General section read the faqs and guides first .
If you dont know the answer to question 1 then you have no Nandroid backup and probably no EFS backup >>> Start with the basics before you brick your phone .

I've looked through the forum and found too many answers.
Here is what happened.
I didn't like the ROM I just installed so I went to Restore old.
In clockwork, I hit restore (after backup yesterday). That finished and I rebooted.
My phone went to the opening screen. Which says Vibrant. And Samsung. It won't go passed that.
Do your custom room include the custom kernel? , if the answer was 'yes' so u cant use ur nandroid backup to restore ur previos rom, you have to flash again with odin or some thing
+ it just soft brick but u have to flash stock rom again
If u thing it help u so press it

The ROM that I flashed last night was RemICS. I forget what the original ROM was.
I will try ODIN
agreed with NoeRie. But still you can odin to stock . and later if u remember the ROM that nandroid backup was taken you can flash the ROM and then restore ONLY data.. [there is an option under advanced as i remember]

Thanks for the help.
Odin worked.
Now I need to pick a ROM.
For usualy use just pick a rom that with stock kernel , but if u do know the risk using custom kernel rom than , try it ,..
+the rom that use custom kernel will be more power full but if u want to back with ur nandroid backup you have to go with odin again , chose the best bro and read all thread before use some rom, usualy they have some bug to deal with . . Sory bad english

Hello guys,
I was trying to flash Aeon Xperia S Lockscreen, and after flashing i got bootloop. What shall I do? Should i use:
6. Turning the "brick" into a smartphone
If you had unlocked bootloader and did OTA(Over the Air) update, then you probably ended up with a dead phone, aka brick. Don't worry, it is not completely bricked, still can be saved!
Download UnbrickingXperia2011.zip file from this post below.
Unpack the .zip file and place the .ftf file in Flashtool\firmwares folder.
Open Flashtool.
Get your phone to flashmode, make sure it is turned off, press down Volume DOWN button and connect USB cable.
In Flashtool, click the lightning button, pick Flashmode and choose the Xperia_2011_FreeXperia_ALL.ftf file.
Let Flashtool finish.
Install stock firmware and kernel to your phone.
Remove USB cable from your phone and start your phone.
Try not to brick it again, less problems for you.
Method or something else, because i can't boot recovery because I need to reboot to recovery mode. PLEASE HELP!!!
Are u on UL bootloader. If yes then just flash any other kernel from my signature . Recovery comes with it and flash the custom ROM from the recovery...
if u had made a backup before flashing the lockscreen zip u could have restored from that !! this is exactly why u should make a bckup in recovery before messing with your phone.. the point is always mentioned by the developers in all their works and still we ignore it.

if u are getting bootloop it means u have not bricked ur phone. use flashtool to flash old firmware . this will restore your stock ROM and BB. but ur apps and data will be lost. then u can use xparts app from play to install CWM

Can I use PCC or SUS to repair it?
And yes, I have CWM installed using xparts, but only way to get to CWM is from phone, using "Reboot to Recovery" option. Or is there another way?

Go into recovery mode (Volume up + home + power) and go into clockworkmod recovery. Then go to backup and restore then select backup and wait until it backup everything. Then you flash the script.

i dont know for sure...i want to install nandroid manager but i cant install any app..
I guess I am confused on where you are at with this then. Typically when someone says they have a nandroid, they completed a full back up via their custom recovery. First thing to try when this happens is to restore the nandroid backup via the same recovery. Are you not able to boot into CWM anymore as well?

K, well if it does boot up into the OS, then you should be able to use the command: adb reboot recovery - and see if that will kick you back into it to restore.
If that doesn't work, then you'll have to do a full restore probably.
Here's the official software from their site:

Hi GUys,my samsung galaxy grand2 duos(SM-G7102) is stuck in bootloop after restoring nandroid backup. The backup got restored successfully but my phone got stuck in bootloop
I'm using CWM 6.0.4.8.... i'm seen somewhere that you have to flash boot.img in your nandroid backup using adb after restoring,is that true....
OS: LP 5.1.1 cm 12.1
I've flashed project skynet earlier, but took nandroid backup before that,so no change in os. I just wanna restore ........HELP ME OUT GUYS....:fingers-crossed:
use twrp
if your phone gets stuck at the screen which shows device name and model number, it means you should change your bootloader.
go to cwm>restore> advanced restore from sdcard01(you can find custom restore option there. check whether you have bootloader backup. if yes, then restore bootloader. if its not working, then it means the backup files are corrupted.
next option is dowloading stock rom and flashing.
