This is the exact phone I was shipped instead of what I thought I was ordering. No one from the website answers email now and I called Samsung since the site looks just like a Samsung site and they said not their site.
The App Baidu input v2.2 is on all the keyboards and has no uninstall option
SAMSUNG TREND DUO
Model GT-S7562
Android 4.1.9
Baseband version: S7562ZCLI1
Kernel version: 3.0.8-1080019 [email protected]#1
Build IMM761.S7562ZCALI1
It looks smells feels and came in a Samsung box with "GT-S7562 www samsung com/cn" on the bottom edge of the box.
I got a new battery and it charges and works fine (one shipped was DOA). My BB Rogers SIM fires it up and I can make a phone call no problem and my contact list is there.
WiFi works and Browser seems fine except for me the Baidu App walking over it with Chinese.
I found this thread googling the build number and it matches all my specs below. So it would seem to be a Samsung built by SPREADTRUM and is for the Chinese market flogged to west from a rather misleading website. It works fine expect the Baidu stuff walks over the keyboards with Chinese letters and the App store is all in Chinese.
The guts are slightly different then the GT S7562s on youtube and in the manual (no manual came with it) from the web. The SIM cards push in from the battery area rather then the side of the phone, into a white plastic retainer then the metal ones depicted in the videos. Other then that it seems to have all the other pieces the same.
When I stick it into a Windows XP box Windows is looking for SPREADTRUM USB drives. And Kies will not see it on WinXP, WIN7, and Mac OSX and the regular GT-S7562 USB drivers from Samsung do not work. I have enabled Developers Mode and enabled USB Tethering.
Android looks and feels like the real deal except for the Chinese that appears in the APPs that are locked from removal.
How do I root this Puppy ?

[Q] ACER Liquid mini E310 root & unlock

Hy Pro's,
I buyed a Acer Liquid mini E310 Phone with Android 2.3.5 (Kernel 2.6.35.7). I would like to root and unlock it! I buyed the Phone from a german Guy and I'm from Austria. So, I cant use my orange Austria SIM-Card in this Vodafone locked Phone!
Is there a App to root and/or unlock the Liquid mini?
.::btw::.
I have also problems with the drivers under Windows 7 Ultimate x64! The "Acer HSUSB Device" drivers cant be installed. I've downloaded from
http://support.acer-euro.com
the USB drivers for "Liquid mini" but it doesn't workx.
Please help me!!! =)
You can root/unroot your device on Android 2.3.x by DooMLoRD's Easy Rooting Toolkit [v4.0](zergRush Exploit) http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1321582
You must install your device's USB drivers first!
Try to install these USB drivers View attachment Application_Acer_1.0_A22F_A.rar (unpack them first, then start "installdriver.exe").
At first, a big thanks for your answer!!! =)
I have always the same problems with the HSUSB Drivers. I've installed your drivers before I plugged the phone to a USB-Port. But nothing is working. The Devicemanager shows me the USB Drivers as unknown!!
USB-Debugging is enabled!!!

When I start the Toolkit, appears the message "deamon started succesfully" and then is nothing.
How can I deinstall the installed Acerdrivers? I've installed also the adb-drivers by clicking on the adb.exe in the downloaded folder!!!
//EDIT//
I have deinstalled the old drivers from the Devicemanager and the Folder in Program Files. Then I cleaned my Notebook with CCleaner and restarted the Notebook. Then I installed the drivers new and the setup.exe asked me about a Acer E140?????!
When the "setup.exe" was finished, I plugged the Phone in a new Port and all drivers are bad!
Okay, it doesnt workx under WIndows 7. I've tried with in Windows XP and it workx! =)
My Acer Phone is now rooted. How can I unlock it to use all Provider SIM-Cards?
Acer liquid mini became locked after flashing
I've bought Acer Liquid Mini E310, its Android version was 2.2 with region CUS6 (I
'm Russian) and device worked fine. Then I've decided to update the phone's OS and flashed it with custom ROM, where Android version is 2.3.5 and region GEN1. When flashing process came to an end and the phone turned on, it asked for operator unlock pin. How could this be that after flashing the phone became sim-locked? Maybe bugs with regions? Please, help.

