Hello guys. I have a request (or please share link to me) of ROM ar any other way how to turn my phone to mp3 player only. All i want is use this phone as "ipod nano" - just play some music, no calls, no messages, no wifi, (bluetooth can work).
Any ideas?
(If you ask "why?" - i have galaxy s4 and i don't want to have unused phone Screen is cracked and this phone is terrible comparing with galaxy s4 )

If you don't use it why you don't send it to Biel, so he can use it for repair parts?

yeah it works. download or update it from the market. then when you boot skype up, go into settings and scroll down until you see enable video calls (or something like that) and enable it. you now have video.

Hey guys!
I was wondering if regular video calls (not skype or google talk) are disabled on this device or just not supported.
I had older phones that support this feature and I'm shocked that it is not working on this one.
Does someone knows if this is by design or it could be enabled by tweaking/installing a new ROM?
BTW it is running stock ROM 2.3.4 compilation 4.0.2.A.0.58

do you mean video call using 3g? i am shocked to know that android can't do that. my trusty ~4 y/o Nokia N70 can do that without any problem. manage to make few video calls then i never used it again.
Maybe there is an android app which can able the phone to do video-calls... did you look for it??
J think is possible to enable video call 3g in native with a new dialer my samsung galaxy tab p1000 ( the first galaxy tab) have the video call 3g enable in stock rom and it walk like a charm
found a apk to instal it ...

Yes, I used it all the time with my Samsung Galaxy S 2, do you thing that the phone app of the SGS2 will work on a Xperia Mini Pro?

ok so i took a video of my daughter and went to look for the movie maker/editor 0.0 its not there was on my galaxy s2 it let me ad audio to my movies but i cant do that now anyone know of a replacement app? not a video trimmer..
bump! i tried putting the gs2 video editor apk to my s3 also the one from the galaxy nexus but the nexus is slugish and freezes while the s2 just force closes.
this (beep) is annoying a simple video editor please... anyone? maybe someone knows how to get the s2 or n3xus movie makers to work on the s3.. im thinking its because of the quadcore processor tht they wont?

hi thanks iv already tried that, the problem with that is it force closes on me when i switch to the audio edit part and then try to go back to the video.. also it doest let you remove the sound from the origional video like the movie maker does in galaxy s2.
Just installed Andromedia Video Editor, but unistalled it straight away as it was picked up as a threat by TrustGo Security which advised that it could read your phone book, change your browser homepage and create shortcuts without your permission.
Have to say, I love the fact I can get free apps through the Play Store, but why do the app creators have to let themselves down by building crapware into the app? Stuff like that actually makes me want to pay,

as it is guys I have an old phone sony xperia sp and also a htc a9 .... thinking of using the a9 as the music player as my old xp is stuck on 4.2 and the throw function doesnt seem to be that good. i have a libratone wifi wireless speaker on the network and wonder if there is a way to remove all the processes i dont need , (phone, gsm etc ) only keeping wifi, music player and the throw/chromecast thingy function. whatdya rekon guys ?
... i did dedicate my old xperia sp to this cause and was great as the battery life lasted about a week but like i said , i need the a9 to be my new music player i think ..
You can use system app remover app avaliable from Google play to debloat the phone then try to add a sound mod to the device such as v4a etc
