It should work if your phone is rooted. There is no other way to move data at the moment. I also have NFS and Asphalt 7 and they work fine with the data moved to the external SD card. Here's a video how to use it.
I tried folder mount, it works but beware if you have an exfat formatted (if you format with the mega) sd card as it may be prone to corruption. I have now formatted it to fat32, and it seems more stable

They work just moved the game such as NFS, etc. but I can not move a lot of programs that take up space. FolderMount sees it as 0 bytes. I also tried to do a Titanium backup but it does not work. Do you have any ideas?

Do a manual move by tapping + on the upper part of the app, give it a name and manually look for the source folder in the internal memory. The app will automatically generate a destination folder then tap the check symbol on top. You can do this with any app as long as you know where the data is located on the internal storage.

well I'll try to do that! Unfortunately I can not find all the places where applications are installed to move them. I will continue to try to.
Moving the application found on the SD card, but you can not see it in the program, either as a couple or as an application. You can only see these in pairs! What I'm doing wrong

You can use a file explorer to see what folders are inside the internal storage. They are usually named appropriately e.g. Copilot app has a folder named com.alk.copilot.eumarket.primeumeupan in the internal storage and has all the data inside. Some apps are small so you won't find any folder for them as they are not required.

Download and install titanium backup pro from anywhere you like. Open the program and click on the options button of your phone and click on batch. You'll see a number of operations followed by a run button after each one. Scroll down and you'll see "move all user apps to SD card", click on run and you are done

Without partitioning the SD card, you will always have part of the apps on internal. With partitioning the SD card, you can move the entire apps to SD card.
I just went to gplay (marketplace) and got app2sd. Whether the phone is rooted or not you should be able to move the apps to the sdcard-ext, as long as there is enough room.

Yeah it helps in moving some apps to sd but it doesnt allows you to move all the app to sd. you may need to root you phone in order to move all apps to sd. when i used to use app2sd when i just started using android i used to have around 40 mb internal memory free inspite of moving all the apps that were possible to move on an unrooted phone to sd. I was then inspired to root my phone when i saw its possibilities

How can i make an ext part on my SDcard ???
I am using link2sd and it works like a charm. I have not partitioned my sd card.
TRY THIS
If u have lucky patcher installed on ur device, the version should be 3.9.3, first of all, move ur app or game's data (the very known com.xyz.xxxxx folder) to extsd/android/data or obb by using filemanager , now create that folder with a same name in sdcard or internal sd/android/data or obb/here, which would be like com.xyz.xxxxxx, open lucky patcher v3.9.3 goto toolbox tap directory binder, remember it will not bind the whole sdcard or internal sd , it will work only for particular directory (folder), so no need to worry, now tap on add new directory bind, no tap browse the 1st one, and show it to the path of that extsd/android/data/com.xyz.xxxx folder after that select current directory, now go for browse the 2nd one, goto the internal path should be like sdcard/android/data or obb/com.xyz.xxxx select current directory, now tap on bind directory. thats it, it will save ur sdcrd space. u can check it by setting then storage, i successfully did it in my funbook infinity having 1.5gb internal space available, plays the amazing Spider-Man2 , the dark knight rises, and dead trigger.
I have a rooted but otherwise stock Galaxy Tab S 8.4 (SM-T705) and I have a 128GB Sandisk SD card. Is it possible to move all apps (with all their contents) to the SD card? I read that even though my device is rooted, I will need to partition my SD card first before i can move all apps (with all their contents) to the SD card? Can someone please tell me how to partition my SD card? Also, if I move all apps with all their contents to SD card, would the running of such apps encounter any problems (as part of them are supposed to be in the device internal memory?)
I tried Link2 SD and Titanium Backup Pro but I could not see any such function (only native Android app2sd).
Thank you very much in advance.
Hi,
how to use the external memory for instalation of app and games?
I have Micro SD 64GB, and my Galaxy S III don't install nothing in there.
I try app2SD, Link2SD, and the ADB "setInstallLocation"...

S3 is designed to treat the memory as one unit, when internal is full it will start to use external.

Are you sure? The last time my internal SD card was full and the phone was not installing the apps stating that the device is low on the memory. If it is designed to be able to use internal first and external afterwards then why it did not use it in may case. Is there any setting or anything to turn on this feature?
It's how the nexus works and how the s3 works.

Root and use DirectoryBind.
It's more technical, but it gets most of the job done, especially those huge games from Gameloft.
So before I try another method and possibly break something else does anyone know if Directory Bind actually works?
You have 16 of storage on the phone itself. Why would you need to move apps to the SD card anymore? I could see back in the days when you only had 1GB or less, but now there really is no need for it.

