Can this be done? - Verizon Samsung Galaxy Note II

So I have an idea. Is it at all possible to port clean ROM for the HTC droid DNA to the galaxy note 2? I had the DNA and loved it. Except for no SD slot and non removable battery. And I love HTC sense, and I would really love to run sense on my note 2. Is this even possible? Thanks guys!

Sense is close sourced so very hard to port and hasn't been done.

Yeah I figured that, I think it would be an awesome ROM to run on a note2 though. Or anything other than an HTC phone lol. Oh well I'm gonna do some research and experimenting and see what I can come up with. I'm determined! Lol

Can we have it!!

Can we have Sense 4 ported to our S 3 . There is already a really buggy build for the international version. A genius should really try porting it for US Variants. It would be awesome. What do you guys think?

Return you S3, delete your xda account and then buy an iPhone. I heard that's the only way to get sense 4.

If you didn't have the Note or Note 2, what phone would you most likely be using now?

For me, I think Samsung Galaxy S III hands down. Runner up would be the HTC One X. That's also a very good looking phone.

Reminds me of a time before these nice android tablets, I got a Samsung Q1 Ultra and hated windows and linux on it, so I ported Android-x86 donut to it.
Just a little after that the Streak came out and I felt like I wasted my time and money.
I had an AT&T HTC One X, but I got it early and I kept getting emails from people saying that they tried calling me but I never got the calls.
I returned it and got the Note.
I would probably also be on an sgs3.
HTC one x.which I have... tried the s3. Didn't impress me at all.. still waiting for my perfect phone. If the one x had a SD slot and a battery u can swap out. That would be my perfect phone.

We get it from HTC and they won't release it for 90 days. There is still a possibility that even if we get it it may not run correctly on the thunderbolt. We will see though.

The thunderbolt is the first phone on Verizon that has svdo which let's you talk and surf the internet at the same time even on 3g data. HTC and Verizon have both been protecting this technology by keeping sources closed indefinitely on the radio software for one. Since a lot of the sources are closed devs don't have interest in finding hacks and workarounds to deal with the lack of source. That's why a lot of the devs left this device. Even still though we have official ics and in a few months we should have the sources we need to build custom kernels that are needed for making a jb from.
Sent from my ADR6400L using Tapatalk 2
Yeah I can understand the frustration from the devs. If we get it I'll enjoy it, if not then oh well not a big deal in my book. Still a good enough phone for my broke budget right now either way

Sent from my HTC_Amaze_4G using xda app-developers app
Id look at the development community. OTG on the DNA solves the external sdcard issue in my opinion because you can just plug up a flash drive or hard drive.
If it was me making the decision, I'd go with the dev community I felt best about and was in tune with. I gave 700 for my DNA so I could have bought about anything, and I chose the DNA and am VERY happy with it. Several of my good friends are developing for it.

Boys. I am part of Team Hydra but I release projects of my own with TH works as a base and tweak my own builds. Those are what you are referring to.
As far as a full TW port.. Its definitely possible but I sure won't spend anytime to do it for reasons I wont get into here.
IMHO if you want the Sammy look.. then spend the cash and get one.
It ain't that great, either. I found the TouchWiz launcher via Google, and deleted it after about 10 minutes. Not for me.
