HI, thanks for this rom.
I have a few questions (before I download this & flash it):
1) What version of MIUI is this based on (eg. 3.8.2, etc.)
2) Can we change language to english (sreenshots are in chinese ?)
3) Is gapps already available in the rom or we need to flash it separately (market)
4) Have you tested this on A116 ?
5) Is this a port from some other device or patchrom ??

OK tried it one word its awesome !!!!!!!! just had one random restart...camera works...there are a few system apps which are in chinese i got rid of those using titanium backup and flashed super su....so camera works both are working front and rear......will be testing gps now
The rom doesnt have an option to install apps on external sd...but am using titanium backup so that gives us an option to do so.....

Any difference compared to sendhiloo7's rom (in general forum) ??
Also, if you don't mind, can you answer my queries (2nd post) :
1) What version of MIUI is this based on (eg. 3.8.2, etc.)
2) Can we change language to english (sreenshots are in chinese ?)
3) Is gapps already available in the rom or we need to flash it separately (market)
4) Have you tested this on A116 ?

One other question, in all miui5 roms that I've used for 116, the market, maps, and many google apps icons are like the original classic ones, not the enhanced miui ones. Is this the same case with this rom ?

Well as far as i can make out they are the stock google apps and i can only see play store.....no gmail or maps......but then we can always download......oops no bugs so far my bad sorry guys flase alarm!!!!!!!but am loving the smoothness!!!!now wheres the dev....even i have a few questions

theres very slight lag but thats ok hardly noticable
Ok the first bug is that the phone is not vibrating for calls and sms alerts can anyone confirm this!!!!
Ok found the solution its not a bug but feature u have to enable the vibration from the statusbar as well!!!!!!!!cheers someone please check the gps as am indoors!!!! So far gps is not working can anyone please confirm.....

MMX A116 of the ROM can be used in K-TING on. So K-TING ROM can also be used in your MMX A116 on. I am from China. Power settings where you can set the English. The latest 3.8.9 MIUI is based on the transplant, K-TING has been nothing BUG .. If you have any questions we can feedback to me, I try to fix it. It looks like I'm first to report.
Loaded no problems. booted, went through the initial setup, data worked right out of the first boot in the setup wizard, was able to add google account right there with no WIFI just on the data connection, finally we have skin support compared to no having it on Boxmax 0.3. My skin that I used on DL Desire is not there but I'll try to add apk for it and will test later.
The first use after the setup was very slow but that was before the restart after the setup. The second boot took only 4 minutes to boot, after screen unlock got force close message for android media.
After the first boot and the second boot I keep getting a notification message to tap to set the time even though the time and time zone was set during the initial setup. I tapped and found out the time zone wasn't to what I set it to during the initial setup. Fixed that and hopefully it won't show it again. Will test more after after reboots.
The data stopped working after the first reboot. I had to turn off/turn on mobile network. Airplane mode will fix it too.
I'm glad we now have HTC sence account in it. After fixing the data I was able to sign in. Now I have phone finder.
So far good. Speed is good with some small lags, hopefully after more restarts it will settle down and will be better.
Great work.
I would still like to see a panel to turn on/off wifi, bluetooth, brightness, gps and so on in the notification screen. Then it would be perfect.

I wish that the most successful with the assistance of experts in this forum
WOW is all i can say. This is the first build for Incredible S for SD, and it blows out Desire HD IMO, it does not have nearly as many lags as DHD and is much more fluid. Amazing man!
(However, boot time could be faster, but definitely something I can live with)
P.S. Weather is not updating.

Does anybody have problems installing apps from the market? Now for some programs I get: Installation unsuccessful. Unknown reason - 18.
I was able to install the same programs from the market on the Boxmax 0.3 version and all other Froyo versions of Android.

Still An Issue with Numbers
I just installed your newest build. I have to report that it contains exactly the same issue with Arabic numbers in the Smooth Calendar app and the Mail and Messages apps. I installed the US English version. I only added the Smooth Calendar app and a POP email account. For whatever reason both this Vivo build and your FroYo build mixes the fonts for Messages and Mail counts and the calendar date in Smooth Calendar and the built-in calendar app. This is a fairly consistent issue, happening several times a day in the FroYo version (I haven't had time to test the issue over the long-term in this newest build).

