Which will be the Best Micro SD card for MMX A116 HD.
I was looking for 32gb Class 10 Micro SD for MMX a116 but the device support maximum upto 32gb so i was confused weather it will work properly or no.
Basic use for apps and games of microsd for me.

I am currently using sandisk ultra 16gb but i think 32 gb card will also work. Many user are currently using it. And you can always check for sandisk compatibility from http://pct1.sandisk.com/NewSearch.aspx

i am currently using sandisk class10 32 gb mem car
its running smoothly...
my phone is not rooted...android 4.2.1(stock)
games that i installed in my phone right now
nfs mw = 2.36 gb
gta 3 = 1.23
spiderman = 1.5approx
PES = 500mb
six guns = 1gb approx
dungeon hunter = 1gb
So get 32gb class10 sandisk...no issues at all... RUNNING GAMES WITHOUT LAG...PHONE is also running smoothly :good::good:
Guys...i do not really play games on my android...hence want to know what should be the ideal class for the memory card i should prefer for optimal performace?

As you will be only using it in general , i think a class 6 would b great. It can easily capture hd videos

I'm using it with my Canvas HD without any problems what so ever.
Im using class 10 32 GB Transcend SD card. The read and write speed of all media files is really good compared to the class4 card we get everywhere in the shops. U should definitely get a class 10 32 GB card for your canvas HD if you want to use your phone to its full potential. Although only 29.5 GB is available for the user out of 32GB.
All games and applications running flawlessly.

-Is ur memory card swapped ?. .
if not then this is the problem of ur internal storage. .
Cure:
-use SD Booster app for better performance. .
-swap ur int-ext memory

The phone supports upto 32 GB. It should work. I've seen many devices running with their maximum capacity.
I don't test it, but it must work. The LG is ready for 32 gb micro SD.

It should work perfectly fine. Mine is 16 gb sandisk class 4 and it flies with 1gb ext4 partition. Don't see the difference in speed from 2gb to 8gb and then to 16gb. Everything works fine. I would suggest sandisk class 4.

Go to ebay.in to find out more. And buy from menorycardsindia. Its the name of the best dealer.

Well, i will be buying LG OO + 8 GB class 10 card. But i think, that 32 GB card shouldn!t be a problem. There is no HW barrier that should restrict of using these-sized cards.
I currently have a 8gb class2 sdcard in my ace.. If i was to change this to an 8gb class10 or 16gb class10 would this speed up my phone..

Yes. Higher d class, faster d speed. Even im using an 8gb class 2 sd card with SD speed booster app.

It depends what you mean by faster, rom is on the phone so wont be effected. Read speed of things like gallery will.

Ur rite. But if ur moving ur Dalvik cache 2 SD, den u would need a faster memory(probably higher den class 2) coz class 2 doesn't deliver same speed as class 10.
After u move ur apps2sd card class 2 takes a little longer time 2 open compared 2 class 10 coz class 10 has more read/write speed.

Yup, especially if you move your apps to SD, just to mention the fact that card class means the speed of read/write, so class 2 is around 2Mb per second, and class 10 would logically have around 10 megs which is 5 times faster broadband.
But if you use your SD only for photos, videos and music, than it won't help a lot.

If you don't have any apps on your SD (via app2sd or CM7) than no, you can speed up boot through sripts like JIT (integrated into CM).

I bought a Silicon power 8gb class 4 and i had the same problem.
Now I ordered a samsung 32 gb class 10, waiting for delivery.
Which sd do you have? Some one had my same problem???

Seems there is problem with the hardware of your ace. Maybe the card reader inside the phone. Get it checked.

I use a Samsung 16 GB Class 6 SD card (who knew samsung makes Sd cards ).
I specifically bought it for better write speeds for my apps shifted to SD by apps2sd.

P.S-my phone uses a 2gb sd card if i use an sd card with larger memory than this will it decrease lag coz my phone lags a little with 2gb.

SDHC cards are fine. I use a 16GB, class 10 myself but SDXC are a different ballgame altogether. Don't think SDXC cards are compatible with our phone...

the sd u get with phone is class 4 and is slow .
SDHC are compatible, itherwise how would anyone use 32gb card (they are SDHC)
Get a class 10 8gb sdhc and it will lag less than 2 gb class 4
Check what class u have

I've got no problems with a class 10 SD card as well. Mine is also supporting UHS-I standard, so it's even faster. I recommend buying the fastest SD card that's working with the device to avoid lags in apps / games you moved to the SD card.

got a class 6 with a 2gb ext 4 partition so i link apps with link2sd rather than just move to sd better performance i think, would go for class 10 when i got the cash or whichever is fastest and supported
