[SCRIPT] Theme Accent Changer [Updated Script, Need Testers] - Xperia Arc Themes and Apps

This Is Not An Actual Accent Changer
This is just a small script i made so i could change Accent Themes Faster
This will work better with DdcCabuslay's Xperia Z Framework 2.20
Credits-
Mxy1997 - For the idea and Various Semcgenericuxpres.apk
Basically what the zip does is
- Copies themes into ur sdcard
- Installs Android Terminal as a system app
- Installs The Script
And What The Script does is
- Installs A Theme ( SemcGenericUxpRes.apk) depending on what u pick
- And Then will reboot
*Theme Files Only Take About 1.8mb of External Memory*
*Instructions*
After flashing Zip
- Open Android Terminal
- Write "SU" and grant Superuser access
- now write "theme_changer" and press enter
- Write which Theme you want and press enter
If you want more Themes added plz provide respective SemcGenericUxpRes.apk and theme name
Download Link
Once again this is for easier (in my opinion faster too) theme changes

It's not working, just coding "su" isn't working, tried with "mount -o rw,remount /system" it read the system but file isn't pushed, there is something wrong with the script i think.

I told you dude, typing su and giving permissions for root isn't mounting system writable, when i type su and type theme_changer it says system is read-only and it doesn't push the file to system. Then i type "mount -o rw,remount /system" to mount system, it mounts the system rw but after boot there is nothing have changed at all.

Sorry, I thought you were talking about center clock. Well try again, it is a tricky job, and is easy to make mistake in the process. In CM settings there is option bottom statusbar so the notification icons are down . I will also try to apply the tweak, if it works will share.
Well, seeing a thread with this name I thought to just join in rather than openning a new one well, I downloaded xUltimate, pulled and deodexed the apks and....now what ? I assume I have to switch the original system files with these new ones, but how ? Sorry for the nooby question
create 2 folder on sdcard, in first copy deodexed file from /system/app, in second from /system/framework then boot in recovery, mount system and sdcard run adb and replace file in /system/app and /system/framework. After that use adb to remove .odex files form /syste/app and /system/framework.
Code:
adb shell
su
cp /sdcard/(noame of the folder)/*.* /system/app/
cp /sdcard/name of the folder)/*.* /system/framework
rm /system/app/*.odex
rm /system/framework/*.odex
reboot
If i miss some command make somebody corect me.

Thank you everything works, and my rom is finally fast AND themed Oh, and for anyone reading this: because I have a 150MB system partition I had errors while first trying the cp lines, so I had to first remove the odex files (rm lines) and then use the cp ones to transfer the deodexed files

[tutorial] flashing custom recovery via terminal emulator

SOME OF YOU HAVE PROBLEM WITH ROM MANAGER(LIKE ME) AND SOME WITH COMPUTER THATS WHY ITS THE PERFECT(99.9 % WORKING METHOD) TO FLASH CUSTOM RECOVERY VIA TE
TUTORIAL
YOU SHOULD BE ROOTED
I DONT HELD RESPONSIBLE IF SOMETHING HAPPENS TO UR BELOVED O1
1 NOW DOWNLOAD FLASH_IMAGE( http://www.mediafire.com/?7pkcte8gcyn9pet)
2 now download any recovery from this thread( forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1523050 ) and extract the "RECOVERY.IMG" ONLY and place it in /sdcard/
3 extract the flash_image
4 USING ROOT MANAGER OR ANY OTHER FILE MANAGER(THAT GIVES YOU ROOT ACCESS) PUT FLASH_IMAGE IN /SYSTEM/BIN ya change ots permission to rwxr-xr-x(thanka for rembering coodingdroid)
5 IN TERMINAL EMULATOR
TYPE
su
it will prompt for root access allow it
then type this
flash_image recovery /sdcard/recovery.img
(and press enter)
you will now get this

Okay now I understand.
But without settings permissions in /system/bin/, /xbin/, /init.d the system won't run the script, as it hasn't any permissions to run it.

You right. Z1 camera app need deodex and that can take a better photo. But this mod also get more fc when take photo, and cannot restore the stock camera by CWM restore. If you install it and don't like it, you must use flashtool to restore it normal.
So, I wait krabappel2548 update and fix.

Thnaks in Advance
There are plenty of tuts on how to do it yourself. The mount points are very different for each device so you will have to get a zip for your device that works and then just add your apk.

I think you mistake this for a support site. If you searched then you really didnt look very hard
http://forum.xda-developers.com/gal...tutorial-making-flashable-zips-edify-t1611615
That gives you everything you need to know to make it.

First off. No you should never sign a system APK. If you do it will conflict with the system Sig that all system apps use.
I told you once already. You cant install the apk that way. It has to be flashed in recovery.
