ROM: http://goo.im/devs/ibotpeaches/miuiandroid/releases/3.8.2/miuiandroid_P188F04_jb-3.8.2.zip
ML: http://goo.im/devs/ibotpeaches/miui...multi_lang/miuiandroid_lang_P188F04-3.8.2.zip
GA: http://goo.im/devs/ibotpeaches/miuiandroid/releases/gapps/miuiandroid_gapps-4.2.2-small_signed.zip
Wipe all, flash ROM, then ML, reboot and GA.
If you need English recovery, here it is. Just load the scatter file in SPFT and download it (phone must be plugged when turned off).
http://www.multiupload.nl/N0PBA93WGT
If somehow GA don't work, extract from it phonesky.apk and install like normal application.

v 3.8.9
both by developer GTbluesky
Both versions are JB 4.2
Miui for v987 will be released on weekly basis, every friday.

MIUI for ZTE V987 already features dual-sim. Am I wrong?
Hope this week release has functional multi-lang. I still can't test it, hope maybe next week (my V987 "Left Hong Kong for its destination on 9-Aug-2013").
@dakok
Yes, because I thought that it may look like I don't respect gtbluesky's port. But now I think it's pretty clear that Acid (and whole MIUIANDROID team) wouldn't do anything without gtbluesky's work. Hope you understand, English is my second language.
Is the MIUI v5 available for thw v987?
Sent from my ZTE V987 using xda app-developers app
I flashed v 3.7.26 that was already having OTA available in
settings. After that, two releases from Gtbluesky were released.
There are few more releases, all of them ports from lenovo
Miui roms.
3.7.26 was single sim rom. Not so bad, when we accept
the fact that these are first Miui releases for v987.
It wasn't very smooth, free ram was dropping to 100Mb.
It is really port from lenovo phone and it recognizes
only one sim slot...
I won't try this latest release, I saw at chinese forum that
it is still buggy.
I presume it recognizes only one sim.
Why?
Few days ago, Ydss - chinese mobile phone portal announced dual sim
support Miui for v987 by next spring.
Btw, Ydss strongly promotes Miui for mtk6598 phones.
You probably heard about ydss's baby - MobileUncle

Well, I don't know chinese but from what I understand dual-sim works. You just can't use data connection on GSM, only WCDMA.
I guess I won't find out, until my parcel arrives.
In case it's super-buggy I could use LEWA which also has cool looks.
Where did you buy it from? I bought mine from hotmid.
It is $219 plus postage

MIUI doesn't have one. If you have lots of apps you can create catalogs on homescreen, and group for example games, office apps, multimedia etc.
I ran MIUI V5 3.8.16 from Acid/MIUIAndroid (UK) since 1 week and it works great, the dual-sim actually works for me !
The first is WCDMA and the second GSM only, it's common to every phones though.
No major bug atm, but some annoying thing like the phone number not associated to it contact on incoming phone call, but i don't know if it's my setup or the rom at this point.
Try it you won't regret ^^:good:

Hi,
i was using Mokee 4.4.4 and since a few weeks I'm using Mokee 5.0.2
It is a rom like CM12 but with some customization, not as many as AOKP but still more than in CM12
It is multilangual and as stable as cm12
It was updated recently : http://www.yirom.com/rom/index/344
did someone already download it ? If yes is it possible to upload it somewhere else like mega ?
Thank you in advance
I'm running the 23/3 version of Mokee 5.02 as of a few hours. So far so good!
Does dual sim works well?
And battery consumption is similar to 4.4.4 RC7?
Did you detected any bugs?
Is it stable enough for a daily device?

I'm using the previous version (1st march) and I used it daily
i don't use 2 sim cards.
I had 1 reboot (not a wished, it was because of a crash) in nearly one month

The previous version dual SIM worked very well. I'll know if the dual SIM will work well for the new version later this week as I will be travelling.
Yes I'm using it for a daily work phone as I rely on it. Thou I have my ultra-stable iPhone 6 as my personal phone/backup :victory:
can someome upload it ?
EDIT: Someone post a mirror in other topic
I used this one : http://www.gamefront.com/files/24894999/MK50.2-nx507j-201503230233-UNOFFICIAL.zip
I think I get more spontaneous reboots with this new version than with the last version. However, it could be due to the memory leak issue all Android Lollipop phones have and isn't fixed until 5.1
Hoping to see Mokee 5.02 upgrade soon to 5.1 and integrate native dual SIM support...

