Hi, everyone. I just come across here. I wonder whether I can post the thread here or not. I have a problem with my new tablet. As I just bought one with my friend from Eachbyte.com. It is 10.1-inch Pipo M9 RK3188 Quad Core Tablet PC. It is hot at the moment. It is said that Rockchip announced the RK3188 as a cool-running 28 nm Quad-Core A9 chip while having the same GPU as the RK3066. I have never used a 1.6GHz RK3066, and when i am play the RK3188 Quad Core Tablet PC I think it is so cool though it has cost me $266. Anyone has experience with 1.6GHz RK3066? How do you think of 1.8 Ghz RK3188 and 1.6GHz RK3066? I can't wait to know more about them. :fingers-crossed::fingers-crossed:

Waiting for professional detail about them.

Hi, i want to buy this device, but in webpage im purchasing it from, it has written ARM Cortex A8, but on many sites i see its A9 dualcore with tegra 250. So what is truth ?
In case this is real Folio 100(i.e. shop can be trusted), then It should have A9 Dual Core Nvidia Tegra SOC onboard

Can you post a link to that page... info is off if you are buying a real Folio
Hi, i'm fairly new into this, but it got me interested, i've been reading about some "cheap high performance" processors, such as de renesas ev2 and the rk2918, with the ev2, some manofacturers do say that it is possible to use android honeycomb, the ev2 is a decent for the price dual core procesor, with a gpu that performs really close to the qualcomm mali that was on the first ipad (about 15m p/s) , the cpu is arm9. The rockchip does excel in 3d performance, its neon gpu is said to be able to get 60m p/s, while the processor itself is not bad, is A8 clocked at 1.2 ghz, single core. With this being told, i'm wondering if rk2918 devices will be able to run smoothly the soon to be released ics, or atleast the honeycomb (its source has not been released yet), or even though the ev2 has a worse gpu, is still a better pick? thanks in advance for your comments (except if they are insults)
Still wondering if processors suck as the rk2918 or the ev2 will be good enough to run a newer release of android, other than gingerbread, regards.
Hello guys, I just bought this phone: http://www.fastcardtech.com/HDC-Galaxy-Note-2-H7189
And I saw here that this phone comes with PowerVR SGX544 GPU, and when I googled some other sites, I found on a few places in a product description that the phone has PowerVR SGX531 GPU..
Now my question is; is it possible that phones with Mediatek MT6589 processors come with PowerVR SGX531 GPU?
Or does this mean that these guys on other sites just got a bad info??
Regards,
Emrah.
P.S.
I saw on wikipedia right next to mt6589 processor that it supports PowerVR SGX544.. Link: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/MediaTek
But I am still not sure if the phone has to come with SGX544, or if that is the maximum that CPU supports..
hi,
I'm considering one of the many cheap boxes on 'fleabay' and am drawn to Amlogic CPU's, but as my title says the specs confuse me somewhat.
here are 3 for example:
1. MXQ - with Amlogic S805 Quad-Core Cortex-A5 at 1.5GHz - GPU Quad-Core Mali-450 - 1GB DDR3
2. MX111 - with Amlogic S802 Quad-Core 2.0G (Cortex-A9) - GPU Octa-Core Mali-450 - 1GB DDR3
3. M8S - with Amlogic S812 Quad Core 2GHz (Cortex-A9) - GPU Octa-Core Mali-450 - 2GB DDR3
given that the MX111 has a slower CPU than the MXQ, a faster GPU and same ram, it tends to be more expensive,
so a beginner like me could conclude that GPU is more important. - the M8S is the best spec overall so is most expensive.
I have also considered Amazon's TV box (but not the vastly overpriced one's on 'fleabay') but it is the dearest of all at £79.00
it gets great reviews, but I cannot compare the specs to the above as they use:
Qualcomm Quad Core Krait 300, up to 1.7 GHz, 2MB L2 Cache - Qualcomm Adreno 320, 400 MHz (slower?) - 2 GB Ram (not stated as DDR3)
I am on a low budget and 'she who must be obeyed' is a factor so am tempted to go for the MXQ as I am only interested in everyday streaming.
any comments would be appreciated
Hi., I've had the mx3,, but it was riddled with bugs, now Mxq (beelink) which out 3 I bought 2 are still working proper
.WiFi broke.. But with system resources Iv striped the ROM, and shut down anything Google,my free Ram hovers 2-300..

I have the MXIII (your #2) and run Kodi (Jarvis) and love it. I bought it from OneX on fleabay wth all the trimmings shown at:

Have you found a way to update your ubox? I have been trying for a very very long time and i have'nt. Do you know a site that shows you how to update it or reprogram it? Mines will not let me get Kodi 17 at all. hit me up on facebook Avis D Freightman or [email protected].
https://www.amazon.de/Kingbox-Quad-..._rd_t=40701&psc=1&refRID=BQC7Q0FPM8RDBMV36PTQ
does anyone know more about this box?
comes with a53....s905 s/w/x, or rockchip?
cannot find anything out there and would be glad about some input
I saw a seller in china that said that is a Amlogic S905 in the description and in the specs it said:
CPU RK3229 quad-core cortex-A7 frequency:2.0G
GPU Mali-400 5-Core GPU
***** RAM 1G DDR3
ROM 8G ROM
And leelbox website says RK3229.
I would not buy it if they can't even get the specs right. Maybe ask the amazon seller.
