I've a problem with the jelly bean browser on XPERIA sola. When browsing in some pages (like xda developers page) it displays a white transparent layer over the page. Can anybody fix this issue in the apk? I don't have enough experience to fix this
You can find the browser.apk which I'm using in the attachments area.

Happens on my tablet too, but only after I log in. Try logging out and see if it's still there, or use Tapatalk

Hey, I am a noob. Could somebody tell me how to get the pure Android 4.0 settings on my Xperia U.
Or simply the settings in CM9. Is it as simple as I replace the APK from the FXP's or something but I
really like the pure android settings. Please help. I have uploaded a pic for reference..
thanks
I dont think that a simple copy-paste would be enough for that but nothing wrong with giving it a try (Although chances are a bit slim ) Odds are you'll need to edit Settings.apk after decompiling and make alot of edits to get it to aosp style
try tentone's Clean ICS rom
I've Made a Rom that has this stock settings.
But its for Xperia p and I currently can't change the switches

It's not that easy it will not work
can't we port any AOSP settings, call screen, contacts, etc.?
I did it. Aosp settings successfully installed

Mind telling everyone how you managed it ? A bit curious myself
Anyway, Congrats on the lucky break
Y not just install cm9?

You can search for it too. It was called 'aosp framework'
I remember its title has these words' works on Xperia u, p with caveat'

Haven't had this issue in any of the STOCK ROMs in my phone, the call delay bug annoys me.

Is there any ROM on JB that does not have dialer lag? I've tried many of them, but no success .. Any help?

Yes, AOSP Based rom
Dialer lag is witb stock sony rom, not rom. Unless sony fix, no sony stock based rom would be without the lag.

Well I recently installed CM10 on my XGO with JB, and it still lags.

As much as I know, there isn't CM10.1 for XGO, but I shall search.
just use ex dialer from the play store

Should've told me earlier. I installed CM10.1 unofficial, and I don't have bluetooth now x.x
You can clean and hide dial history and dialer works smooth on stock-based roms.

the lag come when you answer a cal nd when you call someone
not from keeping it in memory so the app open fast

So, Wi-Fi sleep bug preventing you from using AOSP JB 4.1 based ROMs? That was the case with me, I was sad that I was missing out on such a great platform due to one bug. After a lot of running around, here's a good, almost permanent workaround.
1. Flash your AOSP JB 4.1 ROM, GAPPS and all
2. Download "Advanced WiFi Lock" app from Play Store
3. Open it and activate it
4. Voila, WiFi no longer will disconnect when phone goes to sleep
Should solve the sleep problem on all ROMs
Warning-
1. This may/may not take up more battery, I found no significant difference. Its a small price to pay for solving this bug
Credits- @Sala1988 for suggesting it

THANK YOU

Isn't it possible to watch what the App is doing and then use this informations to really fix (without 3rd Party Apps) the sleep problem?
Sent with my SEXRay on SJB v7
The app actually creates a minor wake lock, so it doesn't actually fix the issue but merely prevents the circumstances that cause the bug to appear.
