Q: I don't use the on-screen softkeys. How do I remove the navigation bar?
A: Go into Hybrid Properties --> Interface, under Workspace drag the slider for "Navigation Bar Size" to 0%.
Q: How do I disable the dual-pane layout that is preset in some apps (Settings, Gmail, etc.)?
A:Go into Hybrid Properties --> Apps and choose the app that you want to change. In the top right hand corner, click "Reset" and it will change the DPI and the layout of that app to the Workspace default that you have set. If your default Workspace is phablet / tablet UI but you want a specific app to not have the dual-pane layout, then go into Hybrid Properties --> Apps and set the specific app to phone UI.
Q: Some ROM Control options do not work?
A: ROM Control is still a WIP as of right now. The frameworks part of ROM Control has yet to be merged, so that's why some settings are blank. Please give some time, and it will be fixed in the near future.
ROMControl is now fixed and mostly working.
Q: Why did some of Hybrid Properties options disappear in the new update?
A: Go into Hybrid Properties --> Tools, and check Expert Mode and more settings will appear.
Q: How to I disable the PIE controls?
A: Go to Toolbars --> PIE Trigger Size and set that to none.

Oh, fun! Just saw the thread in General about you being new to this. Kinds scared until I saw you had 18 years of experience with Linux stuff. I don't actually own an i717. My buddy bought one on ebay a few months ago and I got him on T-Mo with Padawan. He's been bugging.me about putting a 4.3 ROM on it for him. Probably try this one tomorrow when I go over.. Anyone tried a a t-mo modem on 4.3??

Hey,
Yeah I'm somewhat new to android development and have lots to learn, but find myself right at home in the environment. It is Linux at its core which is a big plus for me. I don't have many problems with this ROM that others aren't having. As bugs get fixed upstream in Paranoid, AOKP and CyanogenMod the fixes will be incorporated here. Now that this is set up and running I'll be helping where I can to fix defects and enhance the already awesome things that make up this ROM. Hope you enjoy it as much as I do.

As far as I know Jamie's UBER-3.0 kernel is built for JB-4.3. Supported? Well, I am running it now without issues but YMMV. You need to know what your doing and be willing to tolerate some instability when playing on the 'fringe' with tweakable kernels in trying to find that "sweet spot". I've not fooled with settings enough to say I can "support" it, no. I've run it long enough to be able to say it functions.

I did on another build and it ended up being a mismatched md5sum with the gapps. Maybe double check that.

"Unfortunately, the process com.google.process.gapps has stopped. Blame Tyler." appears after setting up wifi. And randomly afterwards during the setup process.
Appears with official 8-13-13 4.3 gapps and 8-22-13 PA gapps.
