P769 Wind Mobile help! - LG Optimus L9 P760, P765, P768, P769

i have the Optimus L9 from wind mobile V21B (Canada)
i had to root and installed CWM on it.
however i discovered i needed to unlock bootloader.
so i found this thread http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2370835
flashed to v20F using kdz offline method.
tried the adb reboot oem-unlock, did nothing and only rebooted itself.
then i tried the fastboot tool. tried to root it to do the code in terminal. the display is now mirrored.
i managed to flash back to V21B, still the screen is mirrored and touch messed up.
now i can't root or install cwm.
what can i do?

[Q] Can't boot from CWM mode

Hello,
Yesterday I've downloaded official software update for LG Optimus L9 P760, my phone is rooted. So, phone restarted and boom it stuck into CMW Recovery mode. I've tried everything I found on internet, I have used exitrecovery.zip file USERUI recovery zip, I even used other rom. I can't connect phone to pc I don't know why, but when I do my pc recognizes it as an unknown device. Please if some one can help me I would be very, VERY grateful. Thank YOU
Hello, it's the same problem like i had.
The phone needs the stock recovery to install official firmware updates.
You have to flash the stock firmware with the offline kdz flashing method and then update it via device or just download the new kdz and flash it. Then you have to root your phone again and voila everything is fine.
I hope i helped you!

Could You write step by step what I must do? I have simmilar problem like artcisx and You. KDZ doesn't see my p760 when I try flash stock firmvare because phone still is in clockworkmod recovery.
Sorry for my english.
I've fixed my phone by following this tread
HTML:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2386676
It was easier that I thought.
I have extracted the original recovery.img from KDZ, then using fastboot I reflashed the recovery and BOOM. IT IS WORKING
Hope all of you guys will restore your phones

[Q] Flashing kdz LG P769 error

Im trying to flash kdz to lg p769 to unbrick it, i get this error
how do i fix this? please help
So you have already installed JB before, and is now soft bricked (not able to boot)? In that case, the only option is to fastboot, and use fastboot to write back ICS U-boot and X-loader.
Follow this link: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=41768774&postcount=1
After you are done with this, you should be able to flash kdz again.

[Q] Bootloader issues

Hi!
I recently bought an AT&T Optimus G E970 (unlocked) and have rooted it using framaroot.
Now, when I try to unlock the bootloader using Freegee app from playstore, it FC's and phone reboots. the AT&T power-off animation is not present in my phone. When I try to boot into bootloader by pressing Vol. Up + Power key as given here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2001655 , the phone boots normally but not into bootloader.
Phone came with Jellybean 4.1.2. Last time when Freegee app finished downloading the .xml file, the phone got soft-bricked and I have to use LGNPST method to restore it using the stock firmware .tot file.
I'm not sure what is wrong with the phone. Is there any other method to unlock the bootloader offline?
I think this is what you need:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2230994
It still uses LGNPST, but it gives you an alternative to flashing the entire stock .tot.

Tried both of them. Got stuck at LG logo in the first one and then at Google logo in the second one.
Then I tried the .tot file afterwards and got out of the mess. Still unable to boot into bootloader using Vol Up + power.
Problem solved!!
1. Installed Busybox.
2. Reinstalled FreeGee
3. FreeGee downloaded the xml files and img files.
4. Installed CWM 6.0.4.7
5. Bootloader finally unlocked!
Now time to flash Paranoid Android

help me please!!.. LG g2 mini D618 stuck in TWRP interface

so.. i have an Lg d618 rooted and running official L 5.0.2
i wanted to flash a custom recovery so i started with patching bootloader using this thread
http://forum.xda-developers.com/g2-mini/development/bootloader-d620-d618-t3127819
then i installed TWRP using this thread
http://forum.xda-developers.com/g2-mini/development/recovery-lg-g2-mini-d618-v10c-t2854493
by flashing the img file with Flashify
the the phone rebooted and i got the TWRP interface
http://img.wonderhowto.com/img/39/2...only-custom-recovery-youll-ever-need.w654.jpg
and when i press reboot i got this
http://img.wonderhowto.com/img/38/1...only-custom-recovery-youll-ever-need.w654.jpg
If I reboot into System - I wind up at the TWRP screen again after the LG logo.
If I reboot into Recovery - I got that android logo like i have no recovery installed
If I reboot into Bootloader - I wind up at the TWRP screen again after the LG logo.
If I reboot into Power Off - when I power on I wind up at the TWRP screen again after the LG logo.
i tried this solution http://androidforums.com/threads/twrp-bootloop-fix-after-update-ota.922585/ and it didn't help

Followed you from the other spot...
It sounds like Flashify plunked recovery on your boot/kernel partition (assuming your recovery you described is still stock - that is - Andy laying down with the front panel open). So, I would suggest to ADB push your official L 5.0.2 boot.img while in TWRP and flash that (to boot), and you should be golden.
Also, from my perspective it's hard for me to say your bootloader is acting up, as I have a different LG device and it's bootloader does not have fastboot. It's front-end is only a shim that makes you factory reset to get into recovery mode (it's only function).
Hope this helps.

Did you still have TWRP installed after flashing the KDZ file normal mode? Is your bootloader still unlocked?

LG G5 H850 - Can't Boot Into Recovery TWRP

Hello, I have recently bought a LG G5 and I am wanting to root the phone. I had a G4 which I rooted and it worked perfectly but I can't seem to get it to work with the G5.
Anyway I have unlocked the bootloader on the G5 but I can't seem to boot into TWRP.
I flash the TWRP Recovery and it says it works fine. But when I try fastboot reboot TWRP it says failed. I tried the power button way which ended up resetting the phone instead so I had to download all my apps again. I am not going to be doing anything crazy but I would like to use the root to debloat and do a few simple adjustments.
Any help? I can post pictures of the problem.

From what you describe your problem may be the result of TWRP's failure to "stick," which would explain why the button method doesn't boot you into TWRP. Look at item #9 in the "Directions" section found here: https://forum.xda-developers.com/lg-g5/development/official-european-lg-g5-h850-bootloader-t3363040
