Good job man , work like a charm on my xt925
Envoyé depuis mon XT925
Dont know why, but my phone didn't boot up, after installing this.
This is literally the only one that has worked correctly for me, nice work!!

its working on my Atrix hd without problem

No problem guys glad you like it. For the one who didn't boot after this, it flashes it in system/media/ make sure that's how your system is set up. That's how 90% of Roms are but never know.

updatd, there is a blacked out one now!

I'm having the same problem. It just freezes at the end of the boot animation.
Had to go into recovery and flash a different one. I'm on 9.18.79 stock w/ root, I got the correct size for the Razr HD screen, etc. Is anyone else having this problem?
Excellent. Work with my XT925 on CM 10.2.

I also experienced this. I am on Eclipse Blur. I ended up dirty flashing the ROM because I had no other boot animation or access to a computer with adb.

Luckily i had a Backup of my former Bootanimation, renamed the old and the new one via the File-explorer in Teamwin Recovery, which i flashed via fastboot ofc
There's no reason for it to not boot or freeze. That's not the boot animation causing that, if your having problems you should try extracting the boot animation from the zip and manually replacing it. Some roms place the boot animations in other folders. Most are system/media.

The blacked out boot animations are having problems in general I need to look at them. The white original ones are fine

I had a white one
And you downloaded the one for 720x1280? For the RAZR HD? Most people had no problem with it
Sent from my SCH-I545 using Xparent Skyblue Tapatalk 2
Yeah, I tried black first. It didn't cause any problems, but it didn't show anything either (the entire screen was black throughout the boot animation).
Then I tried the white one, which is where I ran into the freezing. I tried 3 different methods (flashing the zip in recovery, having ROM Toolbox Pro install it, and manually copying it to the /system/media directory with my file manager). Same result each time. Maybe there's something weird with my phone? I dunno, I was also skeptical at first because I didn't understand how a boot animation could possibly do this, but something weird is definitely going on. Maybe it's just taking a really, really long time to boot? I let it sit for several minutes before doing a hard reset, so who knows...
EDIT: Ok, just to satisfy my own curiosity, I went back and tried again. I let it sit for longer this time, and after almost 15 minutes, it finally made it through the boot animation. So I was right about it just taking forever. Any ideas on what might be causing that?
EDIT #2: Now it's taking much longer than normal to rebuild the dalvik cache. It's been sitting for a few minutes at the "Starting apps..." screen.
EDIT #3: It's been about half an hour now and it's still saying "starting apps." Seriously, this has me totally baffled. I'm gonna call it quits here and just stick with my normal boot animation. Lol
wise decision Kill

lmao what? i know why it will take a while, the zip clears dalvik cache and cache because boot animations cache after first boot

Yeah but it shouldn't be taking half an hour. My original boot animation took maybe two or three minutes, and that's also after I cleared dalvik cache & cache again for comparison.

Hmm. I could not get the black animation to work. So I tried the white one. Success! but I seem to be getting the loooooooong delay thing too. Drat. The animation is awesome, but I guess I'll have to wait until an optimized version for the HD gets made...