OK so you dont play many games on your phone & the internal memory is obviously enough for you But thats not the case for everyone!
Most decent 3d games these days are over 1gb each so surely you can see why people want to install to extsd i certainly want this feature

Free up some space (move a Gameloft game folder from /sdcard/Android/data/ to /mnt/extSdCard/Android/data), install Directory Bind, then use it to bind both folders.

Can't believe you asked this man...
If you're rooted, run the following on Terminal Emulator
(you may want to reate a GScript link and e.g. an autostart entry so that it's easier to use)
Preparation:
* Terminate the app
* Copy/move the folder you want to transfer from the internal to the external SD
* Create a new folder on the internal SD with exactly the same name
Execution (run in Terminal Emulator / GScript)
Code:
mount -o bind /mnt/extSdCard/YOURFOLDER /mnt/sdcard/YOURFOLDER
Note: This does not survive reboots, you'll need to execute or automatically execute the 'Execution' part on each boot.
This setup can be repeated endlessly for all folders you want.

for the moment not possible! Maybe in the future someone will make a rom who supports that
Gl to sd card only moves files. Apps will not work later. For example, I moved Max Payne to external sd card, and then when I launched the game, it asked to download missing files. What we need over here is an app that will automatically rout to sd card when clicked.
I tried App2SD, Link2SD and GLtoSD and none worked except for breaking Google Play, the only solution i found was Directory Bind.

Thanks, will give it a try. Weird thing, i've spent like an hour trying to figure out why can't move apps to sd...
Well Directory Bind can't move Apps it only moves folders, so you can move all the SD data and some of the folders containing the Apps but when you move it you have to leave the original folder on internal memory because it makes it impossible to delete, so you just have to delete the contents.
Anyone tried "super mount".app made by lidroid
Would this work?
I opened the script file using notepad, would you just change where it says "external_sd" to "extSdCard" and it would bind the folder and allow games to access the data from the external SD?
Just asking because I'm not sure if this would work on the S3...
Switched from iPhone to S4.. Everything is on my SD card.. 16GB total, how do I have 108MB? Is there something I have on my phone that needs to be deleted that isn't showing up?
Look in your file explorer and see if you put pics or music in your device maybe before you stuck the external card in.. You may also have 2 copies, one in each place.
Check out "clean master" app too!

Under device, I see 2 SDs. 0 and extSdCard. I'm assuming 0 is internal since it says (9.52/9.62GB).
So I'm assuming things like TitaniumBackUp files are located there.. Thought they were in my external.. Any way I can move this to external, or is it not possible yet?

You can try moving your current Titanium Backup folder in your internal storage to your sd. I would recommend starting fresh and deleting your current Titanium folder in internal. Then go to your Titanium app, menu button and click on preferences, then scroll down to backup folder location and search for your SD location and create a new folder. All your apps will then save to your SD. Hope that helps.

That freed up about 500MB. Still seems like something is really off. In /storage, there are 3 folders.. sdCard0, extSdCard, and emulated. Seems like emulated is the problem? Has 2 folders within that (legacy and 0) which seems to be copies of sdcard0..

2) Open it with text editor
3) Add this code just before </FeatureSet></SamsungMobileFeature>
<CscFeature_Common_AllowExternalApkUsage>true</CscFeature_Common_AllowExternalApkUsage >
4) Save and exit
5) Set file permission to rw-r--r--

It's a Sandisk Ultra 32gb 30mb/s class 10 formatted Fat32 and it's working fine with foldermount. I currently run SkySafari Pro and CoPilot sat nav off it, over 1.5gb data between them. So plenty of available space and no access problems.

No problems with Foldermount, as I said I'm using it but it would be easier to just be able to select move to SD in app manager. Full marks to Arsaw for trying to help with that.
Sorry to bump but have there been any advancements in this area? Main reason I wanted to root was to move apps to the SD card but I'm finding it very hard to find anything that will allow me to do this.
Also tried the above and received the same message.
As far as I can tell the only thing that seems to work is FolderMount, but from what I can see this only moves app data to the SD card and not the actual application itself?
Any news from Samsung if the app2sd support will be heading our way as well as the S4?

With this we only enable that option to be visible... we must edit also the vold.fstab file to get this functional...
This option is working on Galaxy S4 after first update so i think maybe would help copying that from S4 to Mega (but S4 with 4.2.2 after patch update which solve this option)
