I have one of these for my Galaxy Note:

Is there anything like this for the 6.3? I am current using a sunglasses sock but it is too thin! Just need something to avoid dust when in my pocket.
If not I was thinking maybe a PS Vita pouch or something? What other phone is close to the size of the Mega 6.3?

Lanyards are pretty awesome for preventing your phone to fall out your hand and out your pocket. I was pretty devastated not having a lanyard anchor for this phone.Has anyone found a way or a case that allows a lanyard?

It has a lanyard attachment (corner) and gives a little protection to the camera without really adding anything to the size.
be honest you know the real reason you wanted a place to attach a lanyard is so you could decorate your phone with charms..

Can you guys place some links.
Thanks.
P.S. want to add my favorite naruto charm i got from japan
I used to have those charms from gacha gacha machines, well I still use it to anchor the phone in my fingers. This s3 is too big and its very easy to drop with one hand operations, Im getting something like this http://www.amazon.com/Cellphone-Han...UTF8&coliid=I3PR2TUZ7ONQF6&colid=1QPYSXH0KHBP
So in 2010 7 inches was considered a tablet. Now this colossal phone comes along at just the same size being the screen size is 6.3 inches! Thats huge for a phone. Now just imagine with a case? Your carrying a man purse. 5.5 on the note 2 is as big as im ever going. My opinion. It looks sexxy as heck but the size is just to big. Or what you guys think?

You have some flaws in your logic. 6.3" isn't the same size as 7" and if you consider that the bezel is very thin and is much thiner than that on a tablet, you actually have a considerably smaller device. If you put together a 7" tablet and a GM 6.3, you will see that GM is much smaler. You cant pocket a 7" tablet, but you can a GM. the attraction of GM is that it's the biggest device you can fit in a normal size pocket. I wouldn't use it as a phone that i carry around with me everywhere, but as a portable tablet for internet/games/email/videos - a very good option, imo.
I have to agree with Baladev. Being the owner of both a 7" tablet and the 6.3 galaxy mega, I can tell you that the overall size of the galaxy mega is way smaller than my 7" tablet even though there is only a .7 inch difference in actual screen real estate. The mega easily fits into my front pant pocket (and I'm sure it will continue to fit easily in my pocket when I get the case for it). I would more than likely rip my pants trying to put my 7" tablet into my pocket even with the case removed. The reason? the tablet's shape is more "squarish" than rectangular making it wider and impossible to fit into my pant pockets. The mega is more rectangular than square so it easily slips into my pant pockets. Also, the tablet has a much bigger bezel on all side (contributing to its much larger size). The bezel on the mega is thin.
I totally love my mega. Its very funny when you are walking around and people be like. Is that the note 2?. Hah. Nice specs. Hd video. Slim bezel. And great battery life.

I got mine today, I switched from the Galaxy Note N7000.
I must say I was a little worried that the Mega 6.3 would be too big! The actual phone isn't massive at all, the screen almost takes up the whole of the front panel. The quality of the screen is wonderful, the phone is also very light for the size and nice and fast too!
For the price I am more than happy!
I'm planning to switch to Mega 6.3. Will I notice drastic change in the performance? Thank you.

Actual usage is better in the Mega since is has the newer version of touchwiz and android plus its CPU and GPU has newer architecture than the Note 2. Here's a video comparison of the Note 2 and the mega 6.3, notice the lags on the Note 2 around 6:00 onwards.
I sold my Note II and got the Mega and have no regrets. This phone is more modern, fast and fluid throughout the whole UI :good: It performs like a champ and the screen is surprisingly good for a 720p, crisp and clear with great contrast and outdoor visability

Thanks guys! I'm going to get one this weekend! I'm excited! What is the best case for the Galaxy Mega? The one that won't scratch our phone's housing.

I would suggest you think again. I have a Note I as well as the Mega 5.8 DUOS. Note I and Note II (and indeed any Samsung Galaxy 'Note') have the S-Pen which, for some (like me) is a key productivity tool. I create and sign documents and do all sorts of great things on my Note I but cannot do same on the Mega.

I'm using an S line gel case which is quite cheap but very efficient. There's a case thread in the accessories section of the forum for more choices.

There is a good selection of cases on eBay and Amazon. By the way, if you think for a moment why we need a case for these devices, it is to protect them from damage. The most serious damage is not the scratches on the back, but a broken screen. I personally do not think a case that does not protect the screen is effective, so I never go for those gel cases.

I've had many devices with huge screens and I have never broken a screen. I just use a screen protector and a slim gel case. Also, I personally don't like the extra bulk and the price of the 'high end' cases. Lots of people use them and they still break their screens, I am more into scratch protection as I want my phone in pristine condition when I sell it on next year.

I rarely use the S-Pen on my Note 2 before so it won't be a huge deal breaker.
What color is the best? Is the white plastic ok? Like will it turn yellow or stain?

I have never seen a Samsung phone stain due to their hyper glaze tech so it's not something to worry about.
I personally prefer black because the screen blends with the little bezel in front of the phone.
I recently purchased an "S-pen Holder" off of eBay for use with my Note 10.1 (n8000), and while the pen holder is very very nice, the actual
S-pen is absolute crap compared to the one that comes with the note 10.1. The tip is very hard, and does not have the "gumminess" that allows the pen to lay down that nice real pressure sensitive pen look.
So my question is, did they ever make a less crummy pen for the n7000? Is there one available with has more of that modern Galaxy note feel to it? Or, is there a decent aftermarket pen with the same form factor.
I want to keep this fantastic case, but I will not be able to use this s-pen. The problem is that the case only fits the pen in the shape made for the n7000 and i1717.
Here is the link to the S-pen holder:

I'm looking for a nice case for a Note 4 but also has to come with stylus and be able to store it somewhere in the case. I'm looking to upgrade from a galaxy note.
