Hey guys,
for you that one should be a rather simple question:
Has there been a stable stock vanilla android rom for every major smartphone? I have little to none experience in rooting and don´t know the rom community. I´ve always been using Nexus devices thus far...
I really do like the LG G2, but I don´t wanna miss the pure android experience... Any prediction will be appreciated

Hello everyone, I'd really like to know which one is the fastest rom for my Motorola Dext/Cliq.
I know it isn't the greatest Android phone of the market but here in Venezuela all the carriers are fall in love with Blackberrys, forgetting the Android and Apple clients.
I'm using CyanogenMod 7.1 but the lag is horrible and the phone can't be enyoiable.
Thanks!
You could try some from here: http://modmymobile.com/forums/548-motorola-cliq-roms/.
Only you will be able to tell what rom runs the fastest on your device. Try the ones available and make up your own mind.

Hello everyone,
before you continue reading I want to excuse myself, for m not that good english. ^^
I have signed up here, because I want to get a ROM on my Desire X. The reason why I want to do that, is that I have done this already on my Xperia X10 MP, and it ran much better with the ROM, that was some years ago. Can I expect that in this case with my Desire X? That it will run better? It already laggs sometimes, not only in games, but when I switch from a appliaction to application for example WhatsApp to Chrome.
So lets come back to my question. Which ROM should I use? I want the smartphone to run smoother. Or even better.
I have found this here, and on the latest stable Version is Jelly Bean (Android 4.2.x). therefor I could or would use CM10 by fozzy_fozzy.
Can you recomend it ot are there better ones?
Thank you for Answers!
Have A Nice Day!
Thread closed,
Best rom threads are against forum ruled, as there is no best rom. Each rom works differently for each user. Best thing to do is to them for your self.
Many thanks,

Hello, I have limited Knowledge and am New to ROM/Android.
I have a S3 i9300, and I have Rooted it.
Now I find the phone very laggy and slow ( I had a Moto g and it felt MUCH FASTER) So after some research I think this is because of touchwiz.
So now I am thinking of putting a ROM.
I looked in the ROM Section/Youtube/ and on Here and am LOST on what to do next.
I don't understand which ROM would be best for me?
All I want it is a FAST/STABLE and SMOOTH Phone.
Must be Andriod Kitkat - I want to enable ART.
I don't want crazy features like Pie control/ Touch wiz Ports ETC.
So what do you recommend?
I have heard and seen Cyagoemod. It looks like that is what i want but I am unsure? Will there be too many useless feature for me?
Thank You very much

CyanogenMod is just cool if you want the stock Android experience like on moto g, it have not that much fancy features, it has some but very useful. The only thing you will probably miss if you install CyanogenMod will be the camera quality from Samsung ROMs, in rest is very stable and fast, know from my experience
Sent from my GT-I9300 using XDA Free mobile app
I've had my LG-G5 H850 for a few months now.... really hated the LG UI, but managed to get it close to usable with Google Now, etc so I didn't rush into it....
The only thing about the LG ROM that I'm nervous about losing is the LG camera software.... does the dual mode camera and all the manual options (incl RAW photo's, etc) still work in Cyanogenmod / similar?
Which ROMs are people running? I notice that there's still no Cyanogenmod/Mokee build for the G5
Are people just running stock, rooted and debloated?
Custom Roms
Hey
As you already know there are currently no cm roms as of yet but there are 3 custom roms to my knowledge. The current custom roms all use the flagship camera software so your good to go ahead with flashing any one of them.
I doubt Cm will run the flagship flagship camera software and im unaware of any cm camera software utilising the 3 cameras as of yet.
I was a D855(G3) owner for the past 3 years. The Rom development was huge but unfortunately no cm based or aosp based Rom was able to go even close to stock camera quality. LG camera framework was closed coded and LG hasn't shared the code yet. So I guess the same thing will happen to G5. I just hope for more developers to join the G5 community.
I was also on LS990 lg g3 since it's release till coming to g5 and I mainly ran pure AOSP,XenonHD with a few exceptions for some CM-based ROMs... Till I found Fulmics(which was similar to UX 5.0) which was amazing despite missing some features find in AOSP/CM-style ROMs
But I must say I love UX 5.0 with app drawer; I think I'm part of the minority that thinks LG did a great job with their new UI,esp compared to the old UI's...
At this point I wouldn't want to run CM-anything...esp if it means giving up my camera! I mean if u want a circle battery icon that bad just install gravity box... But this UI has grown on me
Any specific custom ROM recommendations?
I was going to follow this thread: http://forum.xda-developers.com/lg-g5/development/recovery-team-win-recovery-project-lg-g5-t3363047
and then CMremix (based on CM-14.1)... I think!! (from here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/lg-g5/help/rom-cmremix-rom-v1-xx-t3502055)
And thanks for the info about the LG camera software - it's the one piece of LG software that I've been really happy with - definitely would have looked to keep that, so good to hear that it is being ported as-is into the custom ROMs.
Ever since Samsung "did an Apple" and abandoned all their enthusiasts and tweakers (as Apple did in the 1980's), I've been looking for an alternative like LG!!!
Hello everyone, I am new to this forums but have been operating on phones for a while, I am currently wanting to ROM my Samsung S3 ( I9300 ) to a nice interface and a nice stable ROM. I have narrowed my search down to TWO ROM's that I like and have read up on a lot but I was wondering if I could have some opinions. I am basically struggling to decide on which one to choose. I am mainly wanting the ROM with the best stability but also nice looks if that's possible with either of the ROM's below:
Would you rather install 'Ressurrection Remix' or 'CyanogenMod' and why?
Im using ResurrectionRemix at the moment and its very stable , unless u go to the settings and faceroll enable all the customizations
Hey man, if you don't mind me asking, what do you use your phone for as mine needs to be stable but also optimized
