I used Sony Update Service to install official ICS but suddenly PC is turned off and the process is stopped. Now, the phone is not starting nor charging. When I connect charger or connect to PC, red notification LED blinks for a few times. Need Help.

The process was interuppted.. So its not starting.. Download .587 ftf file.. Search here on xda in neo general threads.. Use flashtool and connect your phone in flashmode and flash the ftf file.. I hope your flashmode is working.. If you are not rooted, then go to service centr striaght away.. They might do it free if you are under warranty.. For further info read stickies thread in neo dev forum..

Then when i tried to switch on my cell , it just vibrated and nothing was displayed.
When connected to pc , green led is on.
i tried to install the firmware "4.0.1.A0.283" via flashtool but it gives me error.
flashing aborted....then it says device disconnected.

If u have rooted phone, then goto cwm & wipe delvik cache, & reboot..
If u have unrooted phone, reflash stock ftf using flashtool or repair phone software using sony update service...

My Xperia sola is currently stuck at the sony logo. This is because:
I installed the jellybean custom rom and forgot to make a backup. I didn't like the jellybean and wanted to return the phone back to its original state but I didn't have a backup of it.
So i flashed the kernels 6.1.1.B.1.54 and 6.1.1.B.1.10 thinking that then I could plug in my phone and repair it using Sony Pc companion and revert it back to its original state but it won't even appear in Sony Pc Companion because the phone keeps turning on and off.
What can be done?
If u hav a flashtool then just flash the stock ics ftf file and then u have your working phone!!

Just use flastool. Download tft and flash it. You'll be ok.

Anyways, good for you
Coming to your problem, if you haven't rooted it, how could you even think of going to recovery or connecting it in fastboot mode!!!??
It isn't possible!
Anyway, just flash the stock ftf via FlashTool. It'd be alright!
