Can't save attachment to sd card - Galaxy S II Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

When trying to download files to my phone,
Im getting the message "Cant save attachment to SD card".
The funny thing is, when I take out my transcend sd card, the problem is solved.
Putting back the sd card, problem is back.
I'm running Omega v23.
Any ideas?

Formatted sd card. Problem solved at least for now.

I hosed my SD cards... internal and external.

I cannot view them on my XP workstation. They appear for a min and disappear. I might have accidentally formatted internal with CWM at some point. I restored to 198_7 in an attempt to fix but it did not fix. I would appreciate any help you guys got.
EDIT: after installing stock ROM I could only see one SD card with way too much space than I thought I had. I then installed AOKP and show two sd cards... only sd card is view able. internal EMMC does not work.

my "SD card" is unavailable? [View] (PROBLEM SOLVED DISREGARD)

I just went through the rooting process here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1881748
But when I get to the part where I have to flash the superuser zip file, my "SD card" is unavailable. It was my understanding that even if you don't have an SD card slot, you still have a section of memory that is considered to be the SD card. But for some reason, I think my SD card storage has been combined with the regular storage, so I can't flash the zip from boostrap because it says I don't have an SD card to do it from. Anyone have any ideas?
*EDIT* Sorry disregard this, I had no idea part of the backplate could be taken off an a micro SD card be put in.

Did u change anything? Kernel, Rom, Firmware version?
U can try to copy all data from sd card to PC, format it and then copy data back to sd card.
Maybe this will fix it. If not it seems to be a prob with sd card itself (Hardware)
CHEERS
yeah I had used many kernels ROMS .etc etc but reverted back everything to stock and unrooted

[Q] sd card- enlightments

Hi everyone,
something is not so clear to me- whem someone says:"sd card" of:"flash from sd card" does he refer to the internal or external sd card?
when I'm going to:"choose file from sd card" in the recovery, it opens my external sd card and every ROM I used was flashed from the external sd card and I never had problems.
Lately I noticed that every time I'm baching up my phone, I get a message in the recovery:"no ex-card found" and:"skipping on ex-card" or something..
I'm starting to think that I'm doing something wrong. Can anyone clarify this?
Thanks!

If your external sd card has guarentee, i recommend going to service. Other then that, you can try searching sd card formatting tools on google and try formatting it.
