Windows Experience Index, on a traditional PC, was a helpful tool to see how your PC was running and what kind of windows experience you should expect when doing hardware-intensive things such as playing games. This app, created to fill that gap on Windows Phone, resembles Experience Index on Windows as much as possible. However, the look is completely different and features such as an issue database and other help tools have been added. Issue detection is also there.
For a detailed discription of Experience Index on Windows computers, click here.
Here are a few screenshots of the application. These can be viewed from the Windows Phone Store as well.
The application is currently compatible with Windows Phone 8 only. No Windows Phone 7 Support is planned.
To download the application, follow this link and download it from the store directly:

Hi,
Am totally new to development. Just completed C# for absolute beginners in channel9. I am planning to develop windows phone 8.1 App and have started my course for the same.
App name ---- Active vehicle tracking system.. and here is what i intend to do..
1. Have a basic UI which allows me to search routes using bus number
2. Bus no. using location.
3. Map the bus actively through GPS.
considering all these, how much time will it take for me? what should i get started with to progress. Am literally in a fix as to how i can proceed or not getting hang of it. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Cheers,
Avi
aavins73, are you planning to start "Windows phone 8.1 App development" here - in Windows Phone 7 forum?

Wrong decision. Try another place.
I want to try the web results feature in Windows 11. It didn't work in my case (just the auto completion list will appear). I searched the internet but came to the conclusion, that most users want it disabled instead of enabled. To clarify the issue (the result that I want), I added a picture below.

I tried to solve it with gpedit.msc and adding a DWORD to the registry, but it didn't worked.
Thanks for any help
Somehow, after the update 2022-11 Cumulative Update for Windows 11 Version 22H2 for x64-based Systems (KB5019980), Bing web results showed up. I tested the update too on my second computer and it worked as well. Not sure, if the new icon is a hint of Bing web results being activated:
In my case, the issue resolved on it's own after the update.
Hello everybody.
I'd like to figure out how to change the look of my iso.
I love the native transparency of windows and would like to apply it everywhere like in this example.
I don't know anything about the look of windows, but I'd like to figure out how to change these things without using 3rd party software.

IMO to make windows transparent in Windows 11 isn't possible without using 3rd-party-tools.
How to make windows transpartent by 3rd-party-tools is described here:
How to make windows transparent in Windows 11/10
You can make an app, folder or program windows completely transparent in Windows 11/10 & set the transparency level using these free tools.

Also several Youtube videos exist: do a Google search for them.

During the first installation, the digital license is placed in the UEFI. Did you install the PRO version yourself?
No, I had 11 home pre-installed and I just tried to upgrade as I did in previous versions, but now home product key is also not working
You can't upgrade / replace a HOME edition by a PRO edition.
Windows 10 Home
$139 to purchase.
Additional $99 to upgrade to Pro.
Windows Store for home use.
Can join a workgroup.
Windows 10 Pro
$199.99 to purchase.
Windows Store for Business.
Additional security features.
Administrative and enterprise tools.
Can join an Azure Active Directory Domain.
Thanks, but how do I correct it. I reset my PC but it doesn't work.
In the link below you will find the solution to the problem.
