I have an At&t sgh-i717 Galaxy note with the T-Moile 4.0.4 ROM and when I try to flash a JellyBean ROM with CWM I get Error and it doesn't install. Anyone know what the problem is?

Thanks this worked my recovery is now 6.0.1.8 but how can I make cm packages update my recovery? it worked on my old note 1.
I've buy my GNII in china and i have some issues when rooting it and install a french stock rom ( i'm from france ) no everything is ok i'm on a rooted stock rom (with CF auto-root) with stock kernel but i have to install CWM to flash a custom kernel
So my question is : what is the secure way for me to flash this CWM ? I think of flashing the odin version with odin mobile because all the flash i do with odin pc fail because of my locked bootloader i think

Here is the new one from today v6.0.1.9 for ODIN.
guys i think i messed up my mobile. I just flashed

I was on jelly bean 4.2.1 now when i start my phone it is stuck at samsung logo and is giving some sort of vibrating patterns. Guys i am scared as fu** please tell me what should I do?

you can flash through recovery but if' i we're you i'd do a stock rom install via odin. (if i ever get a bootloop, i start from fresh all over again)

wipe data/factory reset etc. and go for it!
I can't install any rom on the Samsung Galaxy Note SGH i717. I'm using TWRP v2.6.0.0 and I get an error "error excecuting updater binary in zip" I get this same message on every rom I try to flash. Does anyone know how to fix this?
I would suggest updating to the latest TWRP and trying again.

trying to flash CM12 for note 3 sprint (using hltespr) - did it once.... then tried other roms. During various rom flashes I used regionlock away 1.3
Now when I try to flash CM12 for my note 3 it says 'This package is for device: SM-N900P, hltespr; this device is hlte'
So it thinks device is the international note 3 (hlte) and not the sprint note 3 (hltespr). I tried to use 'relock' in eregionlock away 1.3 but to no avail.
any ideas ?

Are you using TWRP to flash? If so, did you install the TWRP version for hltespr? I know one time I was half asleep and flashed the hlte version of TWRP and it would not flash and hltespr ROMs because it thought I was using the hlte variant.

You could give the latest TWRP a shot. I ran Temasek's CM12 for many many months using it without a problem!

Yeah, you can flash it over CWM and then just reboot your recovery.

Well, Error 7 is basicly to protect you from flshing the wrong software (for ex. for wrong phone model), have you tried different cm based ROMs (cyanogen mod 14 by modpunk) if you cant install them either it's something wrong with your recovery. If you haven't try it yet, you may flash it again by odin.

I cant install Linoege OS for Samsung galaxy alpha it gives me the same error.

I meant to flash twrp in odin again, if this won't help you might try flashing official firmware and then custom recovery again.
