when use any pen mode such as pencil or ballpen, very sslowly draw a straight line, the line will not straight,it will be ramdom Irregular Curve
but when you faster draw a straight will be fine.
Is it only my ZU like that? or everyone the same ?
Please try and tell.

Ok, probably not. There's gotta be a perfectly valid explanation, but I just noticed this:
When I open Albums on my Hero and look at a single photograph, I can zoom in and out by pinching. Same goes for web pages. We all know this.
But the thing is: if I put my phone down on the table and try to pinch with just one hand (thumb+index finger), it doesn't work!
I only need to touch the phone with one finger on my left hand and it starts working. I have to touch the back or the frame. The chin doesn't react.
I tried it on an iPhone and it works with only one hand. It must be some conductivity issue and the Hero simply has a touch screen that works differently from iPhones.
It isn't really a problem for me: I can hold the phone in both hands while pinching. I just found it slightly interesting...
Yeah I have noticed that as well. Although if you try to calibrate using the g-sensor calibration tool it sometime fixes the issue...
Clue is in the technology? Capacitative touch screen....hit the physics books guys
A good capacitive screen doesn't require the user to complete a circuit with the phone using another hand to hold it, or by touching the bezel with a finger. The problem is either in the circuitry driving the touchscreen or possibly with the algorithms used to establish finger gestures and position.
It's even feasible that the metal bezel interferes with the electrostatic field introduced when your finger is in proximity with the screen. This would explain why the sensitivity is reduced around the edges of the screen.
Spose you need to form a complete circuit for it to work. Interesting point though, I didn't know that capacitive screens needed a second 'plate' to work (i.e. more than just the screen alone).
Makes sense though if you think about it.

The metal bezel actually acts like a ground point between the capacitive circuitry and your finger. When you are touching at the very edges of the capacitive area there simply isn't enough room to get a good grounding point so the driver/controller gets a hard time of locating what points are actually grounded. The bezel helps in this regard.

...perhaps not then lol
Yeah, well I hate to be the one to ask, but why does it work on the iPhone then? I realize it's a grounding / closed circuit issue, but if another similar phone can do it, then there's obviously a way around it.
And another question: Why doesn't pinching work, but normal one-fingered touching does?
Only place where I could see this becoming a problem is when you dock your device to some plastic holder in a car and want to pinch to zoom in some navigator software. Letting go of the steering wheel to use two hands on your phone isn't necessarily the safest thing in the world. One would assume though, that the interface in any navigator software wouldn't require complex gestures while operating it...
i confrim, using hero without touch the metal edge result in less responsivity and difficult on multitouch operation
hope new firmware can solve this, too many errors using it like a normal keyboard on a table!
problem: certain area of the touchscreen jumps when pressed. In my case it's over s and z of the keyboard in vertical mode.. effectively preventing me from typing s or z.
possible cause: that's exactly the area that I use to scroll. so it's definitely a high usage area.
quick research: humidity can cause screen to do weird things like that.
quick solution: wrapped the phone without battery in plastic wrap and dumped it into a container used to hold dried almonds along with 2 packs of those humidity absorbers that you aren't suppose to eat.
well. wish me luck
Does it only happen when using keyboard?
maybe try a different one?

Anyone use one of these for the note 12.2?
All positive reviews on amazon. I'm interested to see if it's stable with the tablet in portrait mode. I'm not sure if the extra length/height of the Note 12.2 would cause it to topple.
From the looks of that stand, I would say that as soon as you put your finger on your tablet it will fall over. I say that because on my tablet you have to touch pretty hard to turn off the tablet. First a push on the start button on top (which would be on the side for portrait mode) that would push the tablet off the stand. If that didn't do it then you have two more hard touches on the screen to actually turn off the tablet. Have any of those reviews been from a owner of this tablet?

I took a chance on this and it's great little stand. I don't think anything beats it for portability.
I used it all day today as a second screen with no issues. In the top angle (I guess 85 degrees) I can flick through the menus and put the tablet into usb tethering mode with no issue at all. In general I am using my laptop's keyboard but it's fine for flicking through pages in moonreader. It does wobble slightly when you press the screen but no chance of falling. With regard to turning the screen on and off I hold the other side when I press the button .

Looks like it must be . In the screenshot that looks to be the 3rd angle. I just tried it and while it does hold at this angle its not perfectly stable. If you press the top of the tablet hard it would topple. Above this it is fine. Any angle lower than this and it just topples backwards!
Now I need to find a lighter case or cover as I just need to protect the screen. Is there anything like the official apple smart cover for the note 12.2. i.e no back just a cover for the front?

The best stand I found were these wire stands, super inexpensive and you get two for $6 and free shipping:
http://www.amazon.com/Gibson-Holder...ytECoiL&dpSrc=sims&preST=_AC_UL160_SR107,160_
I like the three wire for the note pro since it helps better support it in portrait mode, they're super stiff and somewhat annoying to adjust, because of that they more than hold up to you writing on them and they fold up rather flat too.
A close second, though only really good for viewing and nothing else (like for watching movies or using it with a keyboard and mouse):
http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0...2OM3ZNBISH60M&psc=1&ref_=wl_it_dp_o_pC_nS_ttl
I got one of those with my Jelly Comb light up keyboard (amazing keyboard for great price), and was amazed by it, folds extremely flat, great size and enough positions to satisfy my needs. It's more expensive and you only get one, but you do have a few color options for $8 and prime eligible.
I use this one, http://a.co/cBoBUZ3 , TechMatte Multi-Angle Aluminum Holder, and it works great in both portrait and landscape mode - stable in portrait mode. I like it because you can fix the angle in 15 degree increments, and once locked it stays in that position.
Hello, I'm using the samsung 8pi stylus (ET-S200EBEG), that is quite popular on these forums. It works great, for the most part, no issues with offset or anything, however sometimes when writing a straight line will look jittery and squiggly. I have heard that this may be from the pen losing connection for a brief instant. It's not overtly terrible but definitely no where near as good as the default stylus. It's most apparent when trying to write certain letters such as a capital E, the lines wont be straight but instead will look quite jittery. Has anyone else experienced this problem or know of a solution? Thank you!
I've never personally experienced issues with the two I have, but you could try popping off the button with a razor blade, under it there are two flat head slots, those are potentiometers. With the pen tip facing left use a flat head or a razor to turn the left one, I don't know what the right one does. The left one controls sensitivity, so if you turn it to the left (counter clockwise) you increase its sensitivity, and the opposite, clockwise. Hope that helps. I'd recommend trying to increase it first.

I have explained the issue in the screenshot below.
This happens only in portrait position, landscape position works fine.
I see it definitely has to do with palm rejection, because if I take my palm off then it writes.
So for every new line, I have to either slide my palm without lifting it OR lift off my palm and put one dot on the left edge, then rest the palm again and start writing (which feels quite unnatural).
Do any of you face this issue?
I just want to know if I am the only one and whether I need to goto xiaomi center, or if it is a software issue that everyone is having.
I even factory reset the tab, and the issue is still happening.
Please let me know,
Thanks.
An update: I noticed this happening on only horizontal surfaces like beds, couches, tables etc. when the tab is placed flat on it. If I tilt the tab and hand-hold it then it seems to write in portrait position fine.
I sometimes have this on my non-pro pad 5 too.
M also facing the same issue.

I bought a 2 finger drawing glove, and this issue does not happen when I use the pen with the glove on.
This issue must have something to do with palm rejection, so wearing the glove removes the issue.
But it is still inconvenient to wear the glove everytime I want to use the tab in portrait position flat on my bed or table.
