[Q] get backed up sd contents onto wiped sd card

Hi,
I backed my sd card contents to my pc, my rooted incredible was a mess it was running CM7. I wiped the card flashed PB31IMG, a stock+ ROM then flashed MIUI now how do I get my backup onto the phone? So my apps + all the information and upgrades are like they were. Ie. all the money and levels I have got to in a app such as drag racing, my Handcent settings messages etc.
I am not sure how to copy the just the names of all the folders so you can see them if that would be more helpful to you please let me know how. If I could get my backed up removeable disk on here without the files I dont need I would be so grateful. Thanks
If you made a backup before you flashed you will have to restore to the backup and backup the apps using titanium backup. If not, sorry, all is lost...

Please help to encrypt SDCard

4 month ago I wanted to update my XT910 from ICS to JB.
Before update I make backup by nanodroid and Titanium Backup.
In Nano droid I have next three files:
1) cache.ext3
2) data.ext3
3) system.ext3
By Titanium Backup I have very many files examples:
1) blur.res-20121011-122836.tar.gz
2) blur.res-fcda84f42c2c4536a35f34afdd5897e2.apk.gz
3) com.android.backupconfirm-20121011-122916.tar.gz
I mad update to JB oem firmware now I can't read SD Card because before I set
Settings->Security&screen lock-> Data encryption-> Memory card, Device data
to crypt all data.
Now I can't read any files in SD Card because it encrypted. I find that encryption key is not password for unlocking device, it store in internal memory of phone in some system directory but I didn't find which file and where I can find it, I want to take this file from My Old backup to encrypt data.
Please help me with solution. Now I don't have root access that's why I can't rewrite systems files to another.

is it possible to...

backup app data of the xperia z2 (mainly game apps) without root?
sister wants to root her z2, but it's on 5.1.1, so phone obviously needs to be downgraded.
i've turned on backup & restore in settings & accounts sync automatically... i've also backed up to sony pc companion, though i'm not sure if it backs up the game data.
i know some games back up to game servers/google play games, not sure about some. if i move apps to sd card, will the data be stored there as well?
edit: could someone tell me if this is still the most used method of rooting?
http://forum.xda-developers.com/xperia-z2/development/stock-d6502-03-23-4-0-546-completeguide-t3171219 using 17.1.2.A.0.314 going to 23.4.A.1.232
You need ROOT, unfortunately, try ESfile Explorer, it can backup apk files
Edit: install recovery and do a factory reset it only deletes apps and it's data, internal storage will be untouched, then through recovery flash a pre-rooted zip
If you want anything i could try to help
game data are not stored in the cloud. There's no way to back up your game data. Downgrade will wipe your internal storage.
Try Backup&Restore app to backup data to sd card. However, she can only restore it after she get back to 5.1.1.
So she needs to downgrade then root then upgrade thru recovery for rooted 5.1.1 then restore using Backup&Restore.
well, i havent tried this so im not really sure if this will work.

Restoring whats app msgs a couple of days old??

Hello Everyone,
I need some help restoring whats app msgs which are a couple of days old.I own a Samsung S4 mini.
I got my phone un-rooted and flashed the samsung stock ROM(Android version 4.4.2)
My internal SD card got formatted due to this. But I had taken a google drive back up as well as a local back up of the Database folder of my whats app on my PC before flashing the ROM.
On flashing the ROM, I installed the latest whats app version 2.12.449 .I tried to restore my msgs from the google drive back up but wasnt able to no matter what I did. It failed everytime. I skipped restoring the back up and my google drive back up got overwritten with only the new msgs.
I uninstalled and re-installed whats app.
While restoring the only option it gave me was to restore it using the backup on google drive (overwritten one) which was pointless. So,I tried doing the below steps mentioned in the Whats App FAQs to manually restore a local back up which was a day old.

To restore a less recent local backup
Your phone will store up to the last 7 days worth of local backup files (Google Drive will only have the most recent). If you wish to restore a local backup which is not the most recent, you will need to do the following:
Download a file manager. Here are some choices: File Managers and Explorers.
In the File Manager, navigate to sdcard/WhatsApp/Databases. If your data is not stored on the SD card, you may see internal storage or main storage instead of sdcard.
Rename the backup file you wish to restore from msgstore-YYYY-MM-DD.1.db.crypt8 to msgstore.db.crypt8.
Uninstall WhatsApp.
Install WhatsApp.
Tap Restore when asked.
This dint help either . It simply doesnt detect the local backup on my internal SD card. It only restored the back up on my google drive by default. Also there is no option to choose whether to restore back up from your SD card or google drive.
I have tried searching all the forums to find a solution to the above problem but couldn't :'(
Is there any way to resolve this issue apart from installing the message extractor on your PC and decoding the DB files??
