Sorry, but for now there is no firmware available for coby kyros tablet mid8027, and therefore there is no solution to the touch as it is a firmware problem and not hardware. But I personally hope that soon one more people to the project, I'm trying to contact coby Germany and Japan, to give me the firmware that as users are entitled to what we give.
for now I only get long and silly excuses.
For that I created a page (in Spain) to end this poor support.
I hope soon to say that all who have the Coby mid8027 with damaged touch, we are hundreds, we've managed to fix.

Hi guys, im new to android roms flashing, been using the stocks for 4 years now. My little brother locked himself out of his tablet (xtouch x718) its chinese. I flashed it with its firmware on its website. Everything started ok but touch screen doesn't work. If anyone could tell me what to do and how to fix it or just guide me to a rom that can work with this tablet i would be extremely grateful. If someone has this tablet please give me your stock rom backup.

I tried that. Touch doesn't work, all else is the same and working.
just wondering if anyone has a stock img file or any img file for this model. i have exhausted google search looking for help, the tablet is old but my friends daughter is desperate to get it working... any help or guidance would be great. thanks for looking !!!