I thought it would be a good idea to have a place where people can post their issues for others to see before they flash, or developers to fix when they build roms. Or, even better, we the users can try to troubleshoot the issues and confirm/share a fix with everyone else.
If you DO have issues, please state if you are using the stock RUU or one of the roms I'm sure will be pouring out over time..
*AND*
If anyone has any of these issues and can confirm please include in the title ISSUE or CONFIRMED(or workaround/fix along how it was done) in your post along with which issue and I will try to update the OP accordingly.
Example Title:
Code:
Confirmed: 5. Post #88 report of not detecting a wifi access point..
This will help me a lot with updating the OP and helping users find fixes, etc
Reported issues:
A few reports of both cores not being utilized properly(Screenshot of 1 core showing)(Confirmed post #171 this is only an issue if you think quadrant is a good program- it is "junk" )
Facebook not working properly(Potential fix reported #153 for root users: Uninstall facebook from /data/app folder and install from market- confirm if fixed)
Battery being TOO good(multiple times in this thread, lol) except #154 that reports unconfirmed worse battery when playing intensive apps/games
Multiple reports of reduced signal strength that fluctuates more(likely just a radio issue, build.prop edits linked in my signature helped me)
Post #88 report of not detecting a wifi access point- needs confirmation and troubleshooting if confirmed - punkmetalska please report your router settings.(Another user confirmed)
#100 the app screen filter doesn't turn off soft key lights(workaround- keyboard backlight controller or find posts here to edit init.d or use g-script(instructions post #121) to perm disable)
Post #107 issues changing font or startup/shutdown animations changes not sticking
Post #123 Unable to import backed up bookmarks from gingerbread(post #129 confirms)
Post #125 softbutton(?) lights will turn off if automatic brightness is not set
Post #128 removing lookout anti-virus speeds up response of phone
Post #132 Mutiple posts of system battery reporting 2%+ difference in battery than shown in pulldown bar after battery mod
Post #140 reports wifi disconnecting even though later explains wifi set to always on
Post #143 Reports issues with reg99 error for wifi calling and how it started working(in case it helps anyone)
Post #144 Issues changing features in stock keyboard, unable to choose which video player to use when opened in "mobile view"(stock browser?)
Post#145 reports white htc screen popping up intermittently, other users suggest battery pull helping and eventually it stops(building caches?)
Post #148 Reports issues sending MMS while connected to wifi, earlier post I'm too lazy to find also said this when wifi calling on
Post #150 Setcpu doesn't work, later posts give alternatives
Post #151 Stock messaging app doesn't show contact picture though contacts app does, possible fix in post #152(you'll have to search his posts for that day/time). Post #166 adds this issue and same with facebook and gtalk
Post #153 Reports "Camera "Manual Mode" image adjustment dials are impossible to read." *and* "USB OTG is missing. That is part of the android ics." -- I'm not sure I understand the issue, just reporting it here.
Post #157 Reports battery pull needed after phone would not wake from deep sleep- needs confirmation
Post #159 reports status bar can be pulled down without unlocking phone and slow keyboard(I have experienced this with all keyboard apps at random times)- Possible fix(for keyboard) go to main settings-develop options-background process limit(apps in cache) and set to 1-4, needs confirmation)
Post #160 Picasa pulldown in gallery app does not sync(needs confirm)
Post #163 Video button not working(needs confirm)
Post 193 Users reporting having to do a battery pull after phone has sat unused, confirmed by 1 user.
This is updated 4-28 to post #171, page 18

I am right there with you, my phone is prepped and ready to go-- I am just waiting till there is a little more feedback.. I have my old phone in case there is any headache getting switched I still have contact with the outside world, but I read the first 40 pages of the leak thread and it sounds pretty smooth if you understand how to do these things.

I use system tuner, it is a pretty bad ass app-- it should give a lot more detail about how the cores are running, even should have an option to choose how they run- but tons of features.. maybe you should check it out.
I am curious about the roms that will get produced, I would try capcombeta, but since it appears he did it for himself and has no intentions of supporting or continuing the rom, I think I will try the RUU later, or run it thru the kitchen myself adding and removing the things I like or don't like..
So to you two, on a 1-10 scale, how happy are you overall? Is it what you expected, more, or less? Have you tested everything? GPS? BT? WIFI? There must be SOME issues besides a little lag, lol.
And one of my few fears, at least because of experiences on my old phone-- if you wanted to go back to stock(or in our case, gingerbread) you had to be UBER careful to get the old kernels loaded before exiting CWM- simply restoring a nandroid did not do the trick.. so I am curious about what the process will be with our phones, if s-off means a nandroid backup would work perfectly, or if there would be extra steps to get back to gingerbread.
Couldn't be more happy with it, everything is working fine for me and battery seems to be lasting a lot longer so sar. Just install it and see

Yeah it works great for me too. Phone seems way faster and with more available memory than the previous update from T-Mobile. Face unlock is pretty sick too.
So I guess those of us on Telus will have to wait?? Anyone on Telus flashed this or would that be a mistake?

um about the same as my old milestone...~800 LOL. something isnt jiving right with ics and quadrant because it runs super laggy. even the framerate on the gpu testing was horrible. not sure what the deal is
icy blue
I have the ics ruu flashed on my stock phone (locked, s-on). The odd thing is that it seems to run faster but at the same time whenever I check "running apps" and "available ram" I have 532mb free at most so far but I have seen as low as 392mb. On gb I was averaging between 600-480's. ( I don't use many apps)
I really want to know if there is a way to get the icy blue ICS look for the notification bar/icons?
I mean this is ICS, HTC I don't think many people prefer your average looking Sense notification bar over what google offers with ICS. (I'm also not sure why they didn't just keep the google search bar and pulled down notification transparent)

