I heard that 4.2.2 fixed the permanent Power Saver icon on Notification
I updated to 4.2.2 and the Power Saver icon is still sitting there on the far left mocking me quietly
Am I missing something?

Hm do you notice any difference in battery life or perfomance? I'm in the US and still on 4.1.2

This adb method worked for me to hide the power saver notification even though it was a different phone. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2312922

Hello again...I Just made an another battery record...1d 5h 21m 57s on battery!!!
My battery level is at 50% so far....let's see where will the record will stop...

I left it without touching it...just 30min of music and 35min of use...then nothing..

I believe what most smartphone users try to achieve nowadays is good battery life while actually using their phones as they are intended to be used, not while keeping them in a drawer.

try to get a second hand DELL STREAK 5 with stock froyo rom and compare with ur SG3...u will definitely get huge battery life with DS5....

My S2 has a problem - back button is less responsive and has a smaller sensitive area than the options button (the left one).
I really need to click it 'harder'

+1. I have the same problem. I have flashed many different Roms-both stock and cook but not solved. Now I have to use Navigation bar instead.

It remains the same state
When I charge my Evo 4g Lte ... after I unplug the charger, the green "charged" light stays on, till I turn the phone/screen on. At first I thought it was telling me I had email or something. But I don't. So I'm not sure. Would anyone know what it might be? It was doing it a while. Then it stopped for a few days. Now it's doing it again.
I can't seem to find any info on it.

Stock ... unrooted ...android 4.1.1
I just noticed it stays on when it's orange too. So either way, it stays on till I turn the phone on.

So "no" to the custom ROM. There are stock rooted ROMs. Now how about the firmware? Android is software.

Settings > about > software information (incl firmware) > firmware isn't listed

Go to setting / display / notification light. Turn them all off. Reboot. Turn them all on and reboot.
Hope it works.

Very cool.
Doubtful, international L9 would get 4.2 before T-Mobile would since it wont need carrier additions and LG would be the only one able to do the port. The P769 is near its end of life, I doubt we will get another update. This just seems like a mistype.
I have a friend who is on 4.1.2 and he is getting an ota software update notification.

I saw that too. I just thought they mistyped 4.2 in place of 4.1.2
hate to be a party pooper but who cares? people always pining for the latest android.. half the changes are for tablets and multiple user accounts. we're better off focusing on easier bootloader unlock and more rom/kernel variety. i'd rather have a GB rom available than the bleeding edge android. to each their own i guess :highfive:
