[Q] Motorola Razr MAXX stuck at Safestrap - Motorola Droid RAZR

Hi, got a problem with my Motorola Razr MAXX after doing a factory reset.
Everything was working OK after installed Safestrap 3.11. For some reason
I did a factory reset and the following happened:
The phone will boot into the main screen [SAFESTRAP:ENABLES] with
[MENU FOR RECOVERY] on the bottom left hand corner and [SEARCH
TO CONTINUE] on the lower right hand corner.
If I press [SEARCH TO CONTINUE] it goes black screen for about 6 seconds
and vibrate once and continue black screen for another 15 seconds and Motorola
logo showed up for 10 econds or so and back to Safestrap main screen again.
And continue again and again like this in a loop.
If I press [MENU FOR RECOVERY] it goes black screen and nothing happens.
Seems to have switched itself off.
Please help! Thanks!

Have you tried Matt's Utility? If not you should be able to head over to Droidrzr.com and download Matt's all in one utility and take care of things from there as long as you can get into fastboot mode.

Stuck on "Starting RSD Protocol support"

I just tried entering recovery mode, and accidentally pressed UP on the volume button..I didn't think it would matter...but now I'm stuck on the Starting RSD protocol support screen and no buttons will do anything. What have I done??
Should I remove the battery or what?
This is the recovery mode. If you meant CWM recovery you must must root it.
Yes just pop the battery out and reboot it wont do nothing.

I am rooted, and I don't believe this is the recovery mode I wanted (the FastBoot menu or whatever). Nevertheless, my phone isn't responding to anything...

Pull the battery. It's waiting for an SBF file to flash. The up button confirms your selection. Nothing will happen.
Oh nice it worked, I'm all set! Thanks guys, I had a minor heart attack.

xD I think everyone has gone through that feeling more than once.
I'm having the same problem. And i still cant get the phone to boot.
The only thing that get me into the phone is doing a cold boot?
What is going on? Please Help.
I was stuck on Rsd protocol too and i pulled the battery but nothing is happening, its only staying in the part where it says "dual core technology" Its stayed like that for about 5min. Help please!
Stuck on "Starting RSD protocol support" with red Moto logo.
Hello guys, I have tried everything in this "minor heart attacked" problem.
I have solved this problem by doing steps below,
1) Remove the battery (don't install again!),
2) If you have a 3.5 mm splitter headphone Y adapter,plugged it into DX2,
If you don't have it, try a regular headphone, plugged it into the DX2,
3) You do this at night before sleep, when you awake the next morning,
4) In the morning, with (the splitter headphone/headphone still plugged in the DX2) insert the battery, power on, PROBLEM solved.
5) On Your screen will appear the green Android logo, just skip it if you are NOT in the Verizon, if you are in the Verizon activate it.
6) How to skip Verizon's activation screen : on the screen with green Android logo, tap the screen at the corner, from upper left --> upper right --> bottom right --> bottom left (4 tapping). This will skip the Verizon's activation, tap skip, tap next, tap next you are DONE.
If you have a successful recovery, and want to donate, for a glass of beer, please do. Thank you so much.
i tried this for my atrix motorola did not work still stuck on RSD protocol
My Motorola Android is showing . Starting R S D protocol support 0 . Dual Core technology. What is wrong with it?

[Q] Razr Black Screen

Hi,
Yesterday I did the upgrade in my Razr to JellyBean 4.1.2 using the BMM.
Everything was OK, but at night, I did the biggest mistake: I installed CWM !!!
Yes... I was really stupid.
Now the mobile didnt work. after the boot (with Motorola red logo), the screen goes black and nothing happens.
I´ve tried everything that I found on the internet, without sucess.
I really appreciate if someone could help me to unbrick my razr.
Thanks
Estatica
Do you have the Verizon RAZR? There are fast boot files available now for rsd lite or use matt's newest utility to sbf
Full-Throttle Team
Android Aggression Team
Press hold all 3 buttons to reboot for 10+ seconds. Let go then immediately press hold both volume buttons again. You'll see a boot menu screen. Choose AP fastboot, then run Matt's utility to get back to stock and start over.
Sliced in with my Razr Maxx....

[Q] Bricked Droid RAZR

I have a Motorola Droid RAZR XT912. I was rooted on 4.1.2 and tried flashing a custom rom. Everything went good, when the phone rebooted the red Motorola logo came up, then it went to a black screen where it stayed. I have tried rebooting several times, same thing happens. I am also unable to access Fastboot. Any one have any idea how to fix this?
Hold both volume buttons and power until the screen turns off. Press and hold them again and you should get into the bootloader menu. Choose ap fastboot, and then connect to your computer and fxz. If you truly can't get into the bootloader menu, you are pretty much screwed. But if you can get to the moto logo you can almost always get to the bootloader menu.
I must not have had the right timing when I tried that before, but I just got in! Thank you!

