[Q] Install CWM on 6.2.A.1.100?? - Sony Xperia P, U, Sola, Go

Hi, I recently updated my Xperia go to jelly bean. I have fw (6.2.A.1.100) so my question is, after rooting it with DoomLord's method, is there a way to install Clockwork recovery? I can't use munjeni's, because it's for older firmware, and I don't use phantom because I like Sony logo
Is there any other way to install recovery? Thanks for your help, I really appreciate it.

Yes of course, http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2020895
However there is a little glitch with it, charging led won't lit when phone is off.
I have made myself one that fix that, if you want it I'll send it to you.

Thanks, but that recovery is for ICS, and I'm on JB.

@rolo143, please quote or mention when you reply.
Note the attached file is for Xperia P JB 4.1.2 only and should not be run if you have already attempt to install the other one.
It will also lit the led in white so you know when to press volume down, you only need to press it once, no need to spam.

Agggg you should gave mentioned that LOL didn't know it had 6.2.A.1.100 too.
Might work though if the other does.
The only difference is that it save stock chargemon and call it if CWM wasn't called, and lit the led which might work on go too..
Of course, do it on your own risk, but to recover if anything goes wrong you only need to flash system, if you have the ftf for your FW.

Dang it just use this or RecoverX! Ics version works with jb and this one requires just a phone with root! RecoverX is better, i think, personally though.

Does RecoveryX supports Xperia go?
Sent from my ST27i using xda app-developers app

It supports almost every phone. Just go in, select your manufacturer (sony) and your model(xperia go) and just keep the screen on (have usb debugging and unkonwn sources on, usb plugged in). Grant the superuser permission to ADB Shell and it should tell you its done. I am not sure on how to enter recovery for go but mine is volume up

I'm on XGo, JB 4.1.2, Lock BL, Rooted and I've CWM working fine. just Try this one http://d-h.st/RKo, (CWM V.2.0 Lotus) but i forgot original thread, coz i just bookmark download link ....sorry ALL for that, its my bad..
all you have to do is make sure you have install fastboot driver, Rooted XGo, USB in MSC mode, allow Unknown Sources, & USB Debugging mode, after download , extract to folder anywhere you like, connect phone (ON) to PC and run "runme.bat", after 2nd process you have to look to your phone& verify SU acces (allow/Grant), then let the script do his works if it finish, it will tell you to press any button and your phone will reebot, from now you should test to acces cwm recovery
sorry for my limited English...

[Q] Xperia Neo stuck at "SONY" logo when boot into CWM recovery

Hi everyone. Can anyone help me figure out what's the problem that i cant boot into CWM. I have Neo MT15i running FINE with stock rom ICS .587, locked bootloader and rooted. I also installed x-Parts as well as CWM 5.5 and busybox 1.20. But my problem is that my phone just cant boot into CWM recovery no matter what i did either press and release volume - continuously when "SONY" logo appears, or using x-Parts function to boot into recovery. It just ends up stuck at "SONY" logo (I waited for about 10 minutes but no respond).
*Any admin plz delete this thread? I'm sorry. I put it in wrong section. Thanks

Okay here's what happened.. I was on stock ICS 4.0.4 Rooted, CWM installed, tweaks and blah blah.. I came across this Increase system and data partition thread so decided to give a shot.. I made a mistake of flashing the wrong file or something and it went into a bootloop.. I thought it was just another bootloop and decided to go back to stock so I did the usual flashing and rooting kit technique and it was all fine, I even installed CWM(no errors) But when I try to boot into recovery, its not happening!
Its stuck at the SONY logo and goes no further. I have to remove the battery and start it again without pressing any buttons.
I made a backup and just want to restore to that. Help
Good news

I rooted (lock bootloader) my neo for the last 6 months using ics stock from sony, until i realized my HDMI not working, so i found custom "Ultimate HD" as my answer, and i did the "how to install.." steps, including install x-parts but failed, then i installed rom manager trying "install custom rom from sd" but again failed, so i tried cwm manual and again had the sam result as in x-parts (which is stuck in bootanimation after sony logo).
Hope you find better solutions

No it doesnot require unlocked bootloader.
First select the .ftf you want to flash in flashtool. It will start preparing the files. After 10-15 sec,it will ask you to connect your phone in flashmode.
How to enter flashmode:
Power off your phone.
Connect your phone to PC with volume down button pressed.
It will enter into flashmode.

With unlocked bootloader, you can flash custom kernels. These make your phone fast and smooth and can increase battery life.
You can always root your phone with unlocked bootllader.
And the BIGGEST pros of unlocked bootloader is you can flash "Jelly Bean" which is almost fully functional and stable for daily use.

I don't know.I have unlocked bootloader and now I can root any fw without any hassle. You should unlock it too.
You just have to flash custom kernel which has autoroot and you will be rooted.

Is there a Recovery for Xperia P with locked bootloader?

Hi guys:
I just want a recovery for the Xperia P on last 6.2.A.1.100 build , locked bootloader.
I had searched for it but i found only the one for ICS.
The ics ones work perfectly.

Well, flash your phone to ICS and then root it. After rooting install CWM Recovery and then install a JB zip from the recovery. The whole procedure is given in Development section.

Since you are on locked bootloader, you need to:
1)root your device following the steps on Xperia p development section(doomlord toolkit)
2) install cwm using recoveryx on your pc!

That one would work once you have root.
Depands which JB, DooMLoRD Easy Rooting Toolkit only works for 6.2.A.1.100.