This has been confirmed in several posts on some of the Chinese bbs. Apparently, someone has released a temporary fix; although, I haven't tried it yet. I agree, I'm having the same problem. Additionally, it vibrates for everything. I currently have it set to vibrate only on phone and SMS, yet it does for everything and I cannot find out how to make it stop.

does anybody have a custom recovery that works with android 5.0 on z7 mini.
I have stock 5.0 installed and wanted to flash the newest mokee. but when i want to make a backup through the old mokee cwm, but it always says "cant mount data".I would thing thats because of the changed partitions.
Anyway, is there any (non-chinese) recovery that i can use with stock 5.0?

Here in the z7 mini rom thread on post 781 (top) is a link to TWRP 2.8.5.0. However, I don't know if the new mokee works after flashing the nubia version of 5.0 because I don't think (someone can correct me) the mokee uses unified storage yet. Can someone verify this?
Thanks, trying TWRP right now.
So anybody knows if i can flash Mokee 5.02 after flashing Offical 5.0 with the new kind of partitions?

I did not tried it right now as i'm still discoverng this android 5 by nubia...
i just tried it 1 min and can already say that I may switch to mokee soon (I'll try the nubia rom 1 week I guess..)
the UI feels slow
I don't like the nubia theme
and beside of that, the French translation f(cuoco92 rom) is partial and canadian only (other timezone, other clock format, other keyboard layout...)
nubia's rom seems more unstable than mokee (from the first comments I read on cuoco92 facebook page)
it is also very BIG (double the size...)
If you are afraid of bricking the phone, you can also use the stupid chinese tool to install again kitkat on the phone, then install again mokee
but i guess (not sure !!!! ) that it should be possible to install mokee without doing this pain in the ass trick :/

No, you cannot. See this thread on the Nubia forum. CM12 and Mokee are still technically considered 4.4 because they do not use the unified storage. You will most likely brick the phone if you attempt to flash it. You have to first use the Nubia updater to go back to at least 1.82, then you can use CM12 or Mokee.
CURRENTLY I own this device and hack on it.
If you have any question about it, you can ask here, I will reply ONE BY ONE.
How to flash TWRP?
I ported TWRP to this device long ago, and wrote a simple guide, you can find it here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/android/development/recovery-twrp-recovery-2-8-6-0-huawei-t3138754
How to root?
You never need any third-party software, such as Kingroot. In fact they always do a terrible job.
Root you device is quite simple:
1. Flash TWRP (see above)
2. Download SuperSU, checkout Chainfire's thread here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1538053
3. Enter TWRP and flash it, not need to wipe data, just flash it simply and reboot, you'll find everything is done.
How to install CyanogenMod and other third-party ROMs?
I've ported CyanogenMod, MoKee and SlimLP to this device, all based on Android 5.1.1
CyanogenMod 12.1: http://forum.xda-developers.com/android/development/rom-cyanogenmod-12-1-zte-nubia-z9-max-t3166794
MoKee 5.1.1: http://forum.xda-developers.com/android/development/rom-mokee-5-1-1-zte-nubia-z9-max-t3176948
SlimLP 5.1.1: http://forum.xda-developers.com/android/development/rom-slimlp-5-1-1-zte-nubia-z9-max-t3178551
15/12/9 Update:
Official CyanogenMod 13.0 avaliable now!
See http://forum.xda-developers.com/android/development/rom-cyanogenmod-13-0-zte-nubia-z9-max-t3247087 for detail
Also, source code is available on my GitHub, you can build other ROMs by yourself, and even release it, but please attach my name
How to install GAPPS?
This is adapted to both nubia UI and CyanogenMod.
I recommend OpenGapps: http://opengapps.org/
You can choose a suitable version.
Be careful, platform should be arm64
Download it, and flash via TWRP

Its been just a few days since Google announced its latest Android 6.0 Marshmallow version. But developers have already started working on the new update for existing devices.
According to the new Weibo post from the active Chinese developer, Ivan, we could see the first developer version of Android 6.0 Marshmallow on Xiaomi Mi3 real soon.
Of course, you may have to wait for a few more weeks until the first usable version is available, but its still good to see that thanks to such active developers, you can try out the latest Marshmallow Android update months before the official release.
Ivan notes that he’s still fixing bugs on his Xiaomi Mi3. And once he’s done with the Xiaomi Mi3 model, he will move on to the flagship Xiaomi Mi4.
So, Mi4 users also have something to cheer about. Further, he adds that he will also try to install it on the three year old Xiaomi Mi2 model as well (if possible) and finally move on the the Xiaomi Mi Note standard edition.

What do you mean under international stock rom? Could you be more specific?
There are so called "webshop" roms, which are - as you can see in the name - modified by the online stores. Those roms are based on Indian version of eui , installed lots of bloatwares, multilanguages are contained. These are not official roms, not gonna be updated.
You should consider installing offical chinese/indian rom, which is gonna be updated for sure.

I am not really sure if I am running a Shop ROM. Just bought the phone from Gearbest.