An update. I formatted the card and reinstalled your build. I did not install ANY additional software. I have placed two different standard widgets on the screen. Neither shows an incorrect font. HOWEVER, the Mail icon does not show the unread mail count. I will now add Smooth Calendar and see what happens.
2ND UPDATE. I installed Smooth Calendar. It shows the incorrect Arabic font! The stock HTC Calendar still shows the correct font. However, the Mail icon does not show the unread count.
3RD UPDATE. Font issue exists even without Smooth Calendar! Occasionally the standard Android calendar shows the incorrect font.

Solved: Anyone having the above issue, just go to settings - Applications - manage applications - All - HTC SENSE - clear cache.
Battery consumption is very good, i'm having 6ma on standby.

-To fix Dialer Graphics, reapply sense theme through Theme Manager, or download the theme again from HERE, put it in SD-MIUI-THEME, and apply it.
-A Nice SENSE LIKE BATTERY ICON with %, Download from HERE, drop it in SD-MIUI-THEME, import then apply it through THEME MAMANGER-EDIT THEME-NOTIFICATION BAR-IMPORT.

Abnormal Reebots Issues
MIUI 1.6.10 Reboot issues Phone and Messaging apps [FIX]
A lot of people have been posting in the forums regarding reboot issues with the latest MIUI ROM. Basically if you did not already know, MIUI China introduced a new permissions management system into the ROM a few weeks ago, starting with the Phone and SMS permissions functions, this was then extended to the Superuser.apk as a method of License / Trust management for applications which access the SMS and PHONE functions.
As a result of this new security feature people have been having issues with third party applications such as WhatsApp, YahooIM and other third party applications. The issue being reboots on devices when receiving text messages or phone calls.
Screenshots of the steps to take upon opening Superuser:
To resolve this issue you must first open the Superuser application and make sure that Manage permissions is enabled. Then in the list of Applications look for the third party applications which you have installed, all apps which access SMS and PHONE functions will be listed in the Superuser application, App list.
For each application in the list you need to ensure that the setting is ‘Allow’ instead of Always ask or Denied (Obviously the latter is inadvisable).
By allowing the applications ‘Allow’ this solves any reboot issues caused when receiving messages or calls.
Post in our bug forum if the problem persists, also try wiping Dalvik-Cache and standard Cache to remove any other possible causes for reboots or FC (Force closes).
MIUI has got its own DOWNLOAD application, start it, click on MENU ( Windows Button ) then choose DOWNLOAD VIA WIFI or NETWORK according to your Internet Connection.......
Market download issues are caused by an incompatibility issues of MIUI ROMs with some SD CARDS.................

BTW I think that the AmericanAndroid Kernel ACAr426 that you are using does not have the Bluetooth battery drain issue fixed and also AVRCP was a bit off.

Unfortunately i don't use MAGLDR only Haret, but I have made this rootfs, It should work, please download, unzip, put the rootfs + startup.txt inside ROM folder, and boot using MAGLDR.....waiting for your feedback since I can't test it............

2) Compass Sensor (Automatic Map rotation) is not working as my phone supports it?
Answer: Compass works in all other Clones of Micromax A116 but not only in A116. Micromax have made stupid move by asking to remove compass to Tinno Mobile, the original manufacturer of the phone. GOD knows how much million rupees they saved. May be approx Rs.40 for each phone.
Anyways, for non-micromax clones a small compass patch is made and is available in this post.

3) Should I try any other modified kernel?
Answer: This rom is Optimized to extreme level to give you best performance. This smartly tweaked rom comes with Stock kernel which have confirmed advantage of No Bugs, Reliability, Good Battery Backup and Superb Power performance. It is advised that you try this rom with included stock kernel for few days and then if you are not satisfied, you are free to flash any kernel you want. Custom kernel can be flashed but results are not always as expected. If you face any issues on other kernel, I cannot help you and you should contact kernel developer for further help.
EDIT: Just to add, heavy games like Asphalt8 and NOVA3 runs like butter. And most of the gamers are getting more than 5 hours of game time in single charge which is unbelievable but true. I am not gamer, but other gamers have confirmed it.

