So I went to shop around and possible place my note for sale or trade but all threads are closed. I tried to dig around to find an answer but all I found was a few rule changes. Is the market place done here?

Yes. I didn't really pay attention to what happened but it's gone.
There were some issues with the marketplace with scams happening and I believe other things. Xda posted about it a few times and they decided to shut it down

OP as post, yes old Market Place was shut down back in November....
New Place as posted on the XDA Portal.
I've an amaze digitizer I never used does any in the community want it. I paid $30 but made a dummy mistake and never got to use it. I'll give it away for $10 plus shipping