Just download the latest Indian version than rename it to update.zip and put it in the root folder and after that Power + Vol + and thats it?
I just dont want to lose German language on the phone. It is for my mother so usability is the most important, you know.

I am not really sure if I am running a Shop ROM. Just bought the phone from Gearbest.
I just thought that the Indian Version is the international version with multilanguage. I have LeEco Store installed and 3-4 other apps. But it really seams to be a Shop ROM because of the missing update option.
Can you explain what to do?
Just download the latest Indian version than rename it to update.zip and put it in the root folder and after that Power + Vol + and thats it?
I just dont want to lose German language on the phone. It is for my mother so usability is the most important, you know.
Thank you guys in advance!

Very simple. Yes.
I have Deutsch in my latest official Chinese 20s.
So does it mean that I can flash/update eather Indian or Chinese ROM just over the shop ROM without losing any data and language?
Sounds too easy for me
Yes, its easy like that i upgraded from shop rom to 21S Chinese - and I was wondering that german is better supported in 21S Chinese then in the germanized shoprom version ... only bad thing was - i lost the google play store.

And to get back Google Play Store you have to download it in LeEco store or just install the Indian version instead of the Chinese, right?
... or use this one -> https://xiaomininja.com/2016/07/15/...l-google-play-services-on-miui-8-video-guide/
I installed the cookie version 92 2 works fine. After wipe wipe data, flash with twrp and is done. Try. The zip file is called
X820_TWRP_ADVANCED_V3.1.1_CUOCO92. ZIP
yes but i heard leeco engineering work on android 7
Heyyo, yeah that international EUI ROM is modified and won't get OTA hence the check for updates is missing.
For my x829 I couldn't upgrade to Indian or Chinese EUI directly via the recovery and update.zip. It would give an error message about file errors. Only way for me to flash other ROMs was to use TWRP via temp boot via fastboot and then flash other ROMs.
I ended up not liking even newer EUI versions so now I use custom ROMs as they have a better setup with the more like Stock Android experience with the quick settings in the notification drawer.
It's still hard to tell if LeEco will be able to follow through with Nougat for their phones due to all the financial issues they have... But meh, tbh I'm not worried given how darn good community ROMs are and how they don't have the odd quirks that EUI have.
Albeit, it would be nice if they at least put out kernel sources for Nougat (or I guess Android O which will be out sooner than later) which could improve community ROMs a bit

It was said by January. Still they didn't released an update :crying:
Last update i got was on 14th October 2016. When ever i send a mail asking about the next update they respond like we will inform in a week or two. But they never did. By the end of march they said that they are working on android 7 but it will take more time. They said expected release will be july last week. I mailed again now. No responses from them.
I like the EUI very much. I don't want to install some custom rom. But same time, this thing have lot of bugs and many futures need modification.

If someone can test it and tell us if Android Auto is working, it'll be very usefull.
As I've to send back the phone I can't test to flash it.
I'll test it as soon as I can unlock my bootloader, unfortunately it seems you have to wait a few days before you can unlock (the unlock tool tells me "cannot unlock until 180 hours", I'm assuming that's what it means right? That I have to wait 7 days?)

From a review I saw on YT that compared the K20 (with China rom) with the Mi 9T (with Global rom) they were saying that with China rom (I assume dev?) Android Auto was working, while it wasn't on the Global rom.
So I think it would work if you use the dev rom (China or XiaomiEU which is based on china). In the stable one doesn't work yet.

I use the recovery from the page: `https://forum.xda-developers.com/mi-9t/development/unofficial-twrp-xiaomi-k20-flashable-mi-t3942518`, and this ROM. After installing the ROM, the K20 cannot boot up, and it always boot into the recovery. Has anyboy has the same problems?
Be carful, it's for Redmi K20 China-davinci-V10.3.8.0.PFJCNXM-9.0

Thanks I've understand a bit, yes (I'm French, Italy isn't so far ) - Well what I'm wondering is why the Xiaomi.eu ROM doesn't let Android Auto to be used then, since I'm pretty sure it's based on the China ROM.. Right ?
It is based on China, but this first build is based on China STABLE rom. My theory is that Android auto is fixed in the DEV China rom. So we will probably need to wait until xiaomi EU starts building dev roms or for xiaomi to integrate the fixes in the next stable rom

Erf thanks for the update.
I'll return it and go for a Oneplus 7 then. Not same budget but pretty bored to "try" phones.
I just got my Mi 9t (global version, Germany) and I am on fw 10.3.8.
How can I update to 10.3.9?
I downloaded the FW and activated advanced updates but the updater tells me everytime that this is not an official release.
Thanks for the help.
Anyone know how to set ringtones for messages app on xiaomi.eu?
