Both my wife and I have the S4 and both of us have had issues with the front camera not working properly at times. It hasn't been an issue with hers recently but mine wnt out last week while we were on vacation. It is working fine now, however. Has anyone else seen this issue? It isintermitten and seemingly rare with my wife and I but we have both experienced the problem so I thought I would ask on XDA?

I bought front facing camera from wholegadetparts.com.
it is Camera (Revision 2) for Samsung i9000 Galaxy S.
I followed every step correctly to install.
after installation, front camera worked perfectly but unfortunately my back camera didn't work at all, I can see only black screen.
I installed several other ICS roms but still it didn't work.
Do I miss something or is that hardware issue?

These cameras arrive with a protection sticker on them.
Didn't you occasionally forget to remove it?
i noticed a few times when i either make a call or answer one the microphone just doesn't work - it doesn't happen all the time, sp i assumed it would either be a network or sim card issue. however, i have another phone on the same network (an android phone) which never has the same glitch.
i'd since sent my lumia back to resolve a camera quality issue (which they fixed), but the mic glitch happened again. i know i'll have to send it back for repair again, i was just wondering if this has happened to anybody else?
on a good note, the phone came back with a much MUCH improved camera (prior, the pictures taken on auto were all yellow and badly focused, unless i played about with specific settings. the battery was also much improved, even after the update (which lead me to believe a certain weather app was the cause, as i haven't redownloaded that app after receiving back the phone)
I have problem with mic too (actually my Mom ;>)
Phone was sent to repair three times, and nothing...

I think I must record call with my mom and then play it to them, because they say all is good (but with shi**y old SE everything is great, and signal is worse than in this SE...)

I'm just wondering if anybody else if having the same problems as i am... my mic was working fine yesterday and today for some reason it does work.... but you have to litterly shout on the phone for somebody to even hear you and even then apparently its very quite.
I hope its not a hardware fault i doubt i have any warrenty because i dropped the phone about one mounth ago but everything was still working fine..
Hi all...I am new the the Titan II and Windows phones and my very first is having problems with the front camera. It will come on but there are green stripes through the front of it...Looks like the camera is defective but a friend said it might be a software issue..??
Can anyone shed some light or experience with this issue?

Try doing a hard reset. If it's a software issue, that should fix it.

Hello there.
I am using my unlocked Titan 2 for Skype calls to Europe every weekend and I have not experienced similar artifacts or any other problems with my FFC camera's functionality. Hope it is just the matter of restarting the phone.

I have been running 4.2 on my Galaxy Nexus since the day it became available. With the new group messaging feature that was included I noticed that when conversating with friends who have HTC phones (Rezound and more recently DNA) their messages would come over separate. But iPhones, samgung, etc... would work just fine.
I thought maybe it was just a small bug with the phone but after flashing CM10.1 on my Note 2 I have the exact same problem. Has anyone come across this problem? Maybe and HTC issue??
