It's cool that basically every mod for the Arc works on the Ray too.
I wonder why the Ray still hasn't gotten real support while the Arc has all sorts of cool stuff for it. They are basically the same phone, the only difference I can think of is the front camera in the Ray and automatic led flash on the Arc (and of course the Arc is bigger but the screen resolution is the same).

Roms surely won't work, but modifications to the interface and things that don't use system features will probably work, as proven by this thread.

Did you try everything?
Because eg the boot animations, they even have to be adapted from the Arc to work on the Ray and you are linking Samsung ones..
I use these: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1397606

You linked the files in the wrong order, but I flashed the overscroll apk first. Now I can no longer boot to MIUI... It stays at the FreeXperia screen. Any ideas on how to fix it? Thanks.

No sorry all worked for me may have to flash rom over the top you won't lose anything
sent from my gorgeus Xperia Ray
The order is wrong though. In the first post you have
"flash [miuisettings.apk link] first
install [overscroll.zip link=] after"
So I think you probably have it backwards. Also, after I flashed overclock.zip, flashed miui1230.zip, and installed the miuisettings.apk, that miuisettings app doesn't work.

hello there,
I just trying with different roms out there and have decided to go to stock 4.0.4 with fully modded apps. I just want to know what is the app for this led settings?
i45.tinypic.com/166jgcz.png
I have installed it before but its seems that i can't find it anywhere. I already installed the mods but it seems that i can't find it. The LED settings doesn't display.
I just want to ask if someone have those settings, what apps/mod is that? Maybe its conflict with the other mods I used.
Mods/Apps Installed (stock 4.0.4)
Walkman for ICS U4 with Beats port by ThilinaC
XSIncredibleBass#3.1
All Custom Xperia MDPI by Lasan
Tweaked Xperia S Home Launcher v2
Official Xperia S app from ICS
Thanks in advance

Those mod from lasan is to fixed led bug on ICS Rom....lasan have already told everyone that his mod also have a bug and he have gave a solution to it....
just download the number 8 mod (All In One) by lasan HERE....then download two more (Update No LED Setting : LED Work and Fix ScreenShot) and flash it using CWM continuously...that should fixed everything.....

Then you probably overwrote the Settings.apk file with some other mod, or you're using some older version of mod which didnt include the LED options. Try installing the mod again and LED options should reappear.
Well, I have reinstalled lasan's mod without flashing the "update no led settings:" then suddenly the LED settings appear, strange . It don't know what is seems the problem but i am glad that it is now fixed.
Thanks a lot for your replies...

Story:
Actually this is the next version of "NXT Fusion Pack" but this time I've tried to make it more dedicated to stock features of Xperia Go than modded ones of Xperia S. So it's lighter and more natural & I call it "NXT Pure". Together with NXT Fusion these packages give you the chance to choose what you need.
Features:
Xperia Go Home, Widgets & Live Wallpapers
Xperia Go Boot Animation, Fonts and All medias including ringtones, notifications, etc.
Xperia Go Phone, Contacts, Call Screen, Messaging, Email
Xperia Go Clock, Calendar, Calculator, Dlna, Update Center, Compass, Walkmate
Xperia Go Music Player with Full Equalizer, ClearBass, Headphone Surround & Edit music info support
Xperia S Browser
Notification drawer quick panel with brightness slider and notification swipe gesture
etc.
Downloads:
NXT Pure

Instruction:
Simply flash via CWM recovery.
Disclaimer:
It's always a good idea to make a nandriod backup. I'm not responsible if you lose any of your data or damage your phone by flashing these files.

any how good job
does this mod support stock GB? Is there any additional battery consumption?I posted the same question on your other thread cause I didn't notice this sorry . Hope this will work Nice thread by the way
I've been a fan of your NXT Fusion and I will definitely try this.
I just thought it will be a new stable ROM with all Xperia Go system files included.
Btw is it possible to disable QuickPanel Settings with brightness or just leave QuickPanel.
The brightness slider doesn't look good in NXT Fusion, IMO.
Great job. Thanks'ed.
hi you, thanks for your great work
I found somethings are not right
1. phone keypad interface is transparented
2. keyboard fc when I click in user dictionary
edit :
1. I go back to use phonebook.apk from nxt fusion (temporary)
2. I copy libXT9engine.so (/system/lib) and userdictionaryprovider.apk (/system/app/) from xperia go system dump and everything works, thanks
I tried NXT Pure last night and I noticed that the music player is buggy so I went back to NXT Fusion and Poweramp combo
Thanks anyway.
The power menu is buggy with this mod. No cw.

1. It's likely due to a modded theme. on stock GB with stock themes there's no such an issue.
2. you're right but I get FC when hit My Words not User Dictionary. I'll add the fix to first post soon.

you need to copy ContactsImport.apk, Phonebook.apk & SmartSearch.apk too. If you use modded themes try to revert back to stock. I'll add a flashable zip for stock themes asap.

Hi Guys,
I have Superuser app installed and working.
I am wondering if it is possible to pick a Lockscreen app apk from a Custom Rom and replace it in my phone (Copy+Paste).
Will it work as easily like eating a butter ?

It can work, but I think it wouldn't because of different frameworks. Just use a custom rom for your device that offers the style you like or simply try go locker or similar apps from playstore

Just curious, What do you mean by different frameworks ? Do you mean different versions like ICS, JB versions ?

No, the framework is for the "look" of your phone and some basic things. For example there's the sony framework and the stock android framework and that's for example the reason why you can't use some stock sony system apps (or the home.apk) on cyanogenmod
System apps cannot be installed by regular method, because they do not include any signatures (apk files are not signed), thereby Android refuses to install due to security reasons.

Hi gyus,
