I have buy a S4 copy in aliepxress. The brand/factory is Meso, great phone with MTK6589, 1GB RAM, 720p screen (5 Inch), some motion and gesture availible and 1:1 copy, so we can used original back cover and batterie. I want know who in this big and great forum :laugh: have same phone like me (Meso, no HDC Legend).
So with coop, we can translate in our lanaguage (I'm french), beacuse like all chinese phone, not all in french/spanish/italian.... and we can do great ROM for have more RAM, batterie life, maybe fix some bug......

There are many people who are upset with this phone as it has many errors within the rom.

I've got blank screen on both
I guess there are differences on boot.img (Spark display is only 2-point touch, and Legend/S6 are 5-point. Maybe driver issue.
Benchmark is 13000-14000 have air gestur and smart pause, no smart scroll.....

I've bought the same phone and have the same problem.... and I'm already sending mine back to exchange for a proper MT6575 phone. I suspect the phone doesn't contain the MT6575 chip, is actually running on Gingerbread with an ICS theme, scored only 1800 in Antutu, etc.... I suggest you check yours, download Z-Device and see any inconsistency with the specs.
You might wanna take a look at this russian forum and their discussion on this phone...

I recently, by mistake bought a replica of Galaxy Nexus which run on a 1.2ghz Mediatek processor as per Antutu tester (it also show the manufacturer as Samsung and model name as Galaxy nexus ). Its a Dual SIM phone running 4.0.2 and also identifies SIM card and network but does not make calls ? Seems its country lock..how to unlock it? It also does not have Gapps installed in it? Forget about roms dude, you earned a chinese standard MTK procesor phone, so it does not deserve any effort to develope custom roms, so you only can root and maybe use some tweaks, I not beng rude against clones actually I bought four of this clones, I wanna sell some of those clones to earn the original One! (but obviously first will take a look in one of them). :good:

What do you mean by external USB camera?

I can only get it to glow for the stock sms app and calls.
No glow notifications for Whatsapp or Viber, or is there a hidden setting I haven't found?

I think samsung covers arent compatible with third party apps notifications,not sure...

I have a Sony Xperia Z3+ and like it for the most part but it doesnt have fast charging and the battery is not all day, Many reviews say that the battery will last all day on the A5 2017, since I get it tonight I will set it up and test tomorrow and see.
I know its a step down from an s7 but its only a short step from what I see on the reviews.
At half the price new ( 329 here in USA) it seems like a bargain

I already set automatic date and time but each time the phone shutdown and later powered on it will be asking to set the date and time automatically again

I got marshmallow on my S5 mini now and it works so much better but I think I might like to save for a new phone and I need something in a similar size and form-factor. The A3 2017 is way better, first you will get a bigger screen ( 4.7") compared to the 4.5" found on the S5 mini, you get a 13mp camera vs 8mp on your current device, 0.5GB more RAM and way better Soc ( Exynos 7870 octa ), also the A3 2017 have a bigger battery (2350mah) compared to the smaller 2100mah found on the S5 mini.
Software wise you have the latest grace ux on the A3, which is lighter, faster and more beautiful,with AOD support like on the S7 edge.

I have searched for this device for 3 or 4 months ago and hesitate to replace it with my tab s3 cuz it is in dark scenes is too stupid and i didnt see the full details and there is a black border in up and down of the screen cuz of its dimensions and every minute give me a message with certain app stop working and there is no updates even 1 update in the whole year and there are some apps dont compatible with the tablet and according to m5 i heared that there is a problem when turn on bluetooth and wifi together cuz there are work by the same antenna and i heared too that this device dont play hd or 4k videos in streaming apps amd other problems i dont remember so is it worth to replace it or not ?? And these problems in m5 has been solved or not ?? I am sorry for the long post but i really hesitate and want to get rid of my tab s3 .. Thanks alot

I've tried to reinstall, modify battery settings but nothing works...
