[Q] Email app and Google Apps global directory.. - Android Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Looking for an email application that will search the google apps directory for user names..
Seems most email apps only search the contacts, (google sync'd and local).
But if you have a Google Apps "domain" account.. you can have Global users that are not in your local contacts or local address book..
Any suggestions on search the "google apps global addressbook" from an email client?
Toro 4.3 cm10.2 nightly..
Stock email, Maildroid, K-9 do not do it..
Thanks in advance for any help you might have to offer..

[Q] Contact List

I have a couple questions about organizing the contacts on my Optimus-T. I imported the contacts from my Google (Gmail) account after acquiring this phone (I had a myTouch 3G v1.2 before the Optimus-T). When I open up an individual contact, there are 3 separate, identical Google (from the same Gmail account) listings as well as one T-Mobile account. When I create a new account, it just creates one Google (Gmail) listing. How can I delete these extra (identical) Google (Gmail) listings from each contact. When I go into the Account settings, under "Manage Accounts," Both the Gmail and T-Mobile accounts are selected ("Sync is ON"). Please Help!
Thanks,
-Adam

[Q] Which email for Gmail?? And a twitter question.

So, I'm a bit confused with the plethora of options built into this phone. In order to set up Google Play, I had to enter a gmail account. That partially populated email on the phone. But there's also a separate GMAIL program. I can't remember which was necessary before contacts and calendar stuff started to appear.
Am I better off sticking with the phone's email program for gmail, or using the Gmail program from within the google apps folder? What are the plusses/minuses?
Also, is it possible to import contact photos from twitter for name matches or by linking profile to contact name?
Thanks!
GMail app is better for GMail as it allows specific GMail features like the stars, etc
Maybe the e-mail app supports that, but I am only using the E-Mail app for exchange
I would say go for the GMail app!
Use gmail app.

Now i am interested to know if there is any way to add my gmx.com email to this gmail account and to use it with my android phone, contacts etc. In fact is there any way this gmx.com be a primary e-mail adress for gmail account, so every way there is gmail.com to stay gmx.com.

Please move to troubleshooting stock calendar on android 4.2.2 to my google account?

I have Calendar on Android 4.2.2 Samsung Mega. The default calendar used to automatically link to my google account so that my google account was my default calendar. Now it seems like my default calendar is just a default calendar and my google account has its own calendar with my google account name.
How do i get my default calendar linked back to my google account?
Ok how about this? How do I get The default calendar events copied to my Google calendar events. If it was a PC or actually Google it would be easier but it's not
I'm so sorry. I've posted in the wrong forum. Can an admin move this to troubleshooting please

Stock calendar and O365 account

Hi,
Here's my setup:
Mate 20 Pro, Android 10, running stock ROM, trying to use the least Google apps
Issue:
I want to use the stock calendar app and add an O365 calendar. I use FairEmail as my client, which does not add the O365 account as an available account for the stock calendar app. The problem is that in Android 10 accounts are linked to apps. If you want to add a new account through Settings > Accounts, you can't because no app supporting the O365 account is there.
I do not want to install the Outlook app, link my O365account to a Google account or any other weird workaround. I simply want to add an O365 calendar account to the stock app.
If it really is not possible, is there a recommended privacy oriented calendar app that supports natively O365 accounts (not only fetching the ones already present on the system)?
Thank you in advance.