A couple of things i noticed ,, maybe you can help...
1st - What launcher have you put in ? I want to modify it and not able to with Xposed Gel.
2nd - App drawer -- the apps you provided in the rom are right in the start and then they are followed by whatever apps i restored from Titanium Backup or installed from Play store. Is there a way to sort ALL the apps Alpahbetically ?
EDIT : Problem is solved. Downloaded GELauncher. Am now using it comfortably.... Even customisation to launcher is good.
Will revert later with more feedback

After the flashing and the phone boots up, reboot the phone once or the phone will have no mobile signal.
Certain CDMA SIM cards will be facing problems as it's still buggy.
ROM Tested on Mi4W/C and Mi3W with WCDMA, CDMA and TD SIM cards.
Note: Doesn't work on Mi4 CDMA 4G

It's very hard for me to lose data or backup and then restore everything so would be better if i could install over 5.0.2
Anyway waiting for your impressions because if it's buggy i can't install it.

That's the only thing that's stopping me from flashing it. I am afraid it will make much problems during calls, since i spend much time on the phone.
too bad Xposed Framework isn't working for L 5.1 , this ROM is still too "plain"

xposed wont be supporting android 5.1 soon , as the dev has stated that first he wants to build a stable verion for 5.02 then he will think of 5.1 so have to wait for some time

can you connect wifi from quick settings? for me,when i press a ssid in the quick settings list,the password textbox doesn't show up.

Hey Vikrant Bro. First of all let me congratulate to you and all your team for making such a fabulous custom ROM for Karbonn A1+. :good:
Few days before I flashed your ROM and tested it......
Everything Bluetooth, wireless working flawlessly. Graphics is awesome.
Status bar mod is just awesome......
However I had came across some limitations or Bugs which I would like to share with you to make it just perfect.
1. The biggest issue that I came across was with viewing Indian Languages in App like Messages, Whats app. Marathi, hindi words particularly the words which consist mixed phonetics like "Kartavya (कर्तव्य)", "Garv(गर्व)","special (स्पेशल)", "part (पार्ट)", "start(स्टार्ट)" are displaying terribly bad.
Here I must specify that I used "Google input tool" for Hindi and Marathi typing as my default keyboard.
Solutions I tried - I tried replacing system/fonts folder of this ROM with "Fonts" folder of stock ROM but the problem was unsolved.
Kindly throw some light on this issue. How it can be eliminated?
2. The Second issue that I came across was with "Contacts". As Karbonn A1+ is a dual sim phone so in stock ROM there was facility of selecting option for viewing "SIM 1" "SIM 2" and "Phone" Contacts independently or in combination via Contact>Display Options>Choose contacts to Display.
In your ROM this feature is missing which is badly needed. Kindly look to make it available again.
3. The third issue is also related with "Contacts". In stock ROM "contact" have one more function named "Contacts Delete" which when selected tend to show sub-options to delete "All Contacts", "Phone Contacts", "Sim 1 Card Contacts", "Sim 2 Contacts" all of which are having "Select all (i.e. Multi Select)" Feature. All of this is missing in custom ROM which is a MUST while deleting Multiple Contacts at a time.
4. Fourth and last issue is related with "Contacts" particularly with "Contacts Group" option (Which was present in Stock ROM) is present in custom ROM but crashes "Android.process.acore" when clicked on it. Another problem is with "Accounts". In your custom ROM there is no option of linking Play store Account, whats app Account with "Contacts" app so that contacts can be synchronized with Google Account.
Kindly let me know, if there are any alternative ways or methods to overcome aforementioned bugs.......

Well , this rom was ported from single sim htc device ... so you will get such issue's . Well my bad ..... There is no solution for the contacts & sim related problems . :crying:
About your language issue , try changing font to devnagri.ttf from google. :fingers-crossed:

I restored this rom using CWM on karbonn A1+.. when making calls the dialer is showing turn of Airplane mode before making call.. I have inserted SIM in SIM 2 slot as the Slot 1 on my phone is damaged. Help me to solve this issue

I think repair your device or use different ROM , because this rom was ported from single sim device . BADLUCK