Every so often when I go to exit CWM by choosing reboot system now it'll dim really slowly and then do this (see video). I basically have to yank the battery to get it to stop, it'll boot back into CWM, then I choose reboot again and all is good. WTF is up?
This has been going on a while I've been just "dealing with it" but I finally had a camera handy to record it doing it's thing. So what's going on???
That's the new shutdown animation. Just wait about an hour and it.boots to cwm. Lol
Never saw that before. I'd just wipe everything and reflash
Mine's done that a couple times. I flashed a new kernel with a different version of CWM and it hasn't done it since.
Sent from my SGH-I777 using Tapatalk 2
I've seen that twice before, freaked out! Went back and did a full flash and all has been fine since. Flashed many modems, a few kernels and T/K's AOKP twice (... Don't ask) and still not seen it pop up since!

Known issue. Hold the power button in until it reboots. Good to go. It sometimes boots back into cwm, but usually this second time hitting reboot works no problems .

I have been experiencing this screen flickering for about a month now, my S2 start to flicker, lost the signal and shuts down. At first I knew(or atleast tought) it was the battery because it was thicker, so I bought a new one but it keeps doing the same thing, what else can I do? Any suggestions please?
PS: Sorry about a new thread about this, but i didn't found one that says that the battery was already replaced by a new one.
Thank you
Are you rooted?
Cause then it could be a ROM bug or something.
If it's not roted, take it to service. (you can go to service with rooted phone to but keep in mind --> root = void warranty)
Cheers.

So you flashed neatrom recently, same issues?
We are talking genuine samsung battery right? no cheap-chinese crap from e-bay?
You could rule out kernel with a deep clean, nuke script will do that for you.
If that don't work, you're looking at hardware. Warranty voided?

Yup, been using neatrom for about a week now, I dont remember which rom i had when it started flickering. But before neatrom I was running Omega 19. And yes, the battery is genuine samsung, and its not bulged.
I deleted the battery stats a few times, calibrated with battery calibration a few times, And recently used Ibroid Kernel Cleaner because i had a bootloop, does that one do the same as nuke script? I'll try it anyway
I believe my warranty has expired, it last for one year (Digicel Aruba)
Check again for the warranty thing.
Nuke script deep cleans the device so previous ROMs leftovers won't cause any issue.
How were your stock trips? Ever been to JB leak land?
Feel free to try it out.
You really need to rule out all software related before you start thinking hardware issue.

I will try the nuke script than, I recall I was on the leaked xxlsj when it happened, but then again my battery was bulged.
But why use a leaked version if there is already the official xxls8?
Ill try the stock version anyway, do you think it will change any thing if I flash the stock version and root it, I mean, would it still be stock?
Thanks for your help, really appreciated

Exactly the same problem I was encountering on my SGS2. I am on OMEGA 19.2 never been used leaked version using PhilZ then Siyah but remains the same. I was thinking as well that my battery was damage already, I also did so test I tried to play games with charger on, I finished round without flickering then I tried playing again with 90% batt and after a moment it flickered and suddenly blackout not only that I experienced it as well while flashing so now I flash with charger on. What is that nuke anyway? Can anyone give me the link?. It came to my conclusion that I had damage battery but seeing this post is exactly the same dilemma I am experiencing. Attached is the logcat from bbs. And screenshot of in battery graph you can see the cut, it is the time when it flickers and blackout.

I hope someone will look unto this whether its a hardware or kernel/rom issue. I wonder what causes this one.
For starters you need to try another battery.
You're device is also awake while the screen is off so you got a drainer over there.
Search for nuke script and you'll get to the thread.
If you guys get that flickery screen only when % drops, then you might not have a hardware problem.
Here at xda we tend to rule out all software before we start thinking hardware.

It happens when the battery gets below 50% , when I turn it on again , its 0 %.

Only left is to use nuke script, I will use it asap and will report here.

You nuked it, flashed custom, checked the battery, swap the battery (all genuine) so I guess yes...it's hardware.
No warranty? Service center and have them take a look.

Don't procrastinate ! It's like when you do, next day is pop quiz on last night homework. I'm telling you, teachers have some sort of psychic ability to tell when your procrastinating. They're watching usssss lol.

Hey Neo,
Anyway we can get Paranoidroid's Halo baked into this ROM like the Nexus 4 guys are doing here?
Neo is a national treasure.

