What do you mean by bootloader, when i try to enter recovery it sticks on the team win splash screen. When i choose factory reset it does the same.

If you go to you phone settings, choose storage and there you will find the option to encrypt your phone, just need to decrypt it using the password and that's it.
If you don't have the password I believe that after several unsuccessful attempts the phone might wipe and decrypt itself, downside to that is loosing any data.

Ok I have a problem I flashed bulletless Rom 2.5 like I always flash roms I rebooted my phone into recovery (CWM touch) did a factory reset/wipe then I flashed the rom and everything went great I rebooted my phone and the rom booted and I went through the set up. I didnt really like the rom so I rebooted the phone with the advanced power menu into recovery but when I rebooted the phone it just hung at the white HTC screen so I thought no big deal I'll reboot the phone into bootloader then Recovery and try flashing it again but when my phone boots into bootloader and I select recovery I can see a quick glimpse of the recovery screen then the phone reboots and just hangs on the white HTC screen again??????
I tried reflashing the CWM touch from fastboot but that didnt fix it
So I tried flashing the regulat CWM recover from fastboot but still no go
Then I tried to flash TWRP recover and when I boot into that I can see the splash screen for it but then the phone reboots and hangs on the white HTC screen
Does anyone know why this happened and how I can fix it please dont tell me that my phone is bricked
PPlease some one help

I had same issue when I tried CapAlpha ROM.
Your phone isn't bricked.... Just soft bricked.
Just restore a previous backup from hboot>recovery.... Make sure u restore using the same recovery you used to backup with... Just to be safe. That may mean flashing a new recovery through fastboot.

Just relock the bootloader, flash the RUU (you dont need recovery for any of these steps), get to stock and start over...

So I was flashing a kernel and the thing rebooted during flash. Now it doesn't go past the HTC boot screen with that development message in red. I can boot into fast boot and recovery, but cannot find a way to go past the boot screen. Even locked and then unlocked the phone, even flashed a rom the phone,.Any way to fix this?

1)Word to the wise. You don't have a brick. Bricks are when you can't do anything to the phone
2)what previous posters said. Wipe cache and factory wipe and flash stock rom. If you don't have a nandroid or one on the phone use adb. Push to get it there

Hello all
I was doing factory reset on my Samsung Galaxy y duos GT-S6102 using ClockWorkMod recovery. For this I followed these steps. After it, on rebooting the system, it's taking too much time. It has already been upto 8-9 hours and still in process and it's being annoying now
Please tell me what's the general time it takes to reboot after formatting using ClockWorkMod recovery?
Sounds like you wiped your system partition, flash a new ROM or a backup

Thanks for the reply demkantor. Yes I wiped my systems partition. So what to do now to get my phone start? For flashing a new ROM it requires the phone to be switched on.

I am booting it into normal mode. Doesn't work
So you are saying you can not boot into recovery or bootloader no matter how hard you try? The only thing you can do is boot to os and it fails?
There is no way of getting into recovery mode or bootloader?

No, I am saying that I tried both recovery or bootloader mode, it fails. And even booting in normal mode fails. The only thing I am seeing for hours while booting is the black screen with my phone name.
Unfortunately if you can't get into bootloader and have no functioning os or recovery there is nothing to do but JTAG, unless you phone has a download mode function. I'm unfamiliar with your specific phone but many samsungs have a download mode, can you get into this.

Well I may have truly found out how to brick this phone. First what you want to do is unlock the bootloader, then flash a recovery. Next you want to gain SU on the phone and root. If your their and you want to brick your phone you will need to do the following steps.
1. Forget to create a restore
2. Flash the google nexus 4.3 to the phone
3. realize it in a boot loop
4. format data on the phone (yeah that's right...I wiped everything)
5. sit back and admire your work.
Any ideas?

There is a way to adb a rom file onto the phone using twrp as long as you can get into recovery and the pc recognizes the phone....if no recovery though I don't know.. would have to be able to get into fastboot and flash twrp.

I have tried to side losd a rom but either I'm doing it wrong or it just won't work. I keep getting errors. I can reboot the phone from ADB on the computer but I can't seem to move any information across...Heck I can even lock and unlock the bootloader but not side load.

Oh, i feel your pain, Just "soft" bricked my phone. Lucky it has plenty of juice and i was still able to get to booloader. Somewhat of an easy fix. But boy did my heart start pumping.
When you reboot, what does it do? Just sit there on the HTC screen, not light up at all, or something else?
I only ask because I thought I borked mine today going from the OTA, to .12, to S-OFF, the accidentally making it ENG S-OFF, and then the screen not lighting up when I'd try to do anything.
But I was able to get the silver HTC screen to pop up and flash the 4.1.2 RUU to go to WWE 4.2.2.

I am running the Cyanogenmod 11 Nightly from the 11th, and also running crpalmers kernel 5.4.2. I had ART turned on, and was running Gravitybox Xposed Modules. While I was using the phone, while on the charger, it randomly rebooted, and showed the splash screen. The phone was just about dead when it was being used on the charger. While on the charger, the phone repeatedly shows the splash screen, followed by a black screen, and then a vibration like it had just been powered on, and shows the splash screen. This cycles while plugged into the computer. When first plugged into the computer, the computer (Windows 7) makes noises like it is connected and then removed. The phone is not recognized in fastboot or adb. I was able to access the bootloader menu by holding the power and volume down keys. Usually I can not navigate through it by using the volume keys, and it reverts back to the bootloop within 30 seconds. I don't know what is causing this problem, so I tried to give as much info as possible. Any help is appreciated. Thank you in advance.
Hope someone can get you sorted out. Never experienced that particular issue.

When I access the bootloader I am unable to select anything before the phone returns to the bootloop. I can't get to recovery or factory reset. I also believe that running an RUU would be unsuccessful because the phone is in neither ADB and Fastboot mode.

I was able to stop the bootloop somehow. Must have been a combination of attempting to charge it all day and the constant attempts to reboot into recovery. Now I'm in recovery, and there is no partitions. I am unable to factory reset or format data of any kind. I had pushed a ROM to the device in the recovery. I was unable to flash this rom, or the stock splash screen.

So i had a similar problem last evening, left phone over night in bootloop off charger till it died and woke up this morning reconnected bootloop continued for 10 mins then phone booted up, relocked bootloader, flashed stock ruu, unlocked bootloader and installed nusense working fine so far.