Hey , I am facing the same problem....The Acer HSUSB one... I tried everything i could still nothing.... Help Guys !!!
Greetings;
There is no way to unlock without a box / paying a unlock service / asking a network operator to unlock it.
To root it there are some couple of options.
Like:
- A rooted custom rom
- Superoneclick
- My own acer e310 app wich i cant send you yet. (it needs some more time to complete the app)
- The best rom so far (the best of all) is sherpya rom.
Sherpya is not supporting it anymore but i can help you with several issues; understanding and performance.
Just let me know when you need help for that device.
Sherpya rom is a Gingerbread Custom Rom; with a great custom Kernel; working like charm (well configured it may get your device perform faster than an standard iphone 3.
The kernel supports ext4 wich after configuring will make your device ultra responsive. (you may ask me how later).
But unfortunly there's no way you can unlock it only with an application.
Please press thank button if it helped you.
It will keep me motivated to help; research; develop applications and so on.

Bootloop
Hi rgxHost,
Sorry for posting on this older thread, but you seem te know more about the Sherpya Rom. Ik have installed the rom using clockwork but now I'm in a boot loop. The phone boots with the green (instead of white) Acer logo. Goes past the green android robot and the get's stuck in the blueish Android logo where it seems to be in a loop!
Maybe you can help me out on this one. Or is there a better Rom for the E310 at this time.
Hope to hear from you soon!
Regards rsnippe

Is it a SIII-clone or a genuine Galaxy S III ?
If you're in doubt, use this application to check:
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.alxdroiddev.gs3identity
my cp is android Chinese s3
This is a Samsung S III forum.
The mtk6575 is a clone of the Samsung Galaxy S III. It is not a genuine Galaxy S III. Samsung does NOT manufacture phones with the mtk6575 CPU.
I'm sorry, but you won't find support for your device here.

Repeat you have two choices one find a clonem mtk6575 phone forum or two try and flash I9300 firmware on your phone that is not I9300 and is different in many respects and almost certainly going to brick it .
Why would user of this forum know the answer to your question they are not going to be posting here if its not I9300 .

Following you? There have been 4 threads today about fake phones and on all of them I pointed the users to a tool to properly tell them if their phones are real or not (most users don't have a clue their phones are fake). After figuring out their devices are fake, when these users have some common sense, they go somewhere else for answers, since they surely won't find them here.
You come posting questions about fake phones on S III forum and still wait for an answer?
there is no such thing as "chinese S3". Only Samsung makes the S III. Everything else are cheap fakes which illegally use the Samsung branding and whose hardware has absolutely nothing in common with the genuine S III.

Make sure you install the ADB drivers for your device from the Samsung website. Here is the link to the page for your Korean Model of the Galaxy Note(The page is in Korean) in the download section there should be a link to the correct usb drivers for your device that you can install.

Adb can be found in my brickfix package in the ADB folder.
http://www.sendspace.com/file/1s0g60
do not use any of the other tools in the package as they are designed for bricked devices.

My Phone Storage is supposed to be 16 GB but it reads 8 GB

My Phone Storage is supposed to be 16 GB & it is supposed to be free because I just got it a few days ago yet it's full & you can't even know where the data is distributed
there is more than 8 GB that's missing in air
I tried most of the known apps to clean or to remove cache & nothing happened
there is an app that I installed once & didn't start up saying that the phone is rooted
so I downloaded root checker & it said that it'sn't rooted properly
then I used Storage Space app & it said that the phone is only 8 GB
& all the apps say that the phone is only 1 GB Ram
What do I do is the phone rooted or not or is it rooted non properly or is it damaged in storage or what
It's Huawei G9 LTE it's read in many apps U2 or Honor something
here is pics of every information about it

It looks like you got a fake clone phone, not an authentic Huawei G9 LTE. Your firmware / build number is not authentic Huawei firmware.

