Go in developer options, and click “disable hardware overlays” under the drawing section
The problem is with android 4.2.x, the OS gets confused and can’t decide if the CPU or the GPU should be drawing the screen, so it flickers do to it switching between the CPU and GPU real fast…
Lets See if theres a permanent update to this problem from the developers

Dear Friend,
Unfortunately it is not a proper solution as the above does not solve the issue on ALL phones with the problem just as the problem is not present on all phones.
If you go through the threads related to the issue, you would see that a lot of people already tried the above method and a few others, it worked for some, other solution worked for some and there are also for a lot of users (unfortunately including me) none of the solution worked so far.

I found an annoying issue in HTC Sense 2.1 portedto the Raphael. I searched for for a fix but unfortunately I could not find one. I hope someone helps.
The Issue:
When you are in any of the Sense 2.1 tabs and you swipe up or down then the UI behaves as expected. Thus, if you were in messages swiping up once will bring up the next email, swiping down once will bring up the previous email. Ditto for the other tabs.
If you use the d-pad to flick items up and down then everytime you press the d-pad it will be equivalent to two swipes. Thus, you will miss an item each time you use the d-pad which is kind of frustrating if you have wet thumb and opt for the the d-pad which ruins a great functionality. Please help.

I found the culprit! I removed all installed programs and started re-installing them one at a time after which I woul go and check the issue. The program that caused the issue was the Manila Today Page -- MTP. I verified istalling/uninstalling it and each time I removed it the issue went away. Each time I isntalled it the issue re-appeared. It is indeed avery usefull program but is there away to fix this?
I don't have this issue with Sense 2.1. Perhaps it is the ROM or Sense 2.1 port you are using.

I use the Energy Phoenix 2 6.5.5 win HTC Sense 2.1.
I do not have this issue running EnergyROM version below

Your issue might be hardware related 'cause I've never had that issue with mine, and if you're running energy phoenix2 rom and you have an issue with it you should post it in the proper rom thread, instead of making a new thread. You will get the most help when you post in the apropriate thread.

Actually, it cannot be a hardware issue since the d-pad works as expected in other programmes. But this is actually weird that it is me alone who has this issue with the d-pad. Anyway, I have bought SPB Mobile Shell 3.5.3. It is consistent with the VGA resolution, has maximum customisation, and huge functionality at my fingertips (and the d-pad works fine there).

some of you may know that some popular barcode-scanner apps are having a problem to focus on very near and small objects since some time. The apps I know having this problem are "Barcode Scanner" and "Neo Reader".
The solution till now was to use the old version of "Barcode Scanner" (3.72) that was able to focus correctly. So I asked the developer to fix this problem, but they said they won't, because the problem lies in the camera drivers of our phones. This may be true, but it is still very easy to workaround as I showed to them. Please see my bugreport and the comments there:

As I did my own workaround to this problem, I noticed that our Arc (S) provides excellent support for the "continuous focus"-mode when using ICS. So I implemented this mode for all users on ICS, not just for the Arc.

nova 3 runs in this but only on first install. to play again i have to re install the game from start.
I think it would be wise to remember that one line that many of us used to describe CM9 and CM10/10.1 after their releases with the 3.1.10 kernel. This is an experimental alpha build. It will have bugs and will need fixes. Alphas are not recommended for daily driver, but encouraged to be used as such to provide feedback to the developer on what might need to be done or where to look to provide stability and improved performance.

BT - relevant question due to the fact that BT is a feature found in all devices nowadays. Per Z's first post, BT calling still has an issue (I haven't tested this out due to the fact that I'm not quite sure where my BT earpiece is atm). I can confirm that it will allow file transfer to device, but occationally will stall and cause a reboot. BT keyboard (Moto's that was released for this device) connects, but not useable (confirmed by anyone else besides me?)
NOVA 3 - irrelevant question/comment. This is a game. While it is a good fyi to those who play this game, this game does nothing for the everyday user. This game and the info provided in the post does nothing to fix the random reboots, provide added ROM stability, fix BT issues, give us HDMI capabilities, start to solve fp issues, fix call recording, or fix encryption.
Freeze and Reboot
I installed v3 Bigpart. Especially While I was browsing with Chrome or Opera or another browser, My phone is crashing, freezing and rebooting. I liked kitkat but this event, it annoys me. I do not want to uninstall. How can i solve this problem. ? Please help. I searched threads but i could not find. Please help me.