Looking into it today
btw, PMEM here.
Tried ION then PMEM (clean flashed both) and here's what I noticed: dialer FC'ed (read the forum and noticed that this was fixed ) but the worst part was the inability to turn it back on from sleep after a few times and maybe it's me but the battery life is just AWFUL. I went to a class and it went from 40% to 5% by the end of 3 hours. Oh and the frequent random boots are quite obnoxious. I will say ION seemed noticeably faster and I would run it saying there's more overall stability. I won't give up yet I know you can iron out the bugs. Keep up the good work!
Sounds like you may not have been on the included kernel. It's not nearly as unstable as you've described and my phone has been on it for days now without a single random reboot or bsod.

Hmm I'll reflash the kernel and see what happens. Oh and could you put up MD5 sums when you have the chance? Thanks
TACHYON!
PMEM versions always seem to be more stable for me.

You're absolutely correct and it probably the safer route; however, ION is much more stable then you think and can be incredibly responsive. Just make sure you wipe everything x5 and you'll be alright. Also, I replaced the kernel with the Funky Kernel by snuzzo. Its much more stable and it definitely worth trying.

BSOD? What is this? Windows? If I wanted a BSOD, I'd go get a WinMo phone :x

WiFi Tether on Rez Tachyon
@Neo
WiFi tether in the system menu says "Error" when I try to enable it.
I tried Barnacle WiFi Tether, and it says "Waiting until Wi-Fi is disabled"
I cannot disable or enable WiFi---it's simply grayed out. Perhaps I should try a reinstall of 1.1? I confirmed that I have that rev.
Thanks again for the great ROMs!
(Woulda posted to tachyon thread but for being a NooB---I did do the admonished search for answers...)
This Rom does great on my rez. Neo always provides excellent stuff

No Tether on 1.1.5

@Neo -- Thanks for uploading 1.1.5. I installed it and my WiFi and Tether still do not work. They worked fine on 1.1. I wiped system, cache, dalvik, and data before installing. I did not reflash boot.img since I was on 1.1 before. WiFi and tether worked great on 1.1. Perhaps I should move back to 1.1? I'm suprised that I have not seen other posts on this issue.
Any thoughts?
Something wrong must have happened for you. The kernel hasn't changed

Definitely a good stable build. Wait til you see alchemy though it'll blow you away. I had it clocked to 1728 and its still running with 50%. Its as stable as tachyon, but carries the customization of pacman. The best of both worlds

I'm getting horrible battery life too. I had it fully charged at 100% and it has been on for 2 hours with barely any usage, and now it's at 80%.
I have been running 4.3 a long time now on my One. It takes a couple days to calibrate. I have had the best battery life ever on 4.3. You just ned some patience. I hear it all the time on the 4.3 custom ROM threads.

Go to the Google play services app and clear the data.
That was causing a huge wake lock.

I was on STOCK 4.3 also WW edition. I just switched to stock T-Mo edition. Search the forums and you will see a bunch of complaints about battery life on 4.3 after just a few hours of flashing. Everyone replies back to give it a few cycles and how it is the best battery life they have ever had.
The battery life on mine with the 4.3 has improved greatly.

I hope it works its self in, because yesterday was HORRIBLE. Even today, I took my phone off the charger 30 minutes ago and with NO USE, I'm at 92%
Animations seem choppier too. Rather annoying

Guys... Install something like Gsam battery monitor so you came actually tell what is using your battery.
You most likely have rouge apps that are causing wake locks

Anyone else getting sluggish performance after the update? I never had any performance issues on 4.1 but some apps are really slow and jerky now, even some of the regular system animations are slower.
Also, is it just me or did the developer options disappear from settings.

Yeah, I had to Factory Reset twice to get rid of the lag, and it didn't completely resolve it. It's like even some of the core apps aren't optimized. Weird. The stuttering animations really make me pissed
If you want developer options go to settings, about phone, software information, more, then click on Build Number a bunch of times and it re-enables developer options
I feel bad for u guys tht had to wait all this time and now have performance/battery issues ... I have none here hahahaha
Actually I think it's better after that 2nd reset. It may have just needed some time to "settle"

Seriously? That's weird.
I don't want to factory reset, especially if it doesn't even solve the problem. This is lame.
I disabled the lookout app. That got rid of my wake lock . Battery life is still bad though.

No problem here. I did notice that my phone was running hot after the update. I ended up powering it off for a few minutes. When I powered it back up, it ran at normal temperature. Or maybe it just cooled down.
well, I sure am glad I have a jump from t-mobile. I'm going to offload this piece of crap for Nexus 5.

I have no battery issues here. I cleared all cache using an app right after the update.