I guess I broke my XT910

Hi everyone,
I am writing in order to find a helping hint to rescue my Motorola Razr XT910...
I was just trying to install another ROM via BMM, wiped everything, tried to reboot to BMM again because I inserted a SD card...
Now it does not reboot anymore and does not show the BMM boot animation!
It shows the regular, red Motorola logo, and then nothing.. black..
What did I do wrong, or what can I do to revive it??? Is there any windows one click installer/tool/recovery program??
I have been using BMM for a while now and this never happened... I installed many roms but now it seems as if it is broken.
I would be so happy to get some hints. I haven't found some similar posts for this problem.

there isn't a script tool for the xt910 because there are too many firmwares. The motorola logo means your bootloader is there, the black screen after means there isn't a ROM for it to boot up. It is curious that BMM hijack isn't showing up though. Have you taken the sd card out and tried booting it up again?
Anyways make sure you can get into stock recovery, if so, find the correct firmware for your xt910 (it is region specific.)
reinstall it with RSD lite(make sure you have plenty of battery.) Reroot, Reinstall BMM and restore your backup.

Thanks for your quick reply!
Right now I cannot get into ANY menu or something, I can press any button I want. After the "logo" it stays black. The phone also might not even be able to be connected to my computer. At least Microsoft Windows doesn't even show a new device when I connect it via USB, regardless if I have the correct drivers...
I dont know what to do... RSD didnt help me either. It wont find the phone...

Well, whenever you turn on your Razr, there is an initial red Motorola Logo. After that you usually touch the screen to boot into BMM (in case the green boot loader appears).
BUT... (of course I tried the VOL+ Vol- und Power button move) after rebooting it only shows the red Motorola Logo and then nothing but black.

How long are you holding them down.. it can take a good twenty-thirty seconds sometimes. Mine is also finicky if I don't press them all down at the exact same time, it wont let me in then either.
If your getting the boot logo it is just really hard to believe you dont have stock recovery... can the device charge? If you hook it to a computer do you get the white led?
While it is Flashing M LOGO.... just keep the VOLUME DOWN AND POWER KEY Pressed...till it Flashes and Shutsdown....and immediately let go the Buttons and Immediately Again press Both the buttons... VOL DOWN+POWER Key
when you get to the FASTBOOT mode

Now I am facing an issue that's really annoying. I can get into recovery (AP Fastboot) if the phone is connected to a power source. As soon as I unplug it, the screen turns black! When I connect the phone to my computer, the LED goes white and I cannot access AP Fastboot....
When no cable is connected to the phone I cannot access any recovery mode.
What is wrong here? Even if I connect the phone to the power source only, it shows the red Motorola logo all the time. It seems as if I cannot turn it off. Is there also a trick how to really turn it off and let the phone charge??

[SafeStrap] [umts_spyder]: My phone bricked after i updated from 3.65 to 3.73

As the title says:
My phone: Motorola Razr Maxx / xt910
I have used 3.65 but i decided to update to 3.73 along since i hopped to CM11 M9 from CM11 M7
This is where my problems started.
I made a new partition, and activated it as "active" one.
I installed CM11 M9 onto it, and google apps after that.
I booted to the new system and setup my apps and everything was fine, then i shut down the phone.
After i re-started the phone today it was stuck on motorola dual core technology logo. (which happens before safestrap).
And i managed to get into bootloader and deleted the CM11 M9 partition and switched back to stock rom as active one.
Then i attempted to re-create the partition and when it was doing the partition, the phone went off (still had 96% battery left).
After starting the phone up again, it's stuck on infinite boot loop, and flashes the green safestrap BIOS for half a second.
Is there any way i can fix my phone?
Try to flash it with RSD Lite, but its loss of data :/
Thank you for answering

Turn off the phone and while it's off press vol- vol+ and the power button at the same time.
If you do it right, you shouldn't see anything related to SS.

Done that multiple times and the screen just flashes on upper area of the screen and goes off..
I can't even power it on without plugging in a charger first.. If i unplug charger it flashes and goes off..
The battery is close to 96-98%

What about the led light,is it white?
If it's white then your battery is too low,you must buy or make the factory cable to be able to flash the fastboot with Rsd lite.
