Hey,
I just got the v711s tablet directly from china and I tried to flash it with a new firmware but I didn't took the good one. Now the touch screen doesn't work and I'm unable to reflash it to an other firmware.
Also the boot manager is not responsive so no chance on this side (also I don't have volume button on the tablet).
You guys have any idea what should be my next step ?
Is a hard reset via SD card available ? Is there a way to get boot manager working ?
Thanks !
So... Nobody has a idea ??

did you manage to get this resolved?
If not (and i may be telling you things you already know but...) arctablet have a small forum devoted to this tablet here .
out of interest, which ROM caused you to brick your onda?
Thanks for the link to the Onda forum,
I fixed the tablet with installing Pheonix Suite and put the tablet in flash mode (press the home button while pressing power button 10 times) and flash it with new firmware.

Can anyone help me get set up with CWM recovery on my generic A13-MID tablet? I have been searching forums and google for quite a while and have not found the information I am looking for. I have a 7" tablet running Android 4.0.3 (rooted). I have installed plenty of custom roms, etc on my droid phone, but I am new to the tablet and with a knock-off device, I am really struggling to find the info I need. One obstacle is that for physical buttons I only have a Volume +/- and Power (no back button), but I have read that people have installed CWM with touch capabilities instead of having to use the physical keys. I just really want to be able make a nandroid backup of my current working system...any thoughts??? Thanks!

Thank you, I will give it a go later today. The only other thing that concerns me is the lack of a Back button on my tablet. Do you think I'm going to run into problem while in CWM without the ability to hit a Back button?
Thanks!

Just flashed CWM per your instructions - very nice! Only other question I have is how to get to CWM manually (not form novo7tools) when the tablet is off...I tried the usual Volume Up + Power, but I get nothing.

just press the power button with volume up for 5 to 8 seconds the release the power button !
I actually can't get it to boot to CWM with the hardware buttons...not sure what's going on, but hopefully I won't get to the point where I need to do that.
try with volume down button !
did you have any problems installing the usb drivers, if not can you post the drivers you used as I have tried downloading drivers and my device is not being recognised
I already installed the novo7 tool and did the instructions posted on the link given, still it didn't able to enter in the recovery mode, and all I got is a android logo lying down with a red triangle icon with a "!" inside it.

Hi,
I was just wondering: Have you rooted your device and have you installed twrp for your specific device? (I know, sounds like a dumb question, but you'll be suprised how many people install wrong versions). Because if you have rooted your device properly, and you installed twrp (one for your device), then you should be just fine. But I'm afraid that you haven't, and that therefore the screen is all fuzzy. And also, is the screen fuzzy in the twrp menu, or when you are on (e.g) the homescreen? If the second option doesn't apply, then you are not bricked. Please answer and give as much information as possible on what you did, then I might be able to help you. (btw, it's very unlikely that you are hard-bricked and that your device won't be able to be repaired)
(and a happy new year )

Yes i root my device before i installed twrp , when i boot my tablet twrp boots up the screens goes alll blurry / fuzzy with colors then it becomes normal recovery menue i installed twrp touch so i should be able to touch the setting but i can't i press the power button and a fuzze Unlock with ''Slide to unlock'' comes up but i can't slide to unlock it.. Oh yeah and it is upside down so i have to turn my tablet upside ..
I think[I know] i installed the wrong version of twrp which does not work for my device, Is there any way i could get rid of this recovery or factory reset?
What kind of tablet do you have? Does the bootloader support fastboot? If so you should be able to flash the proper recovery. If not does adb work when in recovery? You may be able to change it here. Also your OEM may have a download mode to flash firmware, this may be another option.
Sent from my Nexus 4 using XDA Premium 4 mobile app
I have a Allwinner A31 table to be precise ubonton u705a
I have tried adb but it just says [waiting for device] so I guess ADB does not work.
I don't know anything about bootloaders it had an option of fastbooting in the power menus if that means anything sorry for my lack of description Sent from my R800i using xda app-developers app

I think the easiest would be to just install the right version, the same way you installed this version. You are still able to connect your device to your pc, I guess, so you should be fine. To go back to your stock recovery, find the stock recovery for your device (you can probably find it somewhere here on the forums), and flash it.
Hope this works and good luck

Hi All,
Since 3 years I had upgraded my Android 2.1 Flytouch 10.1 Tablet into Flytouch 2.2. #3245 version, without any major problems.
My only problem was that I was not able to use Titanium back up and some other apps unless I was rooted, so after many attempts
I succeeded to root it and to be able to use it. Until the time I decided to upgrade my BusyBox to the latest version. After that I rebooted
my tablet with success but only for once because since then it freezes at start up.
How can I recover my system please.??
Thanks.

Flash this in recovery --> UPDATE-SuperSU-v1.93.zip
delete cache/dalvik in recovery
Can you further elaborate as to how I shall do it since I cannot initialize the Recovery Utility on my Tablet.
The only think I can do is I can connect it to my WXP desktop with a male to male USB cable and get it
to be recognized by the WXP.
I would rather prefer to get it to boot from a SD card to update or recover my Tablet.
Sorry for my ignorance as I am only a newbee..
Thanks a lot.

I think you've panic and worsen your problem. You've flashed many roms and you told us that some of those roms are for those phone who just have the same specs on yours. Flashing roms which are not for your device will lead you to problem as far as I know. Look for some devs here. Im just stating an opinion. Cheer up! You can fix you phone men.

Hi there flint, where did you get the ROM? And is it the European version? Please I beg you I need a link to download it as I got an ROM from the needrom website and it is the Chinese version which in turn messed up my camera software and no matter how many times I reinstall or clear data/cache or factory reset it, it just doesn't seem to work, even tried different galleries and cameras and moved them into /system/data. I was not being smart and did not do a backup and now I'm stuck with this issue. Please help.

Did you keep any screenshots to external sd card from when your handset was working (about phone build number etc ) page or at least did you keep a note of these details ?
