Based on official german AMG4 from sammobile.com
Android Version: 4.1.2
Baseband: I8190XXAMG4
Build: I8190XXAMG4
All stock apps are untouched, only su and supersu are added. No Recovery included, so no change on your installed recovery.
No warranty for anything, but it works like a charm on my S3 mini. Good luck and have fun.
HowtoDo:
-unzip I8190XXAMG4_I8190OXAAMG4_DBT_PreRooted.zip
-Open Odin
-click on PDA
-choose the rooted.tar
-click start
-wait ... drink tee, coffee or beer
(maybe a wipe is required before flashing, I did it)

Both files are ok. Maybe your download was currupted? Or Winrar has problems with the Zip Files, they were created with 7zip, so maybe you test this instead of Winrar.

Ok, i tried it with these files by myself and its working great, tnx.
Used 7zip for extraction.
Can't wait to see battery duration now...

I extracted with 7zip no problem, but with winrar or powerarchiver error crc..
soon i try flash this firmware.. thx Suppe123 :good:
Good to know that Winrar or powerarchiver has problems...

Hey, i love this rom, waaaay faster phone now, stable, battery is great.
BUT i just realised it is MG4 and all other say MG1 is the latest. What's the deal with that? Please explain....
And i know its from german official update, but just want to know is there any difference or what?!?

isn't Corrupt
You must Join that files 1st using another software. ex: FJS Program
Search on Google ... "File Joiner Spliter"
than, you can extract that files using WinRAR
...the easiest way is to flash via CWM. It is available here on xda.

Problem: we keep settings at GSM only. But at every restart it changes to WCDMA preferred forcing we on 3G network auto.since We applied the official ics upgrade it has been there.
Fix:
1-How to use Baksmali_Smali.exe ( you need know this)
2-Extract your classes.dex file from framework.jar
3-Go to framework\smali\com\android\internal\telephony\
4-Copy new file into telephony folder
For Odex-ed ROMs go to http://code.google.com/p/smali/wiki/DeodexInstructions
Now, 2g/3g network fixed

can this be done by some patch using recovery? If it is possible can some one do that? My knoolage about this is too small
I prepared a small tutorial (WIN7+ST15i)
0. !!! DO NANDROID BACKUP !!!
1. Install latest Java on your PC
2. Download from here "RIL.rar", extract "RIL.smali" and copy somwhere on hard disk
3. Download from somwhere "Smali-Me" tool
4. Extract on local harddisk (eg c:\Smali-Me-1.0)
5. Find on your phone /system/framework/framework.jar
6. Copy "framework.jar" somwhere to your harddisk
7. Extract (winrar, TC, winzip) from "framework.jar" file "classes.dex"
8. Copy "classes.dex" to \Smali-Me-1.0\
9. Run baksmali.bat (as administrator)
10. Go to \Smali-Me-1.0\Decompiled\com\android\internal\telephony\
11. Copy/Replace downloaded and extracted "RIL.smali" (step 2) into \Smali-Me-1.0\Decompiled\com\android\internal\telephony\
12. Copy all files from \Smali-Me-1.0\Decompiled\ to \Smali-Me-1.0\Smali-Me\
13. Run "smali.bat" (as administrator)
14. Delete old "classes.dex" from \Smali-Me-1.0\
15. Rename "modded-classes.dex" to "classes.dex" in \Smali-Me-1.0\
16. Add/replace (winrar, TC, winzip) new "classes.dex" into "framework.jar" which is somwhere on your harddisk (step 6)
17. Copy/replace new "framework.jar" into your phone directory /system/framework/
18. Reboot&enjoy

Yes,surerly you can make flashable zip for .13 firmware... i am using 13 firmware but with all mods (magnifier glass , T lockscreen etc) so i am not using stock .13 firmware.

Can you do one for the . 587 ics On live walkman?
In my room, stock room, framework. Jar is almost an empty file, But i have a framework.odex file With 10 megs, is this the file that i have to extract?

Tested. It really really works!!!!!!
I included in the deodex pack made by Knight47 the fix network. I use this on official ICS 4.1.B.0.587 and is working.
Use CWM to apply this pack.

Stock ROM Jelly Bean 4.1.2 DBT_I8190XXAMD3_I8190OXAAMD3 rooted only!
This is a non-wipe ROM, will not increase binary count and includes the latest SuperSU binaries.
Installation:
Download the 3 parts.
Shutdown device.
Put your device into Download mode is by pressing "Volume Down"+"Home"+Power Button" and then "Volume Up".
Connect device to pc.
Unrar the downloaded package.
Launch Odin , on "PDA" press browse and select the .tar file ,then press "Start".
After the first boot you must reboot the device.

BTU, DBT, ITV, KOR, XEF, XEO