Did you follow Z's instructions on downgrading from a bigpart setup back to a Moto setup to include wiping data and cache?
Netflix issue on V3
I am testing KitKat Atrix V3.
Youtube is working perfectly.
Netflix is not crashing more, like in V2, but it show a connection error message, with code -9.
Someone know how to fix it?
The same netflix version works properly in another mobile model with official kitkat

I have installed the v3 version and im really impressed because it gives the Atrix a new live.
It is faster, and powerful than before. But it comes with a price. It is unstable. I get reboots very often. VERY often.
With this ironed out and with better support to bt calls and i would use it as daily driver.

My AHD had a broken digitizer and I fell back to my A4G for the past few wks and have used this ROM as a daily. I dealt with the reboots that you, me, everybody, and Z are all very much aware of since this ROM has not been updated to v4 yet, and b/c of the fact that this is an experimental ROM. Not many ppl besides you are complaining about the obvious downsides to using an experimental/alpha stage ROM. If these issues are such a problem for you, feel free to exclude yourself from the list of members currently testing and assisting with developing this ROM for stability and downgrade to GB, ICS, or JB.

Part of the process is to tell the developers about the issues you may find, and to relate about your experiences...
I get a lot of reboots... almost 5 o 6 by hours... that is important information...
I think you two must relax and read what is written in the spirit it was written.
And in what mind a complain ends with an "keep the good work"??? really... REALLY read again and stop attacking people with good intentions...

hi its aonly something small but my phone just started doing it
im trying to take screen shots to help with bug squashing
it was fine but now when i press the volume controls together i get a volume control at the top of the page with the screen shot
is there a way of disabling the volume showing up or am i pressing the wrong buttons!

That's a known problem but it has just been fixed in the latest vivid-proposed images. The fix has also been in the RTM images for a while.

Yes, it's definitely the best version to run if you want to use it as a daily driver. You should get an update about next week which fixes the screenshot issue.
Regarding the notifications: Yes, there's a real problem with that.
Actually, I submitted patches for that issue some time ago, but nobody has been reviewing them for more than two months. I've almost lost hope that this will ever happen...
If you want to increase the problem's importance, please select that the following 4 bugs affect you:

Hi, I loved using the Pixel Experience ROM. I faced a couple of issues, and had to revert back to rooted stock rom.
Issues:
1. FM Radio doesn't work. Minor issue.
2. Camera: I understand that Camera2API is enabled by default in this ROM. All is good except when I use the camera built in Whatsapp. If the flash is not enabled, the capture comes with a green overlay which is not at all usable; this happens in both front and rear camera. The photo is fine when flash is enabled. No issues in the stock camera included in the rom and opencamera app.
3. When I call someone, the in-call timer doesn't start when they answer the phone, also the Hold & Add Call buttons are not available and call waiting is not functional. It is as if the device would not register if the call has been answered. I use Jio as my only sim so I could not tell if it is an issue specific to Volte calling. Things are fine in case of incoming calls. This is a major issue and I had to revert back to stock rom with Magisk because I was not getting calls. I saw other posts on the forum with this issue.

I tried the April build of PE and unfortunately, these issues are still there. I cannot shake the feeling that I am doing something wrong. Are we supposed to flash anything else along with the ROM so that these issues would go away?
I have a little doubt.

Yes you can but I don't think there is an official Lineage ROM for Rosy. There is an unofficial available on XDA. There are a couple of other options that you can try. E.g. Resurrection Remix, crDroid, Pixel Experience, CyanogenMod etc.
why I can't flash gsi roms?
everytime I flash a gsi it boots to bootloader..
and another problem..
I cannot connect my device to my pc..
when i connect to pc it charges but doesn’t show the Notification light and in my pc it says unknown device..
I tried to update device driver but it says driver is upto date.. I tried installing drivers from online but still same problem..
and in my phone there shows no option to choose mtp or anything like that too...
