Hi All,
There is a distorted sound from the earpiece like something is vibrating inside and not clear like my nokia 5800. Has anyone else been having this issue?
Thanks
I use bluetooth, and the only time mine is distorted, is if I have wi-fi enabled, while on a call. Doesn't seem to matter if it is connected or not on wi-fi. Turning it off during a call, clears it right up. May or may not be the same problem you are having.
Hi,
I wonder if it is possible to have a sound notification when a SMS arrives, also when I have my bluetooth earpiece active. I have the habbit of not holding my phone in my hand when talking, I most of the time use my BT earpiece.
Compared to my iMate Jasjar / aka HTC Universal, I had my phone lying on my desk, BT active, and earpiece on. So when I call came in, the phone ringed, and I picked up by pressing the button on my BT earpiece. When a message came in, the phone made a sound notification, both from the phone, and through my BT earpiece.
On my HD2 the phone rings as usual. But I don't hear a sound notification from the phone, I only hear it when I have my BT earpiece in my ear. But this way I need to have it in my ear all day (.
Is there a way to get sound notification even when BT earpiece is active and turned on?
With Bluetooth on and paired/ connected to a headset (I use a Jambox in my case).
If the phone is muted or set to vibrate only, then no problem.
But if the phone has Sound On (ringtone comes on with a call), I answer the call and the call does not go to the earphone speaker on the phone or the Jambox but to the phone speaker instead.
Pressing the Speaker or the Headset icons during the call does nothing.
I can also hang up the call from the Jambox. So it has the call but not the sound.
I can hear hissing turning on and off on the Jambox as I press the Headset icon, as if it is attempting to send audio over but it stays with the phone.
Muting the phone or setting it to vibrate cures the problem. So does turning off Bluetooth. Restarting the phone does not help.
Can anyone please replicate?
My phone is a ZTE Axon 7. If I play a WhatsApp audio message, it starts playing with phone speakers. when I put the phone near the ear, the screen goes black (as it should be, like a normal phone call) but I cannot hear anything. I tried to press the vol+ hardware button, it changes the call volume, but even at max volume I still cannot hear anything. Do you know how can I fix this?
I don't mind my screen turning on when I'm holding the phone. But it's a problem when I'm using my bluetooth headset. I can answer/end/call/etc all from the buttons on my headset. I don't want to have to interact with my phone when I want to be hands-free.
The problem is that my phone will "wake up" when I receive a call or when the call ends. If it's in my pocket, sometimes it will start going "BEEP BEEP BEEP" as numbers are dialed or apps are changed or the mute button gets activated, etc. So when I receive a call on my headset I have to also remove it from my pocket and turn the screen off. The same thing goes when I end a call from my headset.
How can I stop my device from notifying me by turning on the screen when I have my bluetooth headset connected? Honestly, I wouldn't mind a solution which works without the headset as well. I am fine with the auditory notification of a call. I don't need the hassle of also dealing with the screen unless I want to answer a call. For example, I want to ignore a call-- so I have to both hit the volume down to silence it as well as turn the screen off.
