I hope android experts to help me ... I'm in a big problem . :crying:
I used the CM 10.1 ROM for my Galaxy mini 2 (GT-S6500D) but I found some problems with screen lock ... so I decided to return to the stock rom ...(the problem began here ) when I installed the stock ROM with Odin 3 v3.04 , the phone kept rebooting over and over, showing the Samsung writings (boot loop)
the phone can't go into Recovery Mode ... the phone can go only into download Mode ... so I tried to install different firmwares with Odin ... but no benefit
I installed CWM 6.0.3.2 but I can't go to it
The Boot loop is still exists
so I need your help
Try to flasgmh only cwm recovery through odin
Sent from my GT-S5282 using XDA Premium HD app
With it in a boot loop hold the buttons to go into recovery like you would...it should turn the tablet off still. then hit the same buttons and hold immediately after that. Sometimes I get weird loops trying to go into recovery but If i turn the device off with power and volume key and then do the same sequence as soon as it turns off to turn it back on sometimes it will catch recovery.
Also make sure your using the right version of odin for the device.

HI there,
I can start my 5830I normally and everything works fine.
I can get to the recovery mode, by vol.+/home/pwr, and everything there works fine
When I vol.+/vol.-/pwr, I got a black screen (the backlight LED is on), and no download mode.
The vol.+/vol.-/pwr used to work and I had flahsed my 5830I a few times. Then I used CWM 5.0.2.6 to bakcup my phone and did one restore. Then I cant get into download mode anymore.
I could connect my phone to computer using SDK. I can use adb reboot recovery to reboot the phone to recovery
But if I use adb reboot bootloader, the phone just boots normally.
I fear that my bootloader has somehow damaged, either by CWM or by my last flash (using odin 1.83, I flashed also the bootloader file and with re-partation checked).
I wonder how I can fix this problem and get into the download mode. I can now use my phone normally and the current system seems to be quite fine. But I still want to have the chance to flash.
Thanks a lot!
Reboot bootloader does nothing because the phone doesn't have an accessible bootloader
This was sent from a Galaxy Ace. Problem?

I didn't flash any recovery. I just restored my own back up using CWM.
"CWM 5.0.2.6 "
Maybe you used wrong CWM not for yours S5830i but for S5830 D/B etc
Use only this CWM ClockWorkRec5830i.zip

That's exactly what I used.
Download Mode: Volume Up, Volume Down, Power.
For galaxy ace 5830i
Try this method
Try this:
1.
Download multiloaderx_v565
2.
Start your phone normally...
3.
When phone started:
Hold down Home key and in multiloader press "port search".
its a forced download mode

Hi,
Just try what khanfri.zakaria says. It will work. I had the same problem.
Hi. My galaxy note is getting stuck on boot screen.
To begin with I was using Android Jelly Bean 4.2.1 and had rooted my phone with CWM 6.0.3.1. Then I used it to flash CynogenMod 9.1. Then I used it to flash CM 10.2 . After this when I tried to reboot in recovery mode by pressing volume up+home+power, phone didn't go into recovery instead it just did a normal reboot. Then I enabled advanced reboot option by enabling developer developer setting and selected recovery option after pressing power button and selecting reboot. This time the phone restarted but neither went into recovery nor did a normal reboot. Instead it got stuck on galaxy note logo screen and that's the way it's till now.
It tries to reboot when I press either volume up+home+power or just power button but keeps getting stuck. It does go into download mode though when I press Volume down+home+power.
Someone please let me know what should I do to go back to safety. This is the first time I am trying to do any kind if rooting/flashing stuff.
Thanks.

OK, so this device we do not use HOME button to get recovery.
Volume up/down and power. Once vibrate , let go power and still hold volumes until recovery comes

I have the international version of note i.e GT-N7000 actually. I posted this issue here as I couldn't find correct forum at that time. Though have posted it to N7000 forum now @ http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=44977074#post44977074
(I have discovered now that posting duplicate threads violates rules )
But anyways I am unable to boot into recovery even by pressing buttons mentioned by you. I am thinking of flashing Philz CWM6 kernal using ODIN through download mode and then flashing CM10.2(or CM10.1 if the problem lies with CM10.2).
I had flashed Philz CWM6 kernal before flashing with CM 9.1. But after CM 9.1 was flashed I think it replaced Philz touch recovery with its own recovery. After that I flashed CM 10.2 with this recovery. Now I don't know if CM10.2 is the problem or the recovery which overwrote Philz recovery
I hope I get an answer to what went wrong so as to be wiser when flashing a new ROM next time.
recently i flashed my phone with odin.

Do these
1.Remove your Battery and at the time of putting battery just press (volume up + down and power button ) remember at that instance only
2.After Doing Above step your Download Mod will Start
3.So just Flash now proper Firmware and then Boot it into Recovery and do wipe data/cache and then start the phone
4.If still not booting than flash It again it will boot up

try this. download the odin multipackage from here. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1552792
If you already have any other s%830i file then it is fine. remove the battery from phone. connect it to the computer. open odin. now press the volume+ and volume- and end key. the download mode will be on. If you get a blank screen, still press the volume+ button. If you have enough luck, you can see that odin has recognised your device. Now flash the firmware.
Just press thanks if i helped:silly:
I restarted my phone in recovery mode and then it went into a boot loop ..just that much
what can be done please help
Follow the guide in general forum to flash a full stock firmware with odin, then factory reset in recovery.
the problem is my home button doesnt work and so it is impossible for me to put the phone in download mode ...now can anything be done ??

Well, I have the same device, and the same problem, i can't get to the download mode no matter what i try, i practically tried all the combination that there is, when i try RECOVERY mode, i get the dead android, the phone boots but I can't unlock the screen ( my kid tried too many combinations) the wifi is not on to try the google account thingy, the debugging mode is not on, so i can't try with the ADB too. i'm really desperate, seems like nothing is working for this phone.
If anyone can help, please !!
Check this out.Probably it works with Galaxy S Duos as well.

thank you for your quick reply,
i have already tried all these combinations though, and none of them is working :/ i'm quite familiar with rooting and flashing roms, I don't usually have problems with it, but Samsung phones seem to often have that problem, especially accessing the recovery or the download mode, i'm really lost here, can't find any solutions or help so far ! seems to me like this phone is screwed ! is it ?
