Known Issues
There may be a slight delay for the screen to come on when waking up the device from sleep
Music playback may stutter when turning the screen on from sleep
In some cases, on LTE, signal bars may not display properly.
BT tethering connects, but does not properly assign an IP address for Internet access
USB tethering does not work with Windows (Linux-based systems are fine)
Bluetooth HID broken (keyboards, mice)
Wired headset mic not working
Unconfirmed Issues
Camera may occasionally have a black screen (Focal seems unaffected) - likely a 3rd party app issue
(decided to make this post a little more useful)

You need to flash the latest, and if that's still an issue, then you can post it.
Much changed in those two days.

I'm running a sense ROM right now, but I'm really interested in this. Can someone confirm that [every feature I've got now] will work, because I don't want to flash right now. Also how exactly do I flash AOSP? Do I need to be S-OFF?

Pretty sure everything works haven't had a issue with CM10.2 . No need to downgrade your TP as the newer CM10.1 and up roms have the 3.4 kernel which supports the newer touchpanel driver.

Anyone having camera issues? Sometimes I just get a black screen like my camera can't see anything. The focal app doesn't seem to have the problem.
Otherwise this has been good since I ran the 15 build.

I can verify this exists(at least as late as level 9 labyrinths), haven't tested on build from OP yet.
EDIT: Cursory attempts at recreating on 20130818 have been fruitless.

Anyone else have data issues? I know this is like still wip, but im just wondering. I have LTE, and 3 bars of service. Well, LTE will come in and out constantly. It shows LTE, but the internet does not work. Then it works for a couple minutes then goes out and repeats the cycle.

Ditto on the data issues, 3g works but LTE shows connected however no data with it

Check Post #2. Data still works fine. Ignore the bars.

I think one of the biggest issues with data and the ROMs for this phone is most of us are in a deployment area. It's hard to tell if its ROM or rollout issues.

Strangely enough I have better reception with 10.2 then I ever did with 10.1. I have better 3G signal and I'm seeing LTE in my area that I wasn't seeing before, and it stays conected.

Many issues I have with the ROM persist when I go back to stock. I think between HTC's code and Sprint it's really hard to tell if this ROM is truly the issue.

Sorry for the late reply, you can search for modems I can provide a link if necessary but a Google search should be fine and you will need to root and have cwm installed to do this or use a flash tool or Odin if you have a galaxy,

I use to get full five bars at home using GB, after updated to ICS (SuperSayain rom) I pretty much only getting 3 bars. What I did was in the mobile network setting, changed mode from auto to WCDMA only and so far i've been getting pretty much 5 bar most of the time with occasionally dropped down to 4. hope this works for you too.
I am also having this strange issue. So is reverting to GB the only way or can you just flash the gb radio? Anybody know anymore about this??
Same issue here. At home used to get full 5 bars, now 3 sometimes 4, which is fine as I am usually on WiFi anyway. Problem is I had great signal all throughout my daily commute to work to where there is sections of my drive that I have no signal. Before in that area it would revert to EDGE from 4G and mine is set to auto.
Just believe like everyone else mentioned that it is the ICS radio. Hopefully an update will fix it

No. And to the people talking about modems and odin and.. yea, no. We don't have modems to flash, and odin is just for samsung devices. Until now we couldn't flash a radio if we WANTED to.
You know the iPhone's fix when people were talking about how bad the signal was for the iPhone4? They had been boosting the REPORTED signal strength. So did HTC, so did Samsung, so did.. all of them. You'd drop a call when it showed you had GOOD signal.
Not a single person has posted about having ACTUAL worse issues. The OP said he can make calls and talks about how many bars.
Apple's opinion:
We have discovered the cause of this dramatic drop in bars, and it is both simple and surprising.
Upon investigation, we were stunned to find that the formula we use to calculate how many bars of signal strength to display is totally wrong. Our formula, in many instances, mistakenly displays 2 more bars than it should for a given signal strength. For example, we sometimes display 4 bars when we should be displaying as few as 2 bars.

People here are having the OPPOSITE problem, it LOOKS like you should have an issue, and you don't.. but people keep posting about it even tho there hasn't been any issues.
This is the ONLY person who had actual signal issues(Weird Interference/Reception Call Issues on my Amaze) I have seen since ICS dropped, and it turned out to be a hair on the contact for the antennae. Read his thread, he methodically checked quality and could answer basic questions - and then he fixed the actual problem.
Edit: I'm not trying to be a jerk, but if someone is ACTUALLY having problems, they actually can't make calls, drop calls where they didn't before, etc.. then there is probably a problem that can be fixed. But unless you are having those issues it is likely that the signal strength you're seeing is more accurate(EXACTLY like the apple quote I put above), they are just doing a better job of SHOWING the actual signal. Which is good, no unexpected dropped calls or BS.

