[Q] WhatsApp date error on Sola - Sony Xperia P, U, Sola, Go

Hi all!
Since a while I installed this rom on my Xperia Sola: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2113851 (experience)
Everything works nearly fine, but when I start whatsapp, the famous message of whatsapp turns on which tells my date and hour are not set right. While the date and time are ofcourse set right...
When I go to Google Play and try to update WhatsApp, a message shows up which says that the previous version of WhatsApp is not properly installed and the package is damaged/incorrect/...
So I tried to uninstall WhatsApp, but that too is impossible (due to the rom I think). I tried to uninstall it true the casual way, via the app icons, and via settings -> apps -> WhatsApp, but there isn't the option to uninstall it...
Anyone who knows a trick to fix it, without reinstalling my whole phone?
Thanks!
PS: Actually, for the moment WhatsApp+ is installed...

[Q] Download Manager (process.android.media) stopping unexpectedly?

I rooted my Xperia x10 last night using flashtool, and then proceeded to delete unecessary apps using titanium backup. I uninstalled timescape & mediascape, as I never used them, and I don't know whether that has anything to do with the functioning of my phone now, because I can't download anything. I just keep receiving the message "sorry! download manager (process.android.media) stopped unexpectedly. please try again."
I've done a restore on my phone, with no avail. I can't even re-download Titanium to re-install what I backed up, just to see whether any of those uninstallations were the root of this problem.
What remains on my phone is as follows:
alarm
backup & restore
calculator
camera
facebook
gmail
market
messaging
phone dialer
phonebook
sim toolkit
settings
superuser
support
sync
talk
UEFA.com
Can anyone help with this?
Thankyou.
I thought there was a portion of Mediascape you need to keep.
Maybe not.
Right now you have no picture or media player do you? I would suggest getting something....that might be the issue.
That would cause an issue with any wallpaper you try and set and would prevent you from recording any video using the stock camera.

I didn't installed Whatsapp+ from AROMA, instead I used Whatsapp from Play Store, and no problems so far. I even upgrade sometimes the APK downloading it directly from their website (they have beta versions there).

Just remove it using adb shell. Manually delete the apk in /system/app/ folder, and install whatsapp from play store. It should work now.

[Q] Suddenly unable to install APKs, no screen filter installed.

Hi!
I use a Note 2, and was able to install apks perfectly fine until this afternoon, now i'm unable to click "install" , it isn't greyed out or anything.
I know screen filter and similar apps have a bug which doesn't allow you to click install, so I disabled and uninstalled them just to be sure.
I'm on stock 4.1.2, no software updates of any sort in the last month, weird it suddenly stopped allowing me to install apks
Able to install apps from the play store otherwise.
Any help would be appreciated
Edit- Also rebooted several times, and tried installing apks i've installed before, no dice
And I do have unknown sources checked.
Try uninstalling the last app you installed.
Sent from my Sony Xperia tipo
Well it's fixed, GloveBox was the problem.
Guess any app which has an overlay will be an issue.
OF, thanks anyway!

Can't use PlayStore anymore after flashing a rom

Hi,
I recently bought a le max 2 from GB with Gapps and multi-language and everything was working perfectly, but i wanted to update the phone, so i decided to install the stock chinese rom (eui 5.9.021s) through the stock recovery. Now, when I try to open the PlayStore it always stops and closes. Furthermore almost all my Gapps (YouTube, gmail, play games, play music...) seems to be installed (when I go to the options they result as installed) but I can't see them anywhere. I have already tried to uninstall and re-install it, but I have this problem as well.
Can someone help me please?
That is the problem of the Le Max 2. You have to go to app management, uninstall all the problematic apps manually and then reinstall them again.
Thanks for your answer!
Your method works for most of gapps (for example if I uninstall gmail and then install it again its icon will appear) but it's not the same for PlayStore... I tried to uninstall and re-install it but it doesn't work(there's its icon but i can't open it). I thought it could be a problem of Google play services but i can't even uninstall it.
Another strange thing I noticed is that when I click on the PlayStore it immediately pops up a message that says that PlayStore stopped working but it keps running in the background and it closes just when I Press a button ("ok" or "cancel") of the message that doesn't allow me to use it.
Have you got any advice for me about this issue?
I recommend to install via custom recovery, eg. TRWP.
Download your gapps package here:
http://opengapps.org
After than, flash it via custom recovery.
100% working method!

That's the problem of the phone, it wouldn't let some apps, particularly the system apps, to be uninstalled completely. When you try to reinstall the apps on top of the existing one, problem arises. Now, I am unable to get the IR Remote Control working again. If your phone is completely stock ROM and has not yet been rooted, back up all your apps and data, do a factory reset and reinstall them. If it still doesn't work, you might have to reinstall the apps via TWRP as rqzor99 suggested.
Thank you amowagou and razor 99 for the help you are giving me.
My phone has never been rooted and i have not installed any custom recovery (what's more this was the First time I tried to flash a ROM .
Probably if i do a factory reset, Google play services and the PlayStore will be deleted from my phone because the stock chinese ROM doesn't include them and then I could make completely new installation of them as amowagou said. Probably I'll try this solution because it allows me to have them without having to modify my phone.
As well I also apreciated the advice of razor.
(Obviously if someone else has other advises for me they are welcome!
I'll let you know if following amowagou's advice the problem will be solved
If you have stock ROM (your Chinese ROM) without Chinese market, called Lestore - there isnt another option, you have to flash gapps via custom recovery. Be careful with choosing package - arm or arm64 - TWRP tells you if you have wrong one and it will dont let you install it, no worries.
If you have Lestore in your stock ROM, just find gapps and install it.
Thats it

Parallel Space WhatsApp not working

The original WhatsApp (the one not on Parallel Space) kept asking me update, but when I tried to update it from the Play Store, it wouldn't let me update for some reason.
So I downloaded and installed the latest version from the WhatsApp website. Now the Parallel Space WhatsApp keeps saying "Failed to open WhatsApp. Please try again later," and I can't open it at all.
Anyone know how to solve this problem? Normally I would just uninstall it but since I haven't been able to back up my chat history on WhatsApp I'm afraid it'll all be gone.
