Ah, maybe thats why I'm having issues..........do yo have the APK please?
The BBC responded to a 4.3 question with this so looks like we have to wait for new version to be published

The dropbox file is gone. Media Player version is now 2.2, does anyone have that?
Seconded...thought it was weird how easy it was to get iplayer off of the app store (for chromecasting abroad) and then came across this bloody annoyance haha! So yes if anyone has an updated apk for manual download that'd be great

Hello All,
Has anyone gotten Hulu to work on Honeycomb? If so, which modded version of Flash did you use? What browser and settings?
I am currenly using Flashback ROM Alpha 5.5 (Android 3.0.1).
Does anyone have information on when Netflix will be available for
Honeycomb?
Thanks,
Paul

try it and let us know.
Do you know where I can find the app (.apk) to try this? It's not in the Market yet.

no sorry I do not
I installed the Modified Netflix app where the device check is disabled.
I am able to see Available movies, My Queue etc properly.
When I try to watch a video, I receive the following error:
Sorry we could not reach the Netflix service. Please try again later. If the problem persists please visit Netflix.com (1005).
How about Crackle? I have the app on my G Tablet and it keeps saying it has been disconnected. What do I do?
Newest netflix update works on honeycomb gtab now
Sent from my DROIDX using XDA App
Great!! Where can I download it? Not available on Android Market. Unable to download (due to device type) on market.android.com.

Edit: I can not confirm if this works, as the app says overloaded and will not fully load on my gtab running GtabComb b3.2
Edit 2: It works! The video quality isn't the greatest but it works. woot

Crackle works on my CM7. But no go on Flashback or Gtabcomb. With the Flash from the market on the HC ROMs, I get only audio and with the hacked flash the app starts to play the video and then backs out, just like it did initially when the Netflix app came out.
I will try the .apk and let you know what I find out...thx
I am running gtabcom 3.2, puffin browser, and flash 10.3 from the market. It works great on hulu, not sure on nextflick.
Netflix Works on Flashback Honeycomb ROM Alpha 5.5!!
The video is a little blocky when watching the first 10 - 15 seconds. After the video caches a little, video quality is quite acceptable.
Here is the link to the .apk: http://www.multiupload.com/XTEWL8CLCZ
Awesome!!!
Can't get hulu videos to go full screen, but at least its working. Thanks for the info.
Gtabcomb 3.3 runs the market netflix app perfectly.
Sent from my GtabComb using XDA Premium App
if you do a search in the forum I think someone posted the netflix apk.
Hulu and Netflix
Don't have any experience with Netflix, but Puffin browser with Flash from the market will play Hulu videos. But Hulu videos are choppy for me. My 2cents worth.
It works!
I confirmed this app works on vtab GE edition. Thanks a bunch for the link from droidlife!
Has anyone gotten Hulu/ Xfinity TV to work on the Prime? I've updated to ICS with no problem, just wondering if Hulu is working. If yes, is root required? Maybe I should just chill and wait for a Rom?
Thanks guys.
Xfinity TV seems to be working for me. Just tried changing the channel and it went fine.

I should have been more specific.....I was wondering about watching tv and movies over Xfinity website, like Hulu.
To watch hulu.com you have two options:
Buy flash video browser ($2) from android market
Or
In themes and apps there is a hulu flash mod (root required) , I had this mod working on hc but ics upgrade borked it, gonna retry later tonight and see if it works

Hallo everybody,
I am not able to display Vimeo video's at my Samsung Galaxy S2(ICS - 4.0.3. - not rooted).
I installed other browsers like Dolphin, Opera, Chrome, but nothing works. The video's are suites for mobile devices.
I stille get the error "This video can't be played with your current setup. Please switch to a browser that providers native H.264 support or install Adobe Flash Player.".
I can't install Adobe Flash Player, because it is't compatible with the S2.
What can I do? Is it possible to play Vimeo video's on the S2?
Johanna

Hi Yanekx,
You also have to enable the mobile option at your video in Vimeo.
Good luck!

What about videos that are hosted on Vimeo but are embeded on another site like tumblr . Those wont work either. I have the latest flash player from the adobe archive, installed the latest Mozilla Firefox browser (said to be able to play H264 encoded videos), Opera (not the mini version) and ... urgh .. Chrome, yet still ... my S II wont run the videos. Tested on a HTC, they work flawlessly. I use Vodafone stock 4.0.4 ROM, non rooted. I did see however that on one Vimeo forum, one of the "staff" guys said that they are currently working on this issue (working that has been going on for apparently a year or so) but still no ETA on when it will be solved.

Anyone else is having problems with youtube updates? It doesn't play videos. Only the stock youtube app from my phone (electrify) works. Now, I installed Hybrid ROM and it doesn't come with youtube, and the version in the market still have the same problem. Anyone know the latest working version for my phone and where to download it? Thank you.

I got rid of my Electrify but recall I had to roll back several version before finding the last one that worked. Then I no longer updated youtube. I think I found it in a Google youtube product forum. Yep search google for Youtube 4.5.17 apk and install it over whatever you have now. Your youtube videos will play again. Just don't update Youtube until the issue gets fixed but I doubt it will as its been almost 4 months. Not missing much with the newer versions anyway.
