Does the desire cyanogen rom work for HTC amaze? Or are there any decent cyanogen mod roms that work for amaze, I see there's nightly versions but I don't want a lot of stuff to not function

Yes, just try the ones by Sportsstar89 in his CM10.1, and CM10 threads. He has fixed a lot of stuff, just because it's nightly doesn't mean lots of stuff doesn't work. He has done a great job.
Cm10.2 might not be too far away either!

So i flashed the rom to my htc amaze and its stuck on the FIRST HTC screen when the phone turns on..what do i do
I also did a factory reset and still stuck on HTC screen..(HTC in green letters) The very first screen

While in recovery go to advanced and hit reboot recovery then flash it and see if that helps. If not then its a bad download or there's something wrong with the zip.

It's just a pink/white facade...I might have time to screen-shot tomorrow (day-off=beer+beer+beer+???). I might re-vamp/update this...had a few visions/inspirations today.
Nothing major till I get a window's box re-working...As I said, I do it for me as a trivial break from life--I rarely shared before now because I am too impatient for a change/nor wanting to be responsible. If there is a request, share it. Either I, or someone more in-tune and dedicated can implement whatever ideas you have.
I am also getting an "installation aborted" error. I have tried redownloading it with the same results.
I have flashed simple blue-white successfully so I'm not sure what the problem might be.

I'm using the exact framework for all of these...I do not know what could be causing it. What ROM are you using?

I just flashed it 4 times...4 different downloads. I dunno what it could be.
Hello Again!
I love this phone, but it has been a very problematic phone! The problem I'm having now is that Stereoscopic view isn't enabling when viewing the 3D photos in the 3D gallery. It just shows them in 2D doubled.
Any1 know what the problem is???

Clear both caches in recovery and reboot. It's worked for a few.

I just installed Lee Droids, I am going to patch it now with the bootloop update and then change theme (hopefully it fixes it!) worst case scenario I'll take it in for repair!
What is 1 good thing that came out of this is, when I make phone calls I know for sure I won't touch either button on the left or right by accidednt

I just cleared cache, but i might have hit the wrong option, and my phone is stuck in inf loop , I'm reinstalling kernel now!

Just Found out it was [THEME] White Hot that was causing the boot loop....Its depressing!

Lol a backup mate. You should try dark theme for leedroid it looks amazing. I've read on a few threads that reverting to a stock ROM sometimes fixes touchscreen issues.

I have a full back up of the stock Rogers Rom, I was having issues using that rom though, which is why I wanted to change it....its a very perplexing situation.
Is this the theme you were talking about:

Proving myself an idiot again, I just realized that I flashed to the LeeDroid 3D Rom instead of Kernal, so now I am back to Cobra3D 1.8.1 and the White Theme works.
still not luck on buttons, I will take it to repair shop and hopefully it costs me under 50$!

I just tried to port a Full-Sense ROM to the DX, but I can't seem to get it booting.
I was wondering if some of the Dev's out here could help me get it fully booting.
I wipe data, cache and dalvik-cache, and then flash the ROM, it shows the first boot screen, then goes to the HTC bootscreen with Beats audio beneath it, but it doesn't come any further than that.
So please, dev's, help me

Need an CM or aosp ROM for HTC DX to port full sense
So I've been on CM10 since like maybe august or September. I just found out the first stable CM10 stable rom was released. I finally did a clean flash and wipe everything. I've noticed that the notification LED is still not working is their any universal mod to fix this or something? One more question I like my soft key buttons to light up when it's dark in the room is their any mod or something for that also? Thanks any help is hugly appreciated.

Hey! Basically what I've had to do about the notification light is deal with it. I found a few apps on the market, but none control it the way sense did (which I loved!). As for the softkey lights, I never had an issue with those. Maybe try to backup, wipe everything, then install CM10 clean?

First off thanks for the reply! So the soft keys are alright its just I'd rather them light up when the room is dark like sense instead when I touch the screen.

I was running viperamaze and I noticed my sound wasn't working at all when I went to make a call it wont play music either so I rebooted same issue so I went to restore my backup and somehow it was gone so I reflashed the from same issue so then I went to flash speedrom hoping it would fix it but no still the same is there a fix?

I have a telus amaze. Try cm 10 not 10.1 or ARHD4 or the vanilla tmous stock sportstar89 posted.
I have phone sound issues on some of the ROMs posted too including viper. But those three have always worked very well as a phone.
Look in the dev thread all download links quite near the top and easy to find.
As always format system not just data and cache when trying a new ROM.

Flash stock from hboot,it may resolve your problem...

OK I flashed cm 10 and still I have no sounds at all I'm downloading the stock GB telus deodexed ROM this is my last hope lol
Ouch. Have you tried connecting and disconnecting a headset either wired or blue tooth. Perhaps you actually have a hardware failure? Let us know if you manage to get the ruu restore to work.

Someone said I need to do a superwipe I had my sound working earlier but my Mic wasn't I was messing with the build.prop hopefully to fix my Mic now my sound ain't working anymore so now ima do a superwipe once I figure out how lol
