FEATURES for 3.0+,
Hybrid engine,
Per app Layout, this will let you choose the UI of any app, that means you can switch apps into their tablet layouts
Per app Size, scale apps individually, this is especially important if you use tablet apps, go as small or big as you like
Per app Color, this lets you select statusbar and navbar colors for apps individually, colors will shift when you jump from one app to another
Hybrid engine makes it possible to use any tablet ready app available on your phone, start with your regular Google apps and see what treasures lie hidden in them and just how well they work on your device.
You can use hybrid engine to use all available general interface UI's aswell: Phone, Phablet, Tablet. This is safe as milk, we don't change DPI, we don't trash your market, we don't shrink all your apps or force them into layouts, you don't need to edit system files for that.

4.3 PA GApps - 0802 UPDATE
I have uploaded a new 4.3 PA GApps for PA v3.90+. These GApps can only be used on Android 4.3 ROM's. The following changes have been made since the 0801 preview release:
Further compatibility updates for Photosphere camera and Gallery viewer
Google Play Music updated to v5.1.1107K.753159
IMPORTANT: These GApps will NOT install on v4.2.2. Installation will fail.
ALSO INCLUDED: Google Keyboard is included in PA GApps. To avoid duplication and confusion, the GApps installation script will remove the Android AOSP keyboard that is installed with most ROM's (including Paranoid Android).
PLEASE NOTE: PA GApps will use LESS of your device's available storage than using a 'bare bones' GApps and downloading the apps from the Play Store. This is because PA GApps are installed entirely in the System partition, leaving the Data (User) partition for your non-Google apps. Since the System partition is a fixed size, installing GApps here uses storage that would otherwise be left unused (and unavailable for other use). Also note that Android automatically will remove the app from your Data partition if the System version is the same or newer than the version in your Data partition. Just be certain to wipe Dalvik and cache after flashing the new GApps. This means that you can freely install any updates from the Play Store without any concern about duplicate versions existing on your device after flashing a GApps update.

Team EOSJB 4.1.1 GrouperNIGHTLIES
Continuing on from the success of the EOS ICS roms, we present to you EOS3, based on JELLYBEAN!
It is the goal of Team EOS to develop and maintain the highest performing and most stable AOSP based rom for an array of platforms. For the latest news on Team EOS releases make sure you follow @teameos on twitter and on IRC on Freenode in #teameos.

NOTE: Team EOS, it’s members, friends, dogs, cats, and associates are in no way responsible for any loss of data or device functionality. Use this at your own risk!

A quick note on Nightlies: NIGHTLIES ARE DEVELOPMENT BUILDS. They are automatically generated every now and then, and represent the compilation of the latest commits to the code repository. While every effort is made ensure that the commits that are accepted are stable and do not have a negative impact to the overall performance and function of the builds it is not possible to test every aspect of a commits impact to the overall repo prior to it’s inclusion in a given build. As a result it is entirely possible that instabilities may be introduced as a result of a given days commits. That is the nature of the nightly system, and the risk that is taken using the latest code changes to the project.
EOS is an AOSP based rom. It is developed and maintained by Team EOS and is the culmination of our own in house development efforts.
Team EOS Nightly builds: http://goo-inside.me/devs/teameos/roms/eos3/nightlies/grouper/
G-Apps Package
Because this is an AOSP based rom Google Apps are not included in the base rom. To install Google Apps please flash the following package after installing the base rom:
Temporary Gapps package gapps

Features:
Because these are nightly builds the included features are constantly evolving, we do not provide a change log manually. Instead please see the changes on jenkins for your build.
For the most up to date and comprehensive listing of the changes included in this rom please visit http://review.teameos.org
Kernel:
Kernel Note: This rom is currently using the stock kernel, so you can find the sources from aosp.

Installation Notes:
These builds are designed to be installed from your favorite recovery.
Perform a full wipe (read Factory Reset) prior to installing this over ANY ICS or JB based rom.

Good to see Team EOS on the N7 boat
One thing I seem to be having issues with every once in awhile is auto rotate getting stuck. When I come out of an app in landscape it remains stuck and I have to toggle to get it back to default.

This really eases the transition from the Xoom to the N7! Thrilled to see EOS here for sure! Is it necessary to use the gapps pack specified of will any JB pack do?
........Cornerstone.....?
Auto rotation doesn't seem to be working.
Update. The rotation sensor isn't functioning at all. Not working in temple run either. Maybe the driver is missing.
Also thanks for including the aosp browser. It's s much better than chrome. I don't know why Google didn't include it in the stock ROM. Its so much smoother and faster.

I was digging chrome, mainly because of the syncing between phone and computer, but lack of full screen was really pissing me off. I don't like opera or dolphin all that much. The stock browser is perfect. I haven't been able to side load it though.

