it will work on sola, but the phone model will show up as ST25(Xperia U) in the 1st line below EnergyStar logo.

Permission change? Use root explorer mount /system/media as "R/W" Copy bootanimation.zip then paste...
works great , although the x seems slightly deviated to the right
Works great on neo v
Fits like a glove on Xperia arc S.
Used Root Explorer to move the .zip over to the correct folder,
had no problems at all.

I just got this bootanimation from another Xperia Phone(I don't remember the phone )
So, the original one isn't work for our device. I just converted it for our device. Almost ported.

Last night I discovered how to modify the Wallpapers of the DefaultThemes app (Duh, was so simple!) so I made these Themes, I'm sharing them ... Hope you like it!
Note: I am not expert on this and I think it shows
Just put it in /system/app with rw-r-r- permissions, and reboot if necessary
