I tried link2sd but I get this notice
App2SD is not supported by your device. Because your device has a primary external storage which is emulated from the internal storage. You can link the app in order to move its files to your SD card.
Help me, please
My device is stock, rooted

Is there a way to move Apps from TFP .21 ICS to external SD card? Internal memory's being eaten up by Apps and their updates.
I'm using App2SD. But it says "The device does not have a real primary external storage, or the primary external storage is emulated. Moving app to SD function may not be supported by this device."
Any help would be appreciated.

I recently bought a 32GB SD card that cost 50$! for my phone, however none of the app2sd apps work on my phone.
I have alot of apps I need to move to the SD. I may want to put videos, etc. on there in the future too.
Thread moved to proper forum.

I'm not sure of the tech reasons but apparently the way Samsung implemented the internal memory system means apps cannot be moved to or run from the external SD card. There is however a rather neat way to use your SD card as Internal memory and your phone's internal memory as the extSD card. Have a look in ExtSd2InternalSd v4|Increase your data storage
You could try Directory Bind: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1410262
Works well for me but I could make problems with apps that need loaded its data right at the beginning after bootup.
But for game data and stuff like that it works well.
So I decided to root my device and make a partion ext2 in my sd. but after doing this i decided to try to move a app to sd but this message is keep on prompting "App2SD is not supported by your device. Because your device has a primary external storage which is emulated from the internal storage. You can link the app in order to move its files to your SD card." What should i do help me please i want to transfer my apps to external coz my s3 mini internal is just 4.6gb thanks!

Flash a kernel with swap enabled
Hey all,
Has anyone had success using Apps2SD or similar? I have a rooted Z3TC and have been trying to partition and create mount scripts for the microSD card in the app but keep running into an error.
Error:
Mount: mounting /dev/block/mmcblk1p3 on /data/sdext2 failed: No such device
I have posted on the dev forum but wanted to check if anyone in the device specific forum has speciality knowledge. And devs are often worked off their feets!
Sent from my Nexus 6P using XDA-Developers Legacy app
Solved.
2nd partition needed to be formatted as ext4. Still a whole load of other issues to sort through, but I have a working version. (Will never buy a device with this small internal memory again!!!)

Hello.
I have the App2SDPro app and have not been able to get it to work. Can you explain in more details how you did it? 16GB is always making me delete stuff...but there is no phone that can match this size so I just need to find a way to move apps.
Thanks!
Hi,
I use App2SD since a while due to the ridiculous amount of memory of this device. I have something around 320 applications installed with games, gps/maps... all locally installed.
I don't use the "Link apps to SD card" option but only the "Folder Mount" one.
I barely move everything on the root of the internal SD to a dedicated folder on my external SD card.
The trick is to find the folder on which App2SD has the write permissions. As there is a several location for both internal and external storage location it can require some try/fail tests...
I'm on LineageOS and I use these links to move all the obb folder to the external SD card:
Source=/storage/emulated/0/Android/obb
Destination=/storage/NNNN-NNNN/DCIM/App2SD_folders/obb, with NNNN-NNNN the internal SD name
I have unchecked all the options as I normally prefer to move them manually with a file explorer to make some cleanup in the same time.
For some reasons there was some limitation to move directly the Android folder, so do the same for the /Android/Data folder.
Cheers
