Stock keyboard for cm 10.1? - Sony Ericsson Xperia Mini, Mini Pro, Xperia Pro, A

Hello everyone!
I need the stock Xperia keyboard for Mike's cm 10.1 for my Live With Walkman.
Couldn't find anywhere!
Can someone please share?
Thanks in advance! :fingers-crossed:

Any chance of having the stock keyboard of Mini Pro (Mango) too? Since I'm Italian, i have problems with the accented letters: when I'm writing something with the physical keyboard and i long-press a letter to get the accented one, I have to stop writing, select the letter I need with my finger on the touch screen and then restart to write. That's quite annoying. With the stock keyboard this didn't happen: I could long-press a letter and get automatically the accented letter without stopping. Hope it was a clear explanation. Is there any chance of fixing this?

How could I fix it? bicause when I'm writing sms I want to see every letter on different button but I can't do that because I have to use only metod with 2 letters on button
Thanx
Sorry for my poor English

u can see teh 1 botton keyboard only on some applications like contacts but when you try to make a new sms or email you can see the 2 or 3 botton keyboard nothing can change that unless someone here in the forum will have a tool or reg fix for it

i would really like to have the 1 button keyboard as my only soft keyboard for ALL applications. does anyone know a way to imply this?
thanks a lot.
Or modified keyboard
Or possibly modify the touch keyboard so that the full stop & comma are on the 1st page of symbols & the word select area is more finger friendly?
Try the keyboard TouchPal ...is free to use and is great for oane hand use of the phone. I write SMS with it even when driving...
here it is : http://www.cootek.com/
don't know if this helps and if it sets the keyboard to default, but if you press on the little "upper arrow" on the right side to the "20", you can change the kind of keyboard used by the application
I like to have this keyboard too...

get ride of the language bar when using hard keys?

Hi,
whenever i use the hard keyboard, that stupid little language bar pops up on the bottom. I always press the eng button by accident and change the language.
How can I get rid of it without, losing softkeys on portrait mode and the symbol function.
thanks!
Ray
The only way I know to get rid of the language bar is to install another keyboard, but you lose the symbol function. Check this thread out for a great alternative, the keyboard linked includes an auto-correction for the physical keyboard, which in my opinion, is a brilliant addition as well as easily accessed symbols.
really?
so theres no way to type underscore "_" in landscape mode?
I suppose if you were desperate you could leave the default text input active and switch to it from the HTC keyboard when you wanna use an underscore. Although that's a little tedious lol.
That sucks...
Thanks anyway

Hi,
I guess, you can do it by :
Settings> Locale & text> Un-checking "DEFAULT INPUT"
Hassan
Yes, we know that, but if i do that, I won't be able to type _ anymore.
Lol cant u close the phone and do undetscore thru one of the side sliders of th portrait keyboard.. how lame sony have been with minor amazingly annoying smart ( or dumb lol) phone issues on th xperia range. Iv had th original x1 then x10 m pro and overall pleased with both. Its just th connectivity/compatabillity that's gettin on my goose...
sent from my rebelliousN1
Yes I can, but in the process of doing so, i might press something else and changed the language to estonian or something. It's a great phone, but these small details annoy me. Crapy contact dialer and crappy symbol keys.

[Q] FroyoBread v023e (Pro) Keyboard Problem

Hi guys,
I'm new here, so I can't post in developer's forums. I have a problem with the "default input" keyboard . It works perfect except for one reason: when I press de "Sym" key, it appears the special characters and I can use them, but, when I scroll 'till the end of the list of special symbols/emoticons, the touch control doesn't work anymore on the list, so I can't scroll in the list and I can't "touch" any symbol to type it. If I press the Sym key again, the list appears, but the touch control is already disabled. It works after a few minutes (I think is when the keyboard is restarted or someting like that).
I don't know if this is a usual problem (anyone with the same problem?) or if it has a solution.
For more info, I'm spanish, so my X10 mini pro has an spanish keyboard. The problem occurs with the default layout given by the ROM and it occurs too when changed to qwerty-br (spanish layout) with the KeyboardSwitcher app.
This is my only problem with the rom (first rom I've installed), so I'm very happy with it.
Thanks in advance for any help.
Rom manager slade bro pm me short post long post hard to understand
kormatoes solved my problem, so I will post the solution here, for the people who got the same problem.
Yo just have to allow the "bounce" in the scroll (over-scrolling): Settings --> CyanogenMod Settings --> User Interface --> Enable overscrolling
Is less appealing, but the keyboard works fine.
Nice to se some nice people hhere thanks again bro
Didn't worked for me.... the symbols freezes after reaching bottom.

try changing your settings
cyanogenmod->interface->overscroll effect-> bounce and glow
I have the same problem.
I have not the
"cyanogenmod->interface->overscroll effect-> bounce and glow"
option in MiniCM6 1.0.2 Rom
Best regards

[Q] Stock T9

Hi, im using MiniCM7pro, that rom is the best i think also T9 is the best way for messages, well can i add T9 in this rom or do anything? Thnx..
Hmm...T9 is predictive text (stands for 'Text On 9 Keys' which is a handy bit of trivia lol) and that's part of the standard SE soft keyboard that's inside the rom.
I can't remember the exact procedure but you need to go into the settings menu then into 'Language & Keyboard Settings'. In there will be an option to use the default input. That will give you the normal soft keyboard for the Mini instead of the one that gives you all the letters in one screen. The Mini's just too small for that..

Remove Smiliey Key from default Keyboard

Hey, how's it going?
I am using an LG Nexus 4 device with the stock Android keyboard. When texting, composing e-mails, or engaging in most functions with a keyboard, there is a smiley key on the bottom left corner next to the period. Is there any way to remove or change that key?
I use the period often, and sometimes hit that smiley key by accident. A few times in the last week, I sent serious messages and, instead of ending the sentence with a period, I ended it with a smiley. Those made for awkward moments.
By the way, I have tried Swype and SwiftKey and prefer the Android keyboard with gesture-typing. I am not interested in installing an app with a supposedly better keyboard.
Thanks,
Vic
I am sorry about bumping this, but this I really dislike the smiley key.
I've tried everything I can think of to change it other than using an app's keyboard (I like the default Jelly Bean keyboard and do not want to change it).
If anyone has ideas, please help! This is one area of the Android system that I'd like to change.
Thanks,
Vic
