Installation instructions:
Before anything else, BACKUP your existing DATA. I will not be held responsible for lost data. You have been warned.
1. Simply download the zip file
2. Open and install using CWM or TWRP
3. During install you will have the option to install also "Repartition"
4. If you choose "Repartition" your data will be FORMATTED and WIPED. However, after installation, go back to the recovery screen and wipe data again if you want to be sure.
5. After FIRST BOOT, open the launcher, search for "Xposed Installer", click on it to open.
6. Simply click on "Install/Update" to set up the Xposed Framework (Grant it root access)
7. After installing the Xposed Framework, don't reboot yet. Click on the "Modules" tab.
8. Put a check on GravityBox then click on GravityBox
9. Gravity Box is a set of tools/tweaks for the MT6589 chipset for added features. You may customize your own, but here is my personal configuration:

Statusbar Tweaks:
Statusbar QuickSettings tiles - checked all
Battery indicator style - circle battery with percentage
Auto-hide signal icons - check all

!!!Note: Please don't give negative comments about the rom not showing anything new or special compared to other roms. Again, I focused on performance and stability. Also, you may think that the tweaks here are only the xposed framework and gravitybox, there are others under the hood that have been customized and checked for the A919i.

A clean looking rom downloading :good::highfive:
Edit: Aroma installer works n feels great..
A very good rom without much modifications.. gives pure android experience
Also the front camera is not working with existing rom but a fix is provided on original post plz include the link in op for others

Yeah finally a real 4.2.2 rom for our CanvasHD. Regarding GPS i am not facing any issue.
After using the ROM for about teo days i have found this rom to be the best till date. Camera quality is great especially video recording. Battery lifr is superb in this, with a very heavy usage it lasts 1 and half day. Only thing i didn't liked was the buttons in dialer which were not looking clean so installed contacts+ which is really very cool with many superb features. Overall the rom is excellent in every aspect. Try it and figure the same yourself.

Yeah even i noticed this but i don't think it affects the battery life in any manner. I am getting really good battery backup.

Hi,
I think the licenses are tied to the Gmail ID rather than the Device ID.
When we switch the devices, the app is still available in the playstore for download (without paying offcourse).

Update: Just flashed this ROM. Its awesome. The additional settings made it very very smooth. Just wondering why you left in a bunch of Korean looking apps, widgets in there?
The transition was smooth. I have Titanium Pro and used the feature to backup apps + data to an "Update.zip". After completing the flash, I ran flashed this zip via TWRP as well. I am up and running in under 10 mins.

The problem is one of those is integrated to messaging app and i dont know which so didnt remove any.

I froze all those [Korean] apps on Titanium. No adverse effect on any other app yet.
BTW Titanium allows me to retain the device ID. A changed device id does not impact my Play store purchases but seems to play havoc with Lotus Traveler.

UPDATE: The ISO setting is the culprit. If you manually set the ISO to an appropriate setting, the image can be seen. It seems that the default (ISO) is set an extremely low value causing the captured image to become black.

wiped factory reset
wiped cache

Q1.How to enable ROOT ?
Ans. SuperUser app has been included for controlling the root permissions.
Q2. Mobile Data ( 3G OR 2G) not working what to do ?
Ans. Just disable your mobile data first from the settings , then restart your phone , after restarting check your apn settings and complete them , then enable mobile data and it will start working.
Q3. Xposed does not works on the ROM.
Ans. MIUI does not supports Xposed instead of that you can use WSM Tools.
By using WSM Tools you can use the Xposed modules which are supported by WSM Tools.
Q4. Unable to download apps from the Play Store and large files when using mobile data ?
Ans.First open the Downloads app present on the home screen, go into its settings.
Change the download limit to unlimited and also disable Xunlie Download Engine . Now try downloading apps from the play store it should work and also you will be able to download large files.
Q5. How to move apps to SD-Card ?
Ans. Moving apps to sd does not works on MIUI.
Q6. How to Turn ON flash light from Lock Screen ?
Ans.The lock screen on the MIUI v6 or v5 had a few extra functions than the standard unlocking and shortcuts. One of them is turning flashlight On directly from the lock screen. For that, while the screen is active but locked, you just need to long press the home button and the torch / flashlight turns on. It would not turn off until you prompt it although the screen would go blank in a few seconds.
Q7.How to Change the look of Multitasking / Recent Menu ?
Ans.By default, when you press the Recent key (the left bottom one), the recent apps show up, and it is just the App icon that is seen. But, you can make it look like the iOS multitasking screen where large thumbnails are shown, with the preview of what is going on in the app. You can change that by “pinching out on the empty area in the multitasking screen”. Pinching in / out is what changes the look, basically.
Q8.How to Enable or Change Notification Light Color ?
Ans.There is an option that allows you to change the change the notification light as well as turn it off completely. To do that you have to go to Additional Settings section, and tap on notification light. There you would find four option, first would allow you to switch ON or OFF the Pulse Notification light while other options allow you to change colors for notifications, calls, as well as messages. You can choose only 2 colors ( GREEN OR RED ), which will appear in the LED present just below the home button.
Q9.Facebook Messenger pop-up head does not appears , what to do ?
Ans.Go to Security icon on the homscreen > Permissions > Again Permissions > Open Messenger > Enable Display pop-up window.
You can follow the same method for other apps as well which have the feature of pop-up head notification.

As this is the latest version i think there should be some performance increment,
as MIUI ROMs are quite heavy, they need much more RAM and Storage to operate.
the only thing i want to ask is that, Is there any camera improvement in this ROM? because the V5 has good camera but when I used V6 by Junaid Butt the camera experience was very worst compared to V5.
Hope U have did your best and as this is a beta version there will be patches in future to make ROM better than best.

Performance has improved from the previous versions.
Camera remains a little downside of the rom because of the kitkat kernel.
Let me correct you my friend that Junaid is no developer , he has just posted the work Lino for MyPhone A919i.
He is just a noob , he copied some elements and lines from my original MIUI thread.
I dont understand that why is he posting the rom without permission of the developer , if the dev wants he can post it by himself.
I will report against his thread.

Working great bro but the brightness needs to be increased to highest.. Boot animation shows constant white symbol it doesn't convert to orange..and in notification drawer it shows no service in place of name of netwrk operator..rest is awesome.. Keep it up..and camera isn't much clear..:thumbup::thumbup:

Boot Animation is changed by MIUI Team , so i wont change it.
Operator name is not being displayed and in place of that no service is being shown , i will fix it up soon :angel:
Try some games on it and post a review.
Bro system ui stopped sudddenly when I enter the file manager..and remains constantly.. And goes only after reboot..

u cn flash the update of flip cover by lava if u want or u cn use third party apps too
for keyboard go to language and input then select the stock keyboard and then u cn flash android l key board again no problem
