Let me start from the beginning. I have a Galaxy S III, Sprint, which as I know for a fact supports the low energy bluetooth (BT 4.0). I recently installed the [ROM][AOSP][Linaro]CarbonRom Nightlies/Releases [d2spr] but the stable release ( or most stable). After I installed the rom the BT 4.0 won't work anymore. I know the hardware supports because I used it before. I've been using it with the FITBIT Flex fitness bracelet. My question is because the hardware supports it, is there anything I can flash that will allow the rom to utilize the BT 4.0 software, with this ROM in particular?
Any help would be much appreciated! Otherwise I'll keep syncing it with my PC when I get home everyday.
Thanks in advance,
Your fellow mobile enthusiast.

Hello All,
I've heard from many sources (also official) about BLE availability on Android 4.3 (from software side) for Samsung S3, so just after last update of my phone I've just bought Sigma R1 HRM but... it doesn't work on ANY (I've tried five different) 4.3 ROM. Only CM ROM (4.3.1) could pair properly with this HRM. So this functionality was included in 4.3 or not? Maybe someone could help to pair BLE accessories with SGS3 4.3?
What's more interesting. my girlfriend's Xperia V could pair with Sigma on Android 4.1.2!!! I don't know how it is possible if it is one of key feature 4.3?
P.S. Just for info: Endomondo on Android cannot handle BT Smart, it is not connected with android version.
Hello!
Device:
Moto G 2nd Gen XT1068
OS:
Lollipop 5.0.2 retaildsdsall reteu
To the point...
My vehicle recently connected perfectly to SE Xperia Mini Pro (wifi tethering). Apparently it had 2.3.3 gingerbread firmware. Till now it has been like 5 years and phones have improved. For some reason my car's navigation MZD Connect doesn't get it and communication with a local dealer ended with: "It is not possible in Finland", which is certainly bullcrap.
My Moto G is rooted, so is there any way to change wifi tethering configuration files to make Moto G Lollipop act like GB.
Looking forward to replies...
Best regards,
Mario
Any thoughts?
The development of MZD Connect is so slow and apparently they do not even have a bug tracker. I don't think they will fix it this year or next. I wish I could do something myself to improve my situation.

Judging by what you're saying it shows, you are compatible, Android Wear is compatible with 4.3 and above. However if your phone only has Bluetooth 3.0 support and not 4.0LE you'll see some battery drain outside the normal amount specified by both users of the device and the manufacturer. This is because 4.0LE maintains a link with the device without actively being connected to it causing it to use less power to communicate, 3.0 lacks this ability so your phone would need to keep an active link with the watch at all times.
That being said, don't let that discourage you from getting it, your phone is completely compatible as it is now and should give you an alright experience with the device. I personally love my LG G Watch and feel that it's the best purchase I've made in a long time.

Hi everyone,
I own a Huawei Watch and had a OnePlus One for about a year. Installed system was Cyanogenmod 12.1. Everything worked fine but I wanted a new phone so I sold it and bought a Moto X yesterday. The first thing I did, as usual, was to set up the system. A problem with pairing to my Wearable came up, several times I tried to pair and finaly it worked. The watch set up and I wanted to install a few apps through the android wear app. But then the bluetooth connection dropped suddenly.
Switching off bluetooth and on didn't solve the problem. so I had to restart the phone. after that the connection worked.....for approx. 5 min.....then it drops.
On the internet I read much about bluetooth problems on Moto X devices all over the world.
So, I have to retour the device to the shop where I bought it. I need another device, the OnePlus X is a really sexy looking thing, so please help me. How is the connection on that device? Can anybody tell something about that issue, maybe flashing of cyanogenmod helps?
thx
Nobody cm on that device?
Hi,
I was having bluetooth problem (drop, disconnecting) with my previous phone (THL2015).
I bought the OPX and i have no more bluetooth problem (with stock rom and now with CM 12.1)
It work very well with CM 12.1 (very fast and smooth) and the OPX has a nice design (so sexy )