Flashing a ROM when your phone is rooted is generally a bad idea.
Wish I could help you but clone phones are a huge pain in the butt to work with. I've seen them with corrupted recovery etc, no way to format the phone, limited fastboot commands, etc....
You probably won't get a lot of help on XDA for a clone phone but you can try the "Chinese Models & Cloned Phones" forum over at GSMHosting, it seems active with lots of topics / information
Its a forum specifically for clone phone software etc.

Been forever since I used Odin and dived into the forums but I was trying to unlock and unbranded the phone and maybe root, I bricked mine in Odin with the wrong Firmware.
Turns out the firmware for the 715(A) AT&T locked version isn't anywhere to be found online except a single unlegit pay site.
-First thing to note is the newest Odin version will not work for the phone at all regardless, only the mod/patched version 3.14.1_3b_PatcheD (Other versions produce "odin repartition failed" error.
https://forum.xda-developers.com/attachments/odin3-v3-13-1_3b_patched-zip.5158499/
Put your phone in download mode:
Remove battery and reinstall (unplugged from PC)
Press the Volume Up, Volume Down, and Power Button(All 3 on right side) at the same time and it will pop up in download mode almost immediately)
Connect to PC
Doesn't matter if you launch Odin before or after connecting.
Install the Samsung Drivers first before using Odin(Use this link or Google it) :
Download Latest Samsung USB Driver v1.7.59 for Galaxy Devices
Download the latest Samsung Android USB drivers for Windows 10 and Smart Switch. USB drivers are required for seamless connection to a PC.
technastic.com
-Secondly this is the only firmware that will work, ill probably fileshare later, who knows how long it will be available:
Select CSC: ATT
Download Galaxy Xcover Pro SM-G715U1 (ATT) G715U1UES6ATL1 in Samfw - Samsung firmware download
Galaxy Xcover Pro SM-G715U1 (ATT - United States) G715U1UES6ATL1 Q(Android 10) samsung firmware download all model, lastest, fast update, completely free and fast speed in Samfw.com ✅
samfw.com
-Forth, it stayed on the Samsung Boot screen after flashing for a long time(Good 3 minutes), unusually long but everything started up fine after that, and every boot since has been normal. (You'll Note the first sign of the change is the Samsung Logo on boot instead of AT&T)
-Forth, this will downgrade you likely ATL4 Version to ATL1/AUB6(Android 10 vs 11) However first thing I did after setup was check for updates and install, it successfully upgraded to Android 11:
11 Working fine:

By the way, if anyone wants to keep unlocked, please do not update immediately. I found it hard to unlock bootloader after its version upgraded to 9
Please take this as reference: https://forum.xda-developers.com/t/sw-rev-check-fail-bootloader-device-8-binary-6.4035053/
New updates:
Different CSC of the same version (i.e. G715U1) may have different functions. The point most noteworthy is that XAA did not have a dual sim manager. But ZTO does. (XAA is for the AT&T North America version and ZTO is for the Brazil version of G715U1, all can be downloaded from https://samfw.com/firmware/SM-G715U1)
I had tried to use other versions (i.e. G715FN, combination firmware), but all failed.
Glad it did not go brick.
It is also not possible to use firmware of lower Bit/SW REV.
So hold your upgrade to higher Bit/SW REV. if you want to do some changes.
just wanted to say a thank you for this post!
I used a newer version of the SM-G715U1 firmware (2021-09-25) on my G715A...

it probably didn't have any real advantage, other than that I needed fewer updates when I was done...

I recently got one of this Xcover Pro suckers for very cheap running Verizon software, I tried crossflashing to G715U1UESEBVA4 MXO since I popped my Mexican SIM card and a toast message appeared everytime telling me to call Verizon and the phone suddenly lost signal. With the new software the message doesn´t pop anymore, but I keep loosing network after 5 minutes. Someone has an idea of what could be going on? One thing that does still appear on the Odin menu is the Carrier ID set as VZW, my guess is that is what causing the network issue, but nevertheless I could be wrong, if someone has experience with this device and trying to use foreign SIM cards and is willing to lend some help it would be greatly appreciated!