CM10, 4g but no 3g?

Hi all,
I've been desperately wanting to use CM10 as my daily driver, but for some reason I can't get 3g to work with it. For some really odd reason, I was able to access the 4g network which is very spotty around here. It would only connect for short periods, but I did get a couple of speed tests completed.
I've tried installing Deck's 9/19 version, as well as some of the Cyanogen nightlies, even the latest Paranoid Android, all with the same result.
Has anyone else had a similar issue? I'd really like to get back to CM as soon as possible.
Thanks!

Try changing network settings from LTE/CDMA to just CDMA
CM10 has a issue connecting to eHRPD right now. Its a bug. A bad one.....
Thanks for the tip. I did try changing the network mode with no result.
If that's a bug, it certainly is a big one. I'm surprised that I haven't read any complaints about it. I went through the entire thread. I saw a few things about RIM vs. NV but not really much else.
Any idea where I can read more about this bug?

Its a big discussion on the IRC channel. Toast&Deck have been made aware and are trying to get a solution.
It only recently started to affect large numbers, before it was hit and miss but much more reliable. I went back to 9/11, seems fine to me, no nv support though.
OK. Thanks for the heads-up. I generally only log on to IRC long enough to get the link.
I'll keep an eye out for more info. Can I get the 9/11 version on IRC as well?

Sounds like a phone issue. Try going onto IRC and downloading one of Deck's test builds, instead of the nightly. What ROM are you currently running?
You might also try downloading the nightly again and try a clean install, in case you got a bad download.

Cm updated to the newest touch interface based off of 3.16 firmware flash that and the nightlies will work from 7.4.13 ect
Sent from my EVO using xda app-developers app
I managed to finally load CM10.1(cm-10.1-20130703-NIGHTLY-jewel) with a working touchscreen driver after trying all sorts of junk with getting 10.0.0 stable release to work, which never gave me touchscreen functionality, as well as trying many other versions of CM. Even so, I ended up going back to MeanBean 3.09 due to extremely weak signal-strength on the CM10.1 ROM. I never got more than one bar of voice signal, with constant switching between 1x and 3G and 4G data, while the MeanBean consistently gives me 3+ bars voice and a consistent 4G signal when the device is in a certain location. I seem to be in a fringe area for solid 4G reception, which may well be the reason for my poor radio performance while running CM.
Cm measures signal differently then stock so a direct comparison isn't really fair
I've had this issue too. Usually after a few tries the display turns on. I believe this may have been a kernel issue. The 20130705 release has a new kernel and I haven't had the issue since installing.

[Q] Gnex to the DNA

Well after going through 4 GNex replacements VZW has decided to send me a HTC DNA to replace it, and it will be here monday.
I am curious as to the two different DNA Development Threads... ?
Can someone explain?
Also as I have been reading threads (still reading now) that the current RUU is unrootable?
Is this still true? ( I may have already got to "that thread" by the time I get an answer)
Just trying to get some info before I delve into it.

Are you referring to the DNA Android Development and DNA Original Android development boards? The first one (loosely speaking) is more for kangs, and roms that are based off of stock, as well as roms that are based off of other people's work (i.e. not fully original work). The original development board is geared towards roms built from source (i.e. AOSP roms), as well as development that introduce original features.

Agreed.
I intentionally moved from the gnex to the DNA, as I had a coupon to get it for free and I felt the deal couldn't be beat.

Lte connectivity

Can anyone tell me how to keep this phone connected to lte? We just got lte where I live and I use open signal app and it showed lte so I drove right up to the tower. Within 250 feet. My friend with HTC one was connected with no problems. But my phone wouldn't connect. He was getting download speeds of 13-18 mbps. I know I read something on here about an app that helps and also something about##72786# or something like that to change some settings. Thanks

It's a known problem for the elte's, some of them have problems acquiring and maintaining an lte signal, while others don't. Mine does the same thing sometimes.
I have read some people have problems getting an lte signal on some non sense based Roms, not saying that's the problem in this particular situation, but just an fyi sort of thing...
Also, are you s-off? If yes, have you updated to the latest radios? It seems to have helped my phone pick up lte a lil more often...
