IF this info is correct, I am pretty sure Motochopper exploit will work: (I kow it shows it is in the Galaxy S4 thread but Motochopper works on quite a few different devices)

If that dont work either, I know of a few root methods for MT65XX devices too, let me know if you need more help!
Thank you.

Honestly not sure if it will work. Worth a shot though, if root fails it will simply not root the phone and it will not harm it. The only thing it will do is install Superuser app if the root process fails.

There is no need to root the ROM, cause all the X2 come pre-rooted from factory. So unless your provider/seller has altered the original firmware, the phone is already rooted.

Hi. I have a Huawei Mediapad T1 7.0.
I tried Kingroot 4.8.2 to root my device (connected to the internet from the start) but it didn't work for me.
Does Kingroot work with specific kernel version or something? @DjSix4 Can you post a tutorial of what you've done?
Please help. Thanks.
I successfully rooted mine using kingroot from a PC. I had already this only worked after I managed to unlock my bootloader though. You can request a code from emui.com. You need to create a huawei ID and have your account for two weeks before you can get the code though.
Thanks! I will try to do this and I'll let you know if it works.

Yeah, I know. I basically just kept clicking the green (or blue) buttons or whatever and it worked. That said, I lost root for some reason so I need to do it again.
install kingroot 4.9.6 and try root (repeat 2-5 time)if doesnt work just keep it dont uninstall kingroot..then install kingoroot and click root
repeat 2-5 times until there is two result:
1.kingoroot when reached 90% said kingroot request root permission.. pick granted ..even says kingoroot failed but you have kingroot working as root management..
2.kingoroot success and superuser installed...but kingroot fail to gain root ...
i think the key is update problem the baseband with xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx_pi can be done with kingroot only..but if updated tried methode above....
I used KingoRoot and it worked!Just install the apk one and then start rooting(just wait though)!Hope this helped you!...

Yes. I rooted it once with Kingroot. However on reboot you have to fix root permissions again. Just run Kingroot again and it will reroot the device. This with a LG-K520DY. BUT....
I must warn you that once rooted you can never clean the system of the root files. Even if you unroot the phone with Kingroot software, the system is not clean and you cannot get OTA updates. I did fix this problem by downloading LG Bridge from the LG support site and updating that way. I now have an unrooted phone and I don't recommend rooting this particular model because of all the difficulties LG has created around it.

Try kingroot, however, don't try to replace it with SuperSU since it can brick some devices and this device does not have any stock ROM, if you can chat with TP-Link for stock ROM images then you can start to "experiment" with your phone but for now, stick with apk rooting apps...

DON'T USE KINGROOT! It has been proven to install malicious malware whilst you granting it root permission.
Try this
Enable Developer Options. For this:
1.- Click repetly times in Build Number
2.- It will show a massage "Your now a Developer"
3.- Enable OEM Unlocking
4.- Enable USB Debugging
5.- On the PC, Open a CMD window.
6.- adb reboot fastboot
7.- fastboot oem unlock
8.. Then you click the volumen up y thats it.
9- You'll lose all your data and fastboot will be unlock.
I did in a Neffos C5 and work.
Success
Rooted successfully with Kingoroot in 5 mins

I seemed to be getting a temporary root as any time I restart my phone, the root checker app tells me my phone is not rooted. Used Kingo root (PC) for this. Followed your directions and It appears to have worked? Restarted it and It appears I'm still rooted
I've also been reading around about kingoroot being a bit fishy or something with its excessive permissions? I'm very new to this though I have rooted before (not with kingo). How would you replace Kingo Super User with the SuperSU? Thank you very much I appreciate the help!

What step are you stuck on using the ADB command?
You set up ADB, there are so many guides for this
connect your phone run the command "adb reboot disemmcwp" (without the "). it may give you extra write permissions
Attempt all the one click root methods till you find one that works
There are several guides to Replace kingroot or kingoroot with supsu i linked one in the previous post. that only works with kingo root, NOT king root.
