I just installed PowerJB for XGO, rebooted into cwm touch v5.5.0.4, and select flash from zip and i accidentally placed the zip file into internal sd.
The external sd has only one folder which has no files in it.Now i am stuck there as there is no go back option. Back button is not working as well!!
Please tell me what to do else I have to wait for battery to die.
Thank You!!!!!
Press the Power button one time This is how it works for my Sola

There is only one folder named LOST.DIR which has no files in it and there is nothing else (not even the back button):crying:
Amazingly, I was able to go back by touching the the corner above the menu button!!
Was it a way to do so or just a resolution problem??

Hello, i flashed to stock kernel w/root using Entropy's method and was still getting the problems i was having, so went into 3e recovery to do a wipe. after scrolling down to the "wipe" option, i hit the menu button (to select). Now my screen is stuck on a picture of an exclamation point inside a white triangle with the little android guy standing underneath. I think i have a problem and am freaking out. Any help, please?
Press the power button. It turns on and off the text on the recovery image.
Sent from my Galaxy S2 i777 CM7 Nightlys
oh thanks. I just pulled the battery, re-entered recovery and hit the right button to wipe this time. everything worked out.
I attempted to root/flash my device and got far enough to realize I was doing something wrong. I am attempting to return the device to 'day one' that I recevied it and start over. Problem is when I press UP/DOWN+Power it boots into 3e recovery. I can use the vol up/down just fine. No matter how hard, quick, or long I press the power button nothing happens. I've pulled the battery. Any other ideas? A little concerned. This is a work phone and it's just over a week old.
The AT&T GSII uses different buttons for recovery. The Home button selects and the Back button goes back one menu. The power button is virtually useless for us.

I'll agree with you on the power button being useless, but the only button that does anything on my phone is the menu one. If I press it, it changes to a black screen with the green android with an yellow exclamation point in a triangle above him. No other soft or hard buttons (other than the up/down volume) do a damn thing.

The good news is I was able to reinstall CWR. Now what do I need to do to put this thing back to the day I bought it? WHere is the original firmware available to download?

I'm attempting to follow this instructional and am failing. I'd post in the actual thread, but I do not have 10 posts and refus to post fluff to get them. Here's my problem. Device is booting up fine,
Boot screen says Samsung Galaxy Sii GT-I9100. I have the I777. It also has a yellow exclamation point on it.
Using Odin3 1.85 I attempted to load the PDA.tar through PDA and the Modem.tar through phone. I'm using the non rooted version since as far as I know, I was never successful in rooting the phone. Is there a way to see?
My 'about' part of my phone looks great. The modem and Kernel all look like they are supposed to. So what am I missing?

Ok. Got it all worked out. I tried the Heimdall method and it worked like a champ. Now to start this over using your guys instructions instead of the ones elsewhere.
I accessed Hidden Menu with 3845#*620#and clicked on Device Test.
Now my device rebooted and showed Mini OS 3.0
Every time I reboot it is stuck in this "OS". The are multiple options but all of them except All Auto Test - Partial have (+power) and i can't click them. What does that mean? There's also an option Normal Boot.
Please help!

Try the normal boot options, if it doesn't work use KDZ, it won't wipe anything.
Same problem here

I have found the solution:
Hold the power button pressed and then choose the "Normal boot" option. :victory::victory:

Hello guys, Can you help me ? did something wrong... flashed stock rom and it keeps rebooting can't get into recovery to reset phone
Try holding the home, power, volume and volume down at the same time. It works like a rest i resorted to it myself not ling back. Once it starts up hold the usual home, power and volume up button to enter recovery. If you have a rom on sd card you can flash as usual. This is my first post on this forum by the way so if i was of any help to you couls you send some thanks my way please

Sorry was so eager completley forgot about the stock rom part, the worst case scenario is using odin to flash stock firmware and recovery.
This is based on my Nougat kernel source for the J700P/J7008.
DOWNLOAD LINK
Instructions:
1. Reboot your device into download mode.
2. Attach to PC via USB.
3. Select AP tab, and find the recovery.tar.md5 file.
4. Start the flashing process.
5. After the reboot, hold the volUp+home+power keys to boot into TWRP.
This TWRP is completely stable, and should work fine for normal use (rooting, flashing modifications).
Again, there is a group for feedback you can find here: https://t.me/galaxyJ700P
Please join! It's important for me to hear feedback.

it's okay. got solution, just put phone in sleep mode and unlock. there u can see well. thanks for your hard work
It is working....sort of...by the workaround method...
The recovery screen and full function will finally turn to normal display if you follow these interesting but strange steps below:
1. Do normal Recovery Mode button combination to boot into Recovery mode
2. Once your release all buttons, the screen will turn black and start showing horizontal messing lines, then turn into flashing blue messy graphical lines, like messed up tv signals, which is totally unreadable and unusable
3. DO NOT press any physical button, no power button, no volumeUp, or volumeDown, because you cannot determine which function you selected by pressing these buttons (you can not see them clearly!)
4. Do not do anything, just WAIT UNTIL screen turns black itself (screen saver, normally it preconfigured as 45-60 seconds, you can reconfigure it via Recovery Settings later on once you gain normal access into TWRP)
5. Now press POWER button to wakes up the phone
6. You will see the SWIPE UNLOCK which you can unlock the Recovery screen from sleep
7. There you have it, fully working TWRP UI
Not sure why this happens at first place, hope OP or someone can jump in and fix it. But nevertheless, this is the current way to use this recovery
Hope this helps!
It has been a while since I've done anything with my tf201, and I remember that there was some funky stuff going on with bootloaders. Like if you flashed the wrong file on the wrong bootloader you bricked your device forever. How can I tell which bootloader I have?
Also, does anyone actually have a usable ROM on their tablet? Mine is laggy as hell. I have to click and wait like 4 minutes for something to go. Like Netflix for example, takes like 10 minutes to open the app and click around for a bit. But once it finally starts a show, the video stream is smooth. Really strange to me.
Thanks for your help!
Hold the VOL button DOWN while powering up the tablet, continue to hold both buttons until you get the fastboot screen, bootloader version will be at the top line number 2.

I don't get fastboot when holding VOL down, I only get a screen with 4 options. And if I try to select the fastboot icon nothing happens