Discontinued: Please visit this thread for Terok Nor v3
***Disclaimer***I am not responsible if you break your stuff. Use at own risk!
I am not a developer and do not pretend to be one. I'm an Android enthusiast.
Why no Aroma?
Because I've made this ROM to my liking for myself, removing apps I'd never use. I have no need for a customized installer. I'm sharing this with you all because I'm sure there's somebody else who wants a simple, optimized ROM with the basic, stable features. If you want more options or customizations, this ROM isn't for you.
No complaints
I do this in my spare time.
No special requests

Custom boot animation - See note below

Special Note:
I have not developed a kernel for this ROM. Therefore, custom boot animation and init.d support is not enabled as this is a stock kernel. I HIGHLY recommend civato's SphereEngine kernel to enable these features. zipalign at boot is built into the ROM, but only if you flash civato's SphereEngine kernel.

Not to be trite, but you are only getting 2 hours of battery because something is wrong. I have been running this ROM a few days and have not seen that behavior, but without more details the only answer is "something is wrong."
What is using your battery? What is your screen time/percentage? What other processes are eating your battery?
In general, with the Note 8 and Note 2, I have found the following things very helpful when flashing roms:
Restoring a titanium backup usually does not end well.
Failing to wipe/format system usually does not end well
Failing to wipe the cache partition when things seem wierd usually does not end well
Failing to uncheck Android device manager/wiping Google Play data /then rechecking Device administration usually does not end well
Not including good details/bug reports with concerns or problems usually does not end well.
All that being said, good luck. I have enjoyed this ROM, and I know it will work out for you if you can find the battery drain.
my battery life is fantastic. As matguard said, you have not provided any information.
What apps have you installed?
What is syncing in the background?
Did you use titanium?
Are you using tnKERNAL or something else?
I've found picasa web albums sucks my device dry if its allowed to sync.
Until you provide more information, nobody can help you.

Welcome to VanirAOSP. Our mission is to deliver a clean optimized version of Android to as many devices as possible. This is not a kang rom. You will find versions of the features you love that we've rewritten and improved on plus a few we wrote ourselves. we've tried to acheive a more organized and cohesive setup to improve the user experience while correcting any performance regressions and improving functionality.
BY LINARO, I MEAN GLOBAL "-O2 -fstrict-aliasing".... we didn't just switch toolchains. Here at Team Vanir, WE GO HARD.
I created this thread with the permission of Dave Kessler, one of the lead devs for Vanir Rom. This is not my work, rather the awesome effort of the Vanir Team. If you feel like donating, donate to the team, not me. I am not a dev in any way shape or form. Calling me a dev is like calling Mark Sanchez a quarterback. The goal of this thread is to help users with issues, and just talk in general about anything really.
If you're the kind of person that needs options to change the font and color on every letter and expect the ROM to end up looking like kid's cereal box then GTFO. You will not find customizations that are done just because someone figured out how to do them. Everything in here has a purpose and is held to a high standard of coding.
General features:
stock mode - ability revert to stock AOSP code with the exception of a few custom features we chose to keep active
enhanced performance.. longer uptime with less slowdown
custom written CRON and init.d.
minor UI and graphics improvements
custom navbar, navring, and hardware key features
active notifications (improved active display + lockscreen notifications)
usability improvements like power reboot menu and sound
animation control
Improved Vanir keyboard
CM's profiles & quicksettings
additional quicksetting tiles
immersive desktop <- fully configurable immersive mode
low profile mode
statusbar mods
clock & battery mods
lockscreen blur and other mods
soon to come -> quick cam and flash notifications
busybox, embedded root, init.d, cron etc
many improvements and new features unique to vanir
more to come when i feel like updating the op
Download
Download - DHO builds
Gapps - Vanir recommends the latest goo.im gapps or DHOs gapps
Issues:
- Flash CAF-Based Kernels with this ROM
- stop flashing the moto X binaries. they do not improve anything for you and aren't even for your device.
- open source camera and launcher3 do not have the same featuers as the google versions. use the latest
banks standard gapps if you'd like these. His gapps are super legit and always up to date.

Issues arose, I'd prefer not to talk about them because no one really knows the whole story. All I know is that Dave let me create this thread to discuss the rom etc..
New Vanir ? Thanks for your job .

Look on his personal g+ there's some stuff there. Like tommypacker said the whole story isn't clear but that's probably the reason.
Forgive me first time using Vanir ROM. what's the different between download and DHO downloads?

Try 'em on ART. Then you'll be asking yourself why you ever need to buy another phone!
Does Vanir have OpenDelta style delta updates?

My Favorite!!!
Been through the rounds of ROMs for or device and I always come back!!! So thanks for the amazing ROM! Vanir to me seems so stable and never seems to be hiccups! And also just seems down right freaking fast lol! What you see is what you get!
