I stuck in a problem while updating my phone. I want to root my phone without upgrading it on ics currently iam using gb. Iam doing this so because i wanted to backup my original firmware before flashing any rom. please help

no it wont giv u any problm buddy but u hav to be on stock firmware for getting the ics update....
